Dr. Devani and Lisa and friendly and detailed in their work. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great dermatologist.

I started my journey of skin cancer treatments with Dr. Devani many years ago. He is a great and knowledgeable specialist, who treats you with compassion and kindness. Thanks to his skills, my future with skin cancer has improved greatly. Christine and all his staff are friendly and skillful. I really appreciate that all my appointments are always punctual and on time! I have recommended dr. Devani to my family members, because I know, they’re in good hands!

All went well at my appointment. Chantal was very kind and friendly. She took a couple of skin samples from my leg and I was impressed which how little I felt. Chantal was also helpful in directing me to the skin care products area.

My experience at the skin and wellness clinic was amazing! The staff, nurses, and doctor were all so pleasant and understanding. The attending nurse, Christina, was absolutely fantastic! We built rapport fairly quickly and she explained the process of the procedure. Thank you for making this procedure a bit less stressful for me:)

If I could give zero stars I would.
Reception and management is very unorganized. Had an allergic reaction and it has taken several weeks to get a response. Both through phone calls and Brightsquid. I don't believe this has anything to do with the dermatologists themselves but rather poor management.

This place does not answer the phone. Tried to book an appt for my son who is an existing patient…. No one answers the phone and I’ve left 3 voicemails and it’s been 2 weeks and still no call back? I’m not sure how this place is still running, absolutely ridiculous.

The booking system is terrible as they only book a month or two in advance, so you have to keep calling back and hoping to get in, like trying to buy concert tickets

The doctor I saw was friendly but dismissed my concerns. A year later, turns out she missed a critical diagnosis. Not going to be returning here.

Also no free parking anywhere around this isolated area.

My mom had been referred here with an agonizing skin condition that our doctor can’t figure out - she has been suffering for a couple months. After not hearing from the office for a few weeks she called to inquire and was treated very rudely by the office/receptionist and told they couldn’t find her referral as they receive hundreds weekly. Later she was told she did get an appointment two months later and should feel extremely lucky. It made me feel very sad re the poor “bedside manner” and lack of empathy my mom was shown considering what she is experiencing. A listening ear and a kind voice makes all the difference.

Trying to get an appointment is next to Impossible. I cannot talk to anyone no matter what time of day i called.
Only "leave a message with a promise they will get back to you" Well.they don't. What options do I have?

I’ve been trying my best to book an appointment with my Skin Practitioner for the longest time. When I found out I could book online, they called me to mention that I had a No-Show Fee. They said they had no records of the email reminders but they just know I did a No-Show. Basically, it’s very hard to contact them but they are eager to call you a bunch of times to collect a fee.

My son is (was) an existing patient and has been seen in clinic. We have been trying for two weeks to book another appointment. Between my wife and I we have called maybe 8 times? Every time, the phone goes unanswered and the call goes into a queue. The message says that if you go unanswered after waiting 10 minutes in the queue, you will be directed to leave a message and that your call will be returned in 24-48 hours. After leaving 5 separate voice messages, we have NEVER received a callback.

I recently saw Dr. Prajapati and he was beyond great, very knowledgeable and understand and listened to all my concerns throughout my appointment. Would recommend him to everyone!

I too was referred to a Dermatologist. I have been booked with a GP with an special interest in dermatology. I have already waited close to a year. When booking, I asked why a GP when I already saw one, who referred me to a dermatologist (? Double billing). She said there is a year wait for an actual dermatologist. I conceded and booked the appt. I received and email to log into Brightsquid (yet another user name and login to remember). Their system gave me an error 404 to contact the clinic. I have phoned and left messages and have been put on hold. They are using Covid as an excuse still for their lack of staff. My appointment has never been confirmed and it is in 4 hours. Still can't get through. No respect for my time and the time I need to take off work to make this appointment.

I’ve only visited the clinic once, had a good experience with staff and the Dr I saw. However WHAT is with the phone lines? It is nearly impossible to book. You’re either playing phone tag or nobody calls you at all. Literally impossible to book or talk to someone. I just keep leaving voicemails. I’m out of my medication and continue to call to hopefully talk to someone about booking but no … what is going on? It’s been this way since I was first referred. Hoping maybe a review will get me in touch with someone.

Why don't they answer their phones? I leave a voicemail and hear nothing back. Not good patient care maybe hire more staff! When I do get through, staff is usually helpful atleast.

I have been dealing with insane allergies for the past 8 months. I'm normally not an allergy sufferer, so this is all new to me. My eyes off an on for about 6 months were red, super swollen, dry, itchy, and I had gained about 10 new deep under eye wrinkles. 2 trips to my family doctor resulted in medication which didn't help. I contacted this clinic and saw Dr. Kim who prescribed a topical steroid. The transformation is practically magical, my face is back to normal in 3 days! So so grateful to Dr. Kim (and her assistant)! I hope I don't have to come back, but if I do, I'm confident to use this team and clinic again. Thanks everyone!

Dr. Su was maybe one of the most thoughtful, compassionate, and patient doctors I've ever encountered. I am blown away by how helpful she was and the amount of time she took to just listen. She takes a lot into consideration before giving any sort of diagnosis and actually cares about the patient's experience and resolution of their issues.
I feel really fortunate that I was able to meet with her as it gave me a lot of hope regarding my situation.

I absolutely recommend her if you want a dermatologist that is willing to work with you and resolve your issue while making you feel heard.

