Great service. They charge a commission but I find I get almost the same amount as when I went to the depot myself. How is that possible? Pretty sure the depot was ripping me off and skip isn't.

Initial sign-up was very user friendly, the instructions for my initial pick-up were specific and accurate and the actual pick-up was punctual and professional (accompanied by a photo). All in all very easy and seamless. Having heard about Skip the Depot quite a while ago, my only regret is not signing up sooner. Thank you

I have skip the depot for the first time and labeled my bags. However the count posted was wrong and there are missing bottles.

I have given the feedback but no repo Sw from the team what so ever

They stand out. Their drivers are always so professional and kind. I used another company before finding SkipTheDepot. The difference is clear! Their service is customer centric.

Never using this service again. They used to be incredibly efficient - how did they become so, so terrible? We’ve been trying to get a pickup done for 2 days. First the service scheduled an order, we put our cans out, and they cancelled and rescheduled for the next day. The next day we receive a photo of a house obviously not ours, with the pickup driver saying they could not access our cans. Clearly in the photo it displays a totally different house number. The house number is that of our next door neighbours. SkipTheDepot’s driver could not be bothered to even look around. They put in less than zero effort to get the job done. Why do they exist as a company at all? Laughably poor service, totally inept and incapable workers. Just a head scratcher to figure out why they are bothering to waste people’s time pretending to offer a pickup service and paying for their website and phones to be up and running when they cannot and do not provide the service they offer. Why waste everyone’s time? Close up shop please! Cancel your phone lines and website so people are not tempted to contact you and waste their time!

Total scam! We had 13 full big recycling bags picked up at our house and were told it was 220 cans in total and $22 which is under the threshold to cash out so we would have to submit more to get our money back. I know it was about $100 in returns. Not worth it! Go somewhere else. Ripped off and done.

THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY IF ITS LESS THAN 25$. BEING ON DISABILITY THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN WONDERFUL TO KNOW BEFORE USING THIS SERVICE AS THAT WAS MONEY FOR FOOD. THANKS. NOW IM GONNA STARVE.

ZERO Stars. I will never, ever use this service again. I scheduled a delivery for Aug 4th. On August 3rd they emailed me saying they rescheduled my pickup for August 11th. On August 11th, they sent me a text saying the driver would be there between 12: 48pm and 1: 48pm. The Driver did not show up until 4pm. He also did not give me the biodegradable bags you are supposed to get at your first pickup. The notification says your bags will be counted within 48 hours. My bags were not counted until Tuesday August 16 at 6pm. Finally, I go to redeem my money and get an e transfer, and then they notify me saying that I will recieve my transfer as late as August 23. That is absolutely ridiculous. I should have just gone to the depot myself this was such a headache. Not only do they not give you a full refund, but they have awful service, they are unreliable, and are unable to transfer you anything for a week? NEVER AGAIN. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE.

Very reliable service with an easy to use app! Easy to schedule; app notifications are helpful in keeping you updated on the pickup. The big bags they provide for the returnables are very helpful.

Unreliable service. Please don't book with them if you are in a hurry or moving places. Our pickup originally scheduled for a Thursday was rescheduled to the next Tuesday, and they informed us of this change only on the evening of the scheduled pickup. As we are moving over the weekend, rescheduling cannot be done from our side! Moreover, if you live in apartment building like we do, where you have to carry all the recycling material outside when SkipTheDepot has promised to pick them up, it is totally not worth it as you will be hauling everything right back into the house in the evening!

No customer service or support. They will skim bottles from you. You're better off going to the depot.

Useless app. The drivers are extremely lazy and do not arrive on time as listed in the app. I do not recommend using this app because the entire app itself is lousy and unreliable as the driver don't arrive on time and keep you waiting for 2-3 hours while they slack off somewhere.

Took 7 days to get our counts, to me, this was after I sent a message to skip the depot it is getting very frustrating at best and about ready to take my business elsewhere this is not the first time that this has happened and it is unacceptable. We are an organization that helps our 18,300 members with pet food and 7 days to help pets in need with pet food is not cool. They are constantly changing dates and times for pickup, not only are our members getting frustrated but so am I. We are now a registered charity and still not getting our full amount for our bottles. I no longer recommend this service.

For the last few weeks I have had many pickups scheduled they all are being rescheduled for the following week more recently 34 cases were supposed to have been picked up and now that is rescheduled for the following week needless to say we won't get the 34 cases of recyclables now that are very much needed. Very disappointed in this service now.

0 Stars. Not sure why they ask for phone number but don't call when they are in front of your home. Obviously I'm not leaving trash outside my home all day.
