We were extremely happy with the work and efforts that Simply Elegant dedicated to planning and executing our wedding at the Waterfront Park in September. Jade is the Event Production Director and she wears the role fabulously. She was quick to pick up on the big and small details that we wanted and delivered no questions asked. Mark is the catering manager and he met with us a couple times for tastings and menu revisions. He never got tired of our inquiries or requests (at least to our faces lol) and was very willing to go the extra mile for us. The team at Simply Elegant made themselves very available to us and our vendors on the wedding day and the days leading up to it. My guests mentioned how enjoyable the Simply Elegant team was on our wedding day and how they were fun, relaxed yet very organized. Thank you again Simply Elegant!

Simply Elegant catered and managed our wedding on site at the Christine Klassen Art gallery. From start to finish working with their team was such a great experience and they went above and beyond for us every step of the way. It was a joy to have them with us on our special night and the specially tailored menu was absolutely incredible. They managed set up and tear down seamlessly and the venue was incredibly pleased with their friendliness and professionalism. Thank you Jade, Mark, Karin, Eila and Rob! And to the rest of the team as well. You guys did a spectacular job.

Bait and switch, poor communication.
Vendor moved the venue location without contacting us (due to weather). Ignored over a dozen phone calls the day of and we could not contact or speak to anyone until we arrived after all the changes had been made.
The Venue (due to weather), DJ and all our song requests, chef and food, and coordinator were all changed the week of our wedding without informing us in any way or working with us on potential changes. The bartender they hired spent more time telling the bride groom that he would not be serving shots because he was some sort of self appointed safety commissioner. The average age of our guests was well over 40 and this was insulting and not necessary.
After numerous attempts to speak with the owner afterwards (which felt like something that should have happened without our enormous effort) we finally received an email saying that we could contact him. During this call he spent more time talking about how "he wasn't making any money on this" than he did listening to our concerns.
Full disclosure we were given a roughly 5% discount after weeks of back and forth which we felt was not significant enough to compensate for the complete lack of communication and not delivering what was shown to us on any front.
It is my personal opinion that couples looking to have their wedding in Calgary look elsewhere.

We booked Simply Elegant Corp to cater our company event, and we were so happy with the delicious food, the customer service, and the simplicity of the process. Everyone commented on how great the dinner was. Thank you!