I was referred to Dr Burbidge last February to check a suspected basal cell skin cancer. Her and her staff have been absolutely amazing to me on my skin health journey. They are very professional, kind, and they always have compassion when I voice my concerns and anxiousness. I also had an appointment to see Dr Potok well my regular doctor was away. Her and her staff were absolutely amazing as well! The front desk staff always show care and patience while getting you registered. The entire clinic is full of great people who are trying to make your appointment as comfortable and positive as it can be. I feel very fortunate to be referred to this facility. I truly believe they care about my overall health and wellness. They dont cut corners and they always make sure my concerns are taken care of. I am grateful to be in such great hands!

Dr. Prajapati is an amazing dermatologist who provided exceptional care to me. He and his staff have been very welcoming and available

I just saw Dr. Prajapathi for some skin issues and I have to say, it was a great experience. Staff was super nice and very knowledgeable. I left feeling confident in the plan we came up with and can't wait to see the results. I would definitely recommend this Dr. Prajapathi to anyone!

I was referred here by my family doctor. I was meant to see a dermatologist and waited over 4 months for my appointment only to arrive at the dermatology clinic upstairs and be sent to the regular medical clinic downstairs where I met with someone that I’m not sure was a dermatologist. The doctor I saw is labeled as a general practitioner on their website and didn’t have much knowledge at all on the skin care products I was using. They seemed unsure if toner was good and didn’t know what hyaluronic acid was and just kept saying “keep it simple with cerave” without knowing anything about the products I’m already using or being willing to look them up for ingredient lists. My family doctor knows more about skin products than this guy seemed to. His assistant also entered the room and said “so you are here cause you have bumps on your face? ! ”. Which wasn’t listed anywhere in the form I completed online. I took lots of time to fill out a form only for her to re-ask every single question while the filled out form was in front of her. This same assistant did a small biopsy on my knee and gave me one stitch that didn’t even close the hole. The area bled all day then the stitch fell out 2 days later and now I’m left with a sore scab that will leave a gross scar. She should’ve done 2 stitches and should’ve done them tighter so they actually closed up the hole. Wasn’t a great experience overall.

Incredible staff and they all genuinely care.
I was referred to Dr. Devani in 2015 by a clinic for something the doctor was unsure about. Dr Devani treated that and we got to talking. I told him I used to be a landscape gardener and during my time had gotten a number of sunburns. He asked if I had ever been screened. I didn't even know you could be screened. He did a screening there and then, going well above and beyond why I was there. He found something, sent it to the lab, and it was indeed skin cancer. Within a week I was back in and he removed it. Simultaneously enrolling me in his screening program. I now go for regular visits and I am happy to report I am still cancer free. This place saved my life because Dr. Devani cared enough to do go further than required because a patient was high risk.
If I could I would give a hell of a lot more than 5 stars.

On January 6th, I was scheduled for a virtual appointment with Dr. Prajapti at 10: 50 am.

LPN Ally sent me an email requesting updated photographs of my skin for their review in preparation for my upcoming virtual consultation. Replied to her email with photos she requested and some concerns I had.

No one contacted me for my appointment. Emailed LPN Ally again and did not receive a response. Tried calling Skin Health & Wellness Centre and was put on hold for 12 minutes then the line disconnected automatically. Phoned again and left a message. Their voicemail says they will return calls within 24 to 48 hours. Phoned again and Robin answered. This was my first time ever getting through to a live person. She told me they get hundreds of calls a day. Explained I had a virtual appointment at 10: 50 am and have not received a call. Mentioned they are in clinic. I asked why I wasn’t notified. She asked me if I would like her to ask the nurse when they will call me. I replied that would be greatly appreciate it.

Robin called back and informed me the clinic is running behind. They won't be able to call until the afternoon. Could not give me an exact time and apologized. Thanked her for checking. I let her know I had another appointment in the afternoon. She apologized again.

LPN Lauren calls me at 3: 30 pm. I asked to speak with Dr. Prajapti as I had a virtual appointment with him at 10: 50 am. Informs me they call within two hours of the appointment time. I didn't receive a call until four and a half hours after my appointment by the LPN Lauren, not my dermatologist Dr. Prajapti. She let me know he has viewed my pictures and she will be assisting me. He is only dealing with cancer and systemic patients. Asked why I wasn’t informed of the changes. I have been a patient of his for several years and waited a long time for this appointment. My condition is becoming more painful. She apologized and said it was a gradual process over the last nine months. Also mentioned there have been a lot of new people in the last two months. They can refer me to another dermatologist in their office. I said I would still like Dr. Prajapti as my dermatologist as he has helped repair my skin and I'm willing to wait. Then we discussed my prescriptions. Reassured me not to worry they will prescribe me until I find another dermatologist. I asked to speak with Dr. Prajapti again. I wanted to hear from him who he recommends and voice my concerns. LPN Lauren said she will check with him and phone me back.

A different Lauren called me and said she is going to contact my doctor and tell him they can no longer serve me as a patient because I was harassing and using profanity with her MOA's. I'm not a good fit and to refer me to another dermatologist.

I asked Lauren if they record conversations for coaching purposes and encouraged her to listen before accusing me of something I did not do. She rudely replied we do not record conversations due to privacy. Not once did she ask me my side of the story.

I had guests over. They could hear Lauren raising her voice at me while being condescending and were disgusted at her conduct.

It is appalling the Skin Health & Wellness Centre staff are willing to blame the patient, lie and not take any accountability in wrongdoing. Only after I voiced concerns I was considered a problem.

It appears this office thinks treating patients this way is professional, ethical and acceptable. If you have been referred to this office. I recommend informing your doctor of any negative experiences. Hopefully preventing it from happening to someone else. Fortunately my doctor knows I am a respectful patient.

COVID IS OVER. If you have that many doctors there and are short staffed, then hire some more help. Hold times are CRAZY - that is if you can even get through.
