Dr. Rita Soin is an excellent dentist who is always very knowledgeable and professional. My whole family are patients of hers and she is outstanding. Every appointment we’ve had has been pain free and super smooth. If you are looking for a wonderful dentist, I highly recommend her!

I have been client of signal Hill dental for many years, and have always had excellent service right from reception to completion of dental work. All appointment times are always right on, and any and all procedures, treatments and billing are completely explained to me before any dental work begins. I would like to thank aii the staff and Doctors for there excellent work, as I will always be a client, today and in the future. Many thanks.

I am always amazed at how kind and friendly the staff are. I always can get an appointment and Dr Soin is so gentle and positive it puts me at ease. Could not imagine going anywhere else

Dr. Chiu and Jahset were a pleasure to work with. They both took great care of me and I would highly recommend them!

Friendly reception staff, great hygienists and dentists. Always feel comfortable going here and my 7 year old likes it there so much she wants to go!

Dental assistant name Jahset and Dr. Chiu is very accommodating…. They did a very good job when I visited…they are so amazing in performing my toot extraction…their instructions is clear…these guys show how passionate they are in there job…thank you and looking forward to see again in my next visit

My issue is that while requesting my clinical notes and x-rays I was told it was a 75$ fee, because it takes time to compile

This was shocking to me as i have never heard of a fee for accessing my own records in any dental office I've attended or worked at.

Reception explained this was due to the effort it takes to compile the information, and that the doctor has to do it

It sounds like they need a better system- any office that uses dentrix software this would be a 5 step process totalling 5 minutes.

I called back and spoke to Kodie who assured me there is no charge and that I can pick up my documents later today, they gained a star for that.

However, low rating overall because had I not stood my ground, I would have been billed for something absurd. Please have a discussion with your admin team as I'm sure others have been wrongfully billed as I almost was.

Had my appt booked jul 30 and got a text a week earlier asking me to change to Wednesday. Agreed and texted back advising I’ll ok with the switch ended the convo “see you on Wednesday”. On the day of the appt as there was no text reminder I called to double check, the receptionist pointed out that switch is an offer, as no confirmation text back thus it’s never switched. I was baffled, first of all, I’m offered to change the date, secondly isn’t it a courtesy to simply let me know the switch was not done via text? Nope nothing. Still finding excuse at the time of me calling to confirm the appt. Called 2 days later to cancel my 30th appt because I have other problems with my previous filing visit. (Got a filling done and had to go back 2 times to fix because the tooth was not smooth) Next day, got a call again asking me to confirm 30th appt. It’s just a nightmare. So glad I made the switch.

Kerry is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and her hands are very gentle. She is one of the best hygienists I have had. Highly recommend!

As a self- admitted dentaphobe, I was so happy to be meet and entrust myself and my family to the care of Dr. Tran and his team a number of years ago. They have listened to my dental concerns and have made beneficial changes to the well-being of my health. I actually work out of town for long periods of time, but make sure I drive or fly back to see Dr. Tran and the crew at Signal Hill for my regular check ups and cleaning - they are the only dental company I can trust and relax with. Yesterday I had a filling completed with Dr Singh and I know that they are the best dental centre in the West!

I will difinitely recommend Dr. Peter Tan, I had an extraction and he is awesome. I didn't feel any pain I am always scared of needles but he did great with me. I will also appreciate the receptionist and the dental hygienist. Thank you so much.

Customer service has gone downhill. The front desk ladies are hit and miss with attitude. Horrible experience, for both my wife and I on multiple occasions, and we have both seen while waiting behaviors towards other clients that are entirely unprofessional. I've been a client since 2009 and never again. We get it - you don't like your job. Your problem, not everyone else's. 0/5.

Great team at this dental office. Friendly and helpful, and always willing to get you in for an emergency when one arises.

Always happy with our visits at Signal Hill Dental. Today our toddler had his teeth counted for the first time. He’s had multiple “happy visits” in the past with no pressure for a check up until he was ready! Today was the day! Thank you Dr. Singh and the rest of the team at SHD for the best experience for our little guy!

Great service and staff. I'll be honest, I do not love going to the dentist, but this dental centre is superb! The services provided are excellent with time taken to explain options and the fees are reasonable and they do offer different payment options.

Dr. Tran covered the cost of the most thorough dental cleaning I have ever had in my life because my insurance only covered a basic clean; Dr. Tran assessed that I needed a deep clean, and did so at no extra cost to me! This is so wonderful! I had a filling and several chipped teeth repaired with no discomfort except for feeling cold in my gums. The procedure was quick and painless. Well done Dr. Tran and hygenist! I highly recommend Signal Hill Dental Centre for all dental needs! Calgary is fortunate to have this fine dental care centre!

Super amazing experience with the front end staff and back end staff. I have been scared of the dentist since younger years. Their compassion and understanding has definitely helped me get over that fear. I have been to other dentists in the past and have always been "shamed" for not flossing or having plaque build up on my teeth. The hygienist was super understanding and did not make me feel embarrassed in any way.

The dentist was also super sweet! I was so scared leading up to getting my cavities fixed, but once I talked with him, all my fears and worries were eased.

I would recommend them to anyone who needs a dental recommendation!
