Skyfire made it much too simple and affordable to get solar power in our home. The detailed quotes, communications and manuals gave all the necessary information to understand your system design as well as take advantage of the Canada Greener Homes Grant.
The design team was top notch and thorough. Made it really easy to choose and trust them with our home.
The project manager, James, communicated and organized things better than any other home service/renovation company I have ever worked with. They took care of all the permitting, applications and inspections.
The installation happened ahead of schedule and took about 1.5 days to complete (in the winter). I am a Journeyman Electrician, and the work and materials looks to be of top quality.
Our system was up and running and saving us money only 3 days after it was installed. The handover was was very informative and I have every reason to believe they will be there if we need them in the future.
Like I said, it was way too easy. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

The solar system installation process has been nothing but amazing - from the initial estimate (s) from Shinta Pastor to the final installation by James Nason's crew. Our installation involved a new electrical panel which we were expecting a messy utility area afterward but the crew cleaned up the area like no one ever came into the house. Kudos to SkyFire Energy

I recently purchased a solar system from skyfire. I had gotten 5 or 6 quotes and met with 2 companies which were well rated and recommended. Skyfire on balance was the better value on the proposal and had stronger recommendations. They were able to deliver at the quoted price and completed the job in 3 days. No issues with the system performance since install.

SkyFire was great to work with they always kept me informed as each step progressed. Installers did an amazing job everything was so neat and Tidy and very professional. The city inspector asked me who installed the system I told him SkyFire he Said you won’t have to worry about anything they are one of the best.

In 2023 we engaged SkyFire to provide a solar system for our residence. Throughout the whole process from the initial project discussions and scoping to the final commissioning the SkyFire staff were courteous, competent, professional, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Further, they looked after all the ancillary details concerning permitting, liaison with the County and Fortis, and assisted with the application for the appropriate grant programs.

The installation was done in a timely and professional manner, even though the weather was lousy. Communication with sales, accounting and the project manager were excellent, timely and very clear. Expectations were well managed and fully met.

We’d certainly recommend them for residential solar installations.

Skyfire have been in renewable energy for years and it shows. Seamless processes and immaculate workmanship and rock solid communication. Skyfire additionally handled the permit process and grid connection with city hall and utility while keeping us updated on the progress. Importantly Skyfire provided DOCUMENTATION of these processes. Accounting were also very supportive and efficient working with us throughout with an excellent knowledge of government incentive programs.
Journeyman on the installation was highly skilled and humble. Not a trace of debris or electrical garbage anywhere. Install was two days including breaker system and monitoring. Coordination with utility for shutdown and turnaround of new bi-directional meter was seamless.
City inspector required numerous upgraded groundings on our 60s bungalows and these requirements were immediately met by Skyfires journeyman and inspection passed. The inspector commented on the workmanship of Skyfire crew implying there would be “little to look at” meaning there is a reputation of excellence.
Finally, the walk through of the system by James was helpful and the range of warranty coverage was clearly explained. Our monitoring is working and it has given us insights into our usage already. On the shortest day of 2023 we generated at least half of our energy consumption. Great job Skyfire.

So far very happy with SkyFire. Compared to some other companies that I also got quotes from I found their sales staff very responsive and knowledgeable. I feel they also generated system designs that were more optimal to my situation while also being comparable/competitive on price. Other companies were happy to finalize designs and quotes without visiting my house while SkyFire did a detailed 3D model and made alterations to the initial design and quote based on what they actually saw on the property. The install occured ahead of schedule and the crew was transparent with us at ever stage of the install and what access they needed and when. Overall I am quite satisfied.

We had an amazing experience with SkyFire. I am so happy that we went with them. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they were also organized, communicated to us often about the work and the progress of our project, and were also responsive when we had questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend.

Thorough evaluation, completed install in a few days even in the dead of winter, solar panels produce energy as expected.

Skyfire not only did a great job with the construction of the solar panels they even helped us to overcome some bureaucratic hassles put up by the planners of our municipal district. And we were especially impressed during the construction phase when communication was great and the installation proceeded fast. The ground-mounted installation was easy and fast. It was always a pleasure to deal with Skyfire staff and management, and the final 'inspection' by the head of the company was welcome. Skyfire also handled the application for the Government rebate very ably and efficiently.
Update: Four years later we're with the Solar Club of Bow Valley Power and we're making serious money. And we noticed that during the hot summer months the deer sleep in the shade of the panels

SkyFire installed at 6.8 kW Solar PV system for us last year. The process was well explained and executed. From the initial assessment to the installation and commissioning the SkyFire team was accommodating easy to work with. Would recommend SkyFire to anyone interested in residential Solar PV.

Skyfire had a good price, installed quickly and in the way promised, and even checked when things needed to be slightly modified from the initial plan. I would go with them again for sure.

I had SkyFire install a 7.1KW Solar array on our home. As a consumer, you have so many choices on solar companies, but SkyFire is the most reputable in YYC.

Richard took the time to provide a detailed overview of the steps and information for our quote, answer any questions. Skyfire was very quick and professional with my installation. Within three days panels were full installed and after final electrical inspections I was up and producing power to the grid.
