Silver Springs Preschool

Silver Springs Pre School is amazing. Our daughter has attended the school for two years and we have had nothing but great experiences. The teachers and support staff are all very welcoming, patient and knowledgeable with this age group.

Not only is the learning aspect great, the children are provided with so many other opportunities such as sledding, skating and bike riding.

This is an amazing preschool. Our daughter loves going there and always comes home raving about how much fun she had. We are all a little sad that this will be her last year. We will for sure enroll our other daughter for the 3 year old program when the time comes.

Highly recommend this preschool! My kids love it. The teachers put so much effort into making it a magical and enriching experience. They are always up to something fun and interesting. They make very unique crafts and there is lots of outdoor play too. From dinosaurs to outer space to the sea my son is learning so much!

We so so so love this preschool. Have our third and final kiddo attending this year. The teachers are wonderful, passionate and so invested in the care and learning taking place there! We will truly miss this place when we are done. Anyone looking for a 3 or 4 year program would be so fortunate to have their child attend here! Thank you Silver Springs Preschool for laying beautiful foundations to our kids school experiences! Forever grateful!

This is a great preschool! The staff are so kind and responsive and the activities/themes are very engaging. My son loves going to the 3 year old program and always has great things to tell me at the end of class. I would highly recommend this preschool to others!

Our daughter is in the 3 year old class and she absolutely adores her teachers and classmates. The care, attention, and patient teaching Ms. Anderson & Mrs. McLeod give to the children has far exceeded any of our hopes for a 3 year old program. From the amazing crafts and fun stories our daughter brings home daily she is fully engaged and this is a credit to her wonderful teachers!

The classes are conducted inside the Silver Spring's Community Center in a separate location from the daily business and programs the Community Center provides. The classes are very clean, safe and in a kid friendly environment (kid washrooms, individual classroom's, separate Gym/Activity area). The program also does a TON of outdoor activities utilizing all the great amenities & sport courts just outside the building for the kids to run, play and burn off some energy.

In what may have been a heavy time over the last few years to be a parent with the restrictions, what is best/safe for not only our kids but our extended families, and is now the right time and is this the right program? !? For us personally, we unequivocally made the right decision and could not be more thrilled with our daughters progress in the program and how excited she is to go to class every Tuesday and Thursday. She is enrolled in the all-day 4 year old program for next year.

We just wanted to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to Ms. Anderson and Mrs. McLeod for your caring and positive attitude and experience not only for the kids but us parents as well! Kudos!

The teachers are what make the Silver Springs Preschool so special. Very creative with the curriculum and great use of the space - lots of learning through play, outdoor time and even field trips. My daughter loves going to class as there’s always something new and exciting happening. She’s already made some great friends and is excited to continue on with them into the four-year-old program next year. Cannot recommend this preschool enough!

We really like this preschool as does our son who’s now in his second and final year. They’re well organized and the teachers are excellent. Highly recommended!

I was very hesitant to send my 3 year old son to preschool in the middle of the pandemic, but I am so happy I did. The preschool has been prioritizing safety for the kids and teachers, and always has open communication with the parents. It's incredible to see my son's independence grow and we immediately signed him up for the 4 year old program as soon as we were able.

We don't live in Silver Springs, but it was still very easy to register from a different community.

I would definitely recommend this preschool to anyone.

I would definitely recommend Silver Springs Preschool. The teachers are amazing, very hands on and always letting the parents know what's going on day-to day. My son is always coming home with a new creative project. A lot of learning and outside play. I cant say enough good things about this preschool. My son wants he's teacher to come to Kindergarten with him:)

The teachers are wonderful! Our son attended last year and our daughter currently does and will next year too. They have both absolutely loved it. The teachers are caring, supportive, enthusiastic and you can tell they love what they do. Both our kids learned so much and we can’t wait to send our third child in a year.

My son currently attends morning classes and loves his time at the Silver Springs Preschool. I have been very impressed with the preschool’s approach to ever-changing health regulations. They have adapted and maximized learning experiences where possible while also ensuring the safety of families and community. Communication between the school and parents has been phenomenal and the teachers are incredibly supportive. Highly recommend!

I would recommend any parent with young children in the area to take a look at Silver Springs Preschool. We have been lucky to have both our boys attend the school and have had a fantastic experience year after year. The teachers are hard working, care about each child, and use the learn through play method as a way to make learning fun. They offer a variety of programs, morning or afternoon for three and four year olds, as well as the all day four year old program, making school flexible for any lifestyle. Children get to experience the outdoors since the school is located near walking paths, green space, hills to sled down, and the community skating rink. During Covid all staff worked hard to keep the kids health and safety a priority, each going above and beyond with hygiene measures. We will be so sad to move on from this school once preschool graduation rolls around!

I can’t begin to express how amazing Silver Springs preschool is. Our son recently received an ASD diagnosis, and Silver Springs has been so supportive of him, as well as his therapists. Our son’s teachers create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where all of the students are able to play, learn, and shine. My son begs us every day to go to Silver Springs, he loves it there so much! This is hands down the best place for any child, and we are so excited to send our daughter when she is old enough.

I would highly recommend the Silver Springs preschool to any family. The teachers are so warm and welcoming. My son is in the 3 year old class, he looks forward to going. He runs into the school each day and he talks about his teachers and asks everyday if it’s a school day. The Teacher is at the door waiting to welcome each of the students. If your child struggles with going to class or with learning skills the teachers take the time to engage one on one. The teachers also keep the parents informed.

Amazing preschool! We love the teachers and the programming. The all day program for 4 year olds is fantastic. My daughter comes home after each class saying her day was "awesome! "

What a wonderful group of caring, compassionate, and dedicated teachers and support staff. My son attended both the 3 and 4 year programs and it made such a difference in his confidence, he really flourished with the consistent care his teachers showed. I cannot say enough good about the silver springs preschool, thanks for everything!

The teachers are wonderful and pay special attention to each child's individual learning needs. The program itself has so much creativity, play and positive learning. My daughter has loved every minute and has blossomed in her last two years here!

I live outside of Silver Springs and it is 1 million % worth the drive!
