DO NOT BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME AT THIS CLINIC
I had an appointment with Dr. Neel Malhorta for an extremely painful and itchy rash I have been dealing with for two years. I was so excited to finally be seeing a dermatologist and getting down to the bottom of it. Now after reading other reviews I wish I had never bothered wasting my time in the first place. I arrived at my appointment early and was seated in the waiting room for 20 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin and another 15 in his office before he came in. No greetings no how are you nothing, no questions asked about my rash. It was not present at the time of the appointment but I have two years of pictures. Dr. Neel took the time to look at one picture out of 80 and told me to come back another day. All of this within 2-3 minutes after a nearly 40 minute wait to see him, which I had to book time off work to do so. He was very dismissive, talked over me, rushed, and just plain rude. Not sure how he still has a job there after reading all the negative reviews about him. I will not be returning and wasting my time again. Very apparent he has no concern or respect for his patients

Dr. Jay and team at Skin Physicians on Cartmel Road in Edmonton, are highly skilled professionals. Don’t trust your face to just anyone! I checked out this team’s credentials and they achieve excellent results. QUALITY counts! Highly recommend

Dr. Malhorta is the best dermatologist I’ve seen, and I’ve seen too many. He is brilliant and trustworthy, however it is his devotion to patient care, humility and unwillingness to give up on even the most challenging patients that makes him singularly better than anyone else in his field. An exemplary human and doctor.

I was referred by my family physician to this clinic. Dr. Neel Malhotra examined my face and provided the diagnosis. Reassured me that they were not cancerous and can be treated with the laser. He took time and explained what it was. I then saw Lily, Technician, a pleasant lady who examined my concerns and explained the laser procedure. She did a patch first, also had Dr. Tok check a mole under my neck. He took a biopsy after examining it. I felt very comfortable with Proposed treatment by Lily. She is meticulous, patient and very much caring for the patients. Needless to say I had laser done today. The staff at the clinic are client oriented and treat you well. I highly recommend Skin Physician. Lily is a experienced technician and in no rush to get rid off you.

I was treated for Malasma and sun damage today and I was so impressed with Yolanda's services. She was so informative and kind in her care. She made my 1st treatment so comfortable and I will definitely be returning to see her for all my future skin treatments. Truly amazing experience. Very grateful for her care and professionalism.

Dr Neel Malhotra is always in a rush. He does not give good explanation of the situation. Even when I asked him questions regarding my situation, he gave me an unsatisfactory answer & left the room within 2 mins in a haste to his nurse who was far better than him. He needs to slow down & take time to give proper explanation to his patients. Very disappointing indeed. Is this about numbers or what?

I recentley visited Skin Physicians, and had the most amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff who made me feel welcome. Its beautifully designed, with a relaxing atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.
I received a facial lazor treatment from Marlene, one of their skilled medical estheticians. I was nevous but she took her time with me, and put me at ease by answering all my questions. It was truly a wonderful experience. Marlene was knowledgeable about the products and techniques she was using, which made me feel confident in the treatment.

I was impressed with the range of options available, and appreciate that they offer more advanced procedures.

Overall, I would highly recommend Skin physicians to anyone looking for a transformativ experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, and the treatments are top-notch. I can't wait to go back!

Dr jay is the best doctor in Edmonton I’ve been going to him since like 2019 or 2020 and every time my lips are exactly the way I want them to be. Satisfied every time I recommend also get botox and always exactly the way I like it thank you for the team always taking care of me.

I had a scar or unhealed wound on my leg from 2 years. I met Dr. Malhotra he was very nice and took the sample of my scar. After two weeks for follow-up i had a appointment with Dr Kevin Tou. He was supposed to tell me about the scar and how to heal it. At the time of appointment, First of all he was in very much hurry as he is very busy and then he said don't touch the scar for two weeks it will go away. LIKE MAGIC, Without any treatment.

The only thing i can do is laugh on this statement. This was the worst experience in my life. I am sorry this might be harsh, but its a genuine review. NEVER AGAIN

I’ve received laser hair removal from Lily for the last year and I was so sad to say goodbye after our sessions had finished! She cares so much for her clients and is truly one of a kind. She always makes sure i have a first class experience and always puts my comfort first. I will always re-book with Lily!

I absolutely love going to see Dr. Malhotra! I got referred by my family doctor to see him after going to get consultations from different dermatologists' offices. I went to see Dr. Malhotra for this mole I had on my forehead that just gives me insecurity. He was so patient, kind and informative about the type of mole, and the different procedures we can do. There are so many reasons I love coming here: the top being that everyone is so nice and non-judgemental as it's uncomfortable going in already for certain insecurities on my face but just getting the nice smiles back is so genuine and pleasant entering into the office, 2.you really get loads of information on the procedure you are getting from cost, to how everything is done and it's nice knowing that there are doctors who actually care and not just take your money and leave.last but not least; the office interior designs and esthetic details is just beautiful in there. It's always so clean, neat and organized with the pop of navy blues and nice matte gold details on the handles of everything with the French wall details. I'm all for details. I also went to see Yolanda the esthetician who was so informative as well for my after procedures on the mole incision.and the mini tour of the office.thanks so much guys! I love coming every time!

I am beyond impressed with all the services I have received here from Lily. Front staff was so friendly and knowledgeable.
I got 2 different treatments done today. They have promo going on for a peel! Lily made me feel comfortable, pampered and educated me throughout the treatment. We had a detailed discussion about my goals. She talked me through the entire procedure so there are no surprises.
I highly recommend Lily, she is knowledgeable, super friendly, and honest. She did not rush me into high intensity treatment.

I go here for botox and laser hair removal, they have great service and staff. Always making me feel special, offering me a beverage and little to no wait time after I arrive ️.

Dr. Malholtra is attentive and cares about his patients. I went to him with a skin concern that was really bothering me and impacting my confidence. He took the time to listen to my concern and prescribed me an effective and amazing topical medication. He carefully and thoroughly described how to use the medication. My skin is completely transformed and my confidence has improved so much. Could not reccomended this clinic and doctor more!

Dr.lipsch is an incredible doctor she really cares and she doesn’t rush at all she takes the time necessary to try to actually figure out what’s going on very blessed to call her our family doctor she sees both my husband son and I and I’m grateful. The nurse practitioner Danica, that works with her. We just met today and she was awesome! My son son really connected with her she was so knowledgable and fun to be around what a great team!

Was referred by my family doctor to see Dr. Neel Malholtra. One of the worst experiences I've had with a healthcare "professional". He interrupted me, was rude, and you could tell he wanted me out of the room as fast as possible and he doesnt seem to truly care about his patients. Very cold. I didn't even get the chance to ask him about another skin concern I had. He didn't ask me "Is there anything else I can help you with today", and instead I basically felt shoved out the door.

As well, I told him about some concerns with my skin and he briefly looked at my face with a light. He then wrote me a prescription for topical medication, which although I'm grateful for, I have NO insight on how to use it other than twice a week. How much product? Can I combine it with other skincare actives? Will I notice any irritation or side effects? I have no idea, I'm left in the dark. Gave me no opportunity to ask questions about the prescription, or even explain to me why that specific brand/dosage was what my skin needed.

The best part is, my partner went to see a dermatologist last month. He came home fuming and telling me about his awful experience and how rude the derm was. Turns out it was also Dr. Malhotra, and we were both referred by different doctors to him. I will not be returning, nor will I be recommending this location to others. However, the front reception staff and the nurse who greeted me in the room initially were all LOVELY, so great supporting team. Unfortunately the rest of the appointment tainted my experience and left me feeling unwelcome there.

This place is the best! I went in for laser treatment and Lily helped get rid of all my acne! She was very professional and accommodating! Thank you! I will be back for more skin beautifying treatments. Definitely best in the city!

Receptionists not friendly over phone, or in office. Long hold time with no follow up, so I called back as i thought they forgot they had a line on hold and then when i called back they asked to put me on hold again and I asked how long it would be as I already had a long wait time so she said "I have a patient in front of me" bluntly and placed me on a hold again.

Came to Dr Neel Malhotra several times but the concern I wanted addressed wasn't addressed they just said nothing is wrong and left it at that. Didn't do much to help me in my case. He didn't have a good attitude either towards me or his assistant the first time I came in.

Today my daughter saw Dr. Neel Malhotra, the dermatologist at Skin Physicians. She is a 12yo with celiac disease and several skin and scalp issues. Dr. Malhotra was informative, compassionate and his manner was truly delightful. The location was less than 15min from Sherwood Park and our appointment was on time! This was an excellent experience for us and I absolutely recommend this dermatologist!

It has been a long time since I have been to an actual skin doctor, these people are top notch. Personable, knowledgeable, friendly. I am grateful I ended up coming here.

The appointment was at 9: 10 and now. The time is 9: 20 minutes, and the doctor did not come. This is bad, because I have work, and I do not have long time to wait. It is bad for me. They answer that they stop the time to tell the doctor.

The worst experience ever I had in the medical clinic was the first time I dealt with a receptionist raising her voice on the client; we couldn't blame her. We blamed who put her in this position; you need to know somebody there to see a doctor. Otherwise, you will spend your day waiting to see the doctor; this is the second time terrible experience in this clinic, and it is not recommended if you expect a high-quality clinic.

Yolanda provided very good service. I had a difficult situation and she was just excellent at working through as well as consulting with others to ensure my procedure was working the way it should. Thank you for this care, Yolanda!

Dr. Jay Haubrich is a godsend! He has perfected exactly where and how much botox and filler to use for me. He delivers a natural appearance without any heaviness in the brow area and enough movement in my expression that no one ever notices. I get compliments all the time how young I look! I've had some bad experiences in the past leaving me with heavy eyelids and even bruised. I won't trust anyone else but Dr. Jay.

I have been going to Skin Physicians for over a year and most of my experiences have been amazing. Dr Malhotra for dermatology and have extended into the cosmetic procedures with Yolanda. The treatment teams are amazing, super caring and knowledgeable. The downfall is the reception and appointment reminders…. I understand they are looking into some amazing apps which will help alleviate the issues with reminders and hopefully the wait when you call. The treatments and care provided are excellent and I highly recommend this business for their thoroughness and skill. Hoping the front end has more support to become more efficient.

A GREAT experience!

So. I was experiencing hair loss such that my Instagram feed started showing me pictures of various FUE treatments. After consulting with a local doctor, renowned for FUE treatments, I began looking outside of Vancouver for other reasonable options. That's when I came across Dr. Malhotra and the team at Skin Physicians.

Without question, I am happy I came to this clinic. Their professionalism, experience and dedication to client service made for a memorable and rewarding experience. They did a great job of explaining the FUE process, common pitfalls, and how to achieve better results.

My FUE transplant was completed without issue and with little, if any pain. They were efficient, but still able to provide a high level of care.

In short, I highly recommend this group of professionals for your skin care needs, whatever they may be.

The lady at the front desk was great. The one I met in the room was very unfriendly and didn't even look at me. The dermatologist came in and just brushed off my questions and just referred me on. Not great bedside manner, was probably in the room for 2 minutes. It was rushed and I'm not happy with the experience. They both left the room without saying anything. I finally came out left. Awkward uncomfortable experience.

I was referred to this dermatologist by my family doctor to treat my woserning atopic and dyshydrotic eczema. As a nurse myself, I was disappointed in the doctor’s poor bedside manner. The doctor quickly looked at my skin and was quick to diagnose me with folliculitis and handed me a prescription for a strong antibiotic. When I asked the doctor if the medication needed to be taken with food — he was unable to answer, instead he responded by saying “the pharmacist can tell you. ” He didn’t ask me if I had any questions or any concerns. I brought up the worsening dyshydrotic eczema on my hands and he then handed me a paper of cerave products that was from a pad that was on the counter already, and said “this is what I recommend. ” The whole appointment lasted less than 10 minutes long. I don’t recommend this clinic to anyone with skin concerns.

I wish I could give 1/2 star rating. The doctors (Dr. Neal and a new doctor Dr. Tau (don't know how to exactly spell his name) are always in great hurry and barely spend more than a minute with you. They don't give any time to digest the information provided leaving you no time to ask any follow up questions. Appointment always feels very rushed and super fast. It doesn't seem that he genuinely cares about the patients. Most of the times, his answer to any question is limited to few words. My family doctor referred me here, but I am going to ask him to refer me to a different dermatologist.

Was referred by a GP when the GP wasn't sure what was wrong with my skin. Dr. Malhotra knew exactly what was wrong and gave me solutions. I got in quite quickly after my GP referred me. Dr. Malhotra was professional, kind and knowledgable. No complaints.

Here is picture how he clean my wart. He didn’t sterilize the wound previously and I didn’t get anything against the pain when he cut the corns around. He's not a doctor he's a butcher don't go there.

I can't possibly recommend Dr. Neel Malhotra and the entire staff of Skin Physicians enough. I had a hair transplant done with Dr. Malhotra and the entire experience from the consultation, procedure itself, and post-operative checks and correspondence have completely exceeded my expectations. Skin Physicians is the perfect combination of professional, friendly and competent.

I went in to get confirmation if I had rosacea or not, they could not confirm it. For treatment suggested a cream and avoid triggers which is what I already read on every website. Not sure what I wasted my time for and money. So not helpful.

Had a consultation the other day and it was very informative. The facility was clean and very modern. All staff, especially Salima, were helpful and professional.

This seems to be the most incompetent medical office. I was super happy to be able to get my mole removal done in a timely manner. However, once I was initially booked I was bomb-barded with 12 reminder phone calls about the appointment! Then the day of my appointment I get called that they need to re-book my appointment because "they are closing early". If you value your time & effort DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS CLINIC. They obviously have no respect for it.

I normally do not like to write bad reviews but this “Dr. Neel Malhotra “deserves one. After waiting months for this appointment, the “dr” was completely dismissive and rude. He hardly looked at my skin problem and told me repeatedly he didn’t “understand why I was referred to him”. Then I got it’s “above my pay grade” comment? Horrible bedside manner. Like seriously, he is supposed to be a board certified dermatologist. I then asked about a simple skin issue that I figured was in his “pay grade” and was blown off again and told to go to a spa? Do not waste your time and see an educated doctor who knows something. I went back to my family doctor and advised him not to send further patients there as it was a huge waste of time.

Dr. Malhotra seems very knowledgable and experienced. He cured my mom's four-year skin problem which she suffered a lot from. The many other doctors my mom saw treated her skin problem as eczema but the spot never got better with their prescripted medication. Dr. Malhotra said it was neurodermatitis at his first look and prescripted her a cream. Now the spot is not itchy anymore and my mom is very happy. She still needs to use it for another two months. Hopefully the spot will be completely healed by then. Both my mom and I are very appreciative. Thank you Dr. Malhotra.
