Super disrespectful and wired staff, they will discriminate against you on the basis of skin color and your immigration status. Steve is awesome to deal with but his boss is very disrespectful, racist individual, all he is care about money, if you ask any questions regarding apartment his answers are either rude or incomplete, i mean just resign if you cant handle it.

I would like to commend Amrit for his professionalism. He was always pleasant, helpful and sincere which made our move-in pretty easy.
Amrit was always available to us and the lines of communication were always open. Everything we have asked for had been addressed quickly and we were always made to feel like a priority.
His attention to detail, clear communication, professional knowledge and attentiveness is commendable.

He is always contactable and prompt in answering all the questions and organizing anything that needs to be done. I have been a tenant since a year now and it has been a great experience with the whole team (Bonny, Adam, Angel, Pam, Zoe, Rohit@skywardliving)

One of the best facilities to be at with great amenities. The units are always clean and the cleaning team makes sure you have a safe and tidy environment to live in each day!
Five stars for everything
I recommend everyone to have a look at the units before renting out anywhere else in the locality.

We had booked an appointment a month back (in March) for showing (as the closer dates were not available) but just a day before the schedule i.e. 20th April, our appointment was cancelled mentioning that they don't have anything to show or available. However, same apartments are available on all other websites and says "immediately available". One more thing to mention, no one ever answers the call, all call goes to their voicemail but no one bothers to call back. You're are lucky if you get through their renting process and find someone to speak to.

Terrible customer service. My lease at our old place is coming up for renewal and my husband and I have been trying to get a hold of someone for over 5 months to find an apartment or to see if there’s availability. Every time I call it send me to the agents in Edmonton which is useless to me and I have made 3 appointments which all have been cancelled by them for no reason. If there is no availability please have some common courtesy and at least let us know. I wouldn’t recommend moving into skyward living the management is terrible.

How many times do we have to call before we get a response? My wife and I have called Called numerous of times and our information has been taken. We've been told that someone will get a hold of us.it's been 2 months! Lease on our old place is coming up and not a single call from this place. If no units are available have the common courtesy to at least call back.

I had a appointment in a building across the street and I just went to 181 skyview to see the property. The building is clean and beautiful. The guy by the name Rohid working in the rental office showed us the building and it’s amenities by heart. It’s beautiful and deserves 5 star rating. Thank you Rohid for showing us the property by heart and we have decided to move here. Totally recommend this place.

Recently moved here, the building has lots of amenities which is great. During my move I met one of the resident care managers here, Rohit and found him to be quite professional and accomodating. This helped the process be even smoother.

The Skyward living building in Sky-view a best place to live and clean GYM, all the amenities. The Sky-lounge is beautiful and special thank you for Rohit and Ravinder professional management and maintenance crew. I personally suggest this beautiful building for friend and family.

Giving this apartment a 2 star just because the management people on the ground are good, they are understaffed and over worked. The apartments are very nice and has good on site gym, adults lounge and is set up quite well, the problem I find here is that in most cases you have 1 parking given per apartment that is not the case here, all the outdoor parking is visitor parking only, on top they went ahead and contracted out to indigo to give tickets to people who are not PAYING for parking residents or visitors [3 hours max for visitors by the way] then they have to pay. So if you live there and want parking it is $53 a month and tickets on top if you forget when your parking expired. It’s just plain greedy trying to squeeze more $ from there tenants and have a company like indigo do there dirty work for them as you can imagine they have worked out a split with them for all $ collected. The parking complaint for tenants never really did solve anything by involving indigo they just found a way to capitalize on it. So renters beware parking is a pain at this location most likely you will be parking on the street or paying $53 for the lot or $75 for underground as there poor planing has just made parking a nightmare in this area.

I live in the apartment 1313.171 sky view bay ne. And for the first time in about 1 year and half, when I called to discuss the parking issue, I have some one answered! A live person instead of an answering service or leaving a voice mail

The manager (ROHIT) answered me and invited me to come and discuss it right away. What a pleasant gentle man and very professional and Genuine. Very polite and happy and very eager to help!

I think sky view may have found the perfect manager (as I have gone thru 3 or 4 managers in the past year and half) and this manager ROHIT deserve a 5 plus start review and thank you for hiring a great guy! May be even deserve a raise!

WORST PLACE TO LIVE. RENT SUPER EXPENSIVE!

We only had a few days to find a place as the place we were moving in-in 2021 fell threw they were the only place we could find that was pet friendly and had an apartment for us. After settling in and finally getting a chance to talk to people we figured out that everyone pays different prices for the same things example- Underground parking, storage pet fees and even rent for same sized apartment.

I love that it’s pet friendly, it even has a dog run that they had to downsize due to construction but there was still a dog run which is nice, but they allow people whose dogs are not friendly what so every into the apartment building. They also allow non pet friendly people live there, people who are terrified of dogs, most times I had to turn around with my dogs and go a whole separate way from them. So is that really pet friendly?

We had both our vehicles broken into in the under ground parking and our locked storage. They didn’t care they would leave the garage door open for hours. (they will probably comment saying it was being fixed when it wasn’t)

We asked them to come by and put a new filter in the fridge when we first moved in never came around

I finally looked threw the reviews and the comments back to people are so rude do you want to be living in a place that is managed by people that talk back so rudely?

First of all look the at replies by the management for bad reviews.they are furious, I can see a big bully person typing in all the replies- This says a lot about the management how they would treat you if you were to rent here. I have visited many buildings in Calgary, Edmonton, BC and Ontario including lower, medium, premium and luxurious, However 1st time i had to pay for visitors parking.never and i say NEVER seen a building with paid visitors parking, the rent is already over priced for a very midean quality apartment building, don't be fooled by the amenities which you probably will use very minimal time. I would rather want the suite i LIVE in nice and rather then the amenities i will use sometimes or for some people maybe never

Pros: comfortable unit
Cons:
- was promised that there was an elevator I can use for move in, but the elevator breaks down on move in day and then breaks down several more times in a month. Breaks down for a week when I’m moving out. Management no compensation
- underground garage door frequently breaking down, compromising security
- worst sound proofing I’ve experienced; every step that the neighbour upstairs takes sounds like heavy stomping
- low quality washer that takes 2 cycles to get clean clothes

Not even deserving 1 star! We were looking for our options to rent in Calgary.
We visited our friend's place and wowwww, they have paid parking. The 1st impression itself of asking visitors to pay shows how they are ripping people off. I have been in Alberta for over 8 years now and clearly they are trying to ripping you off by getting people, renting or visiting, pay for covering their cost! They have amenities but Suites are so tiny and are over priced which makes no sense to me. You can hear neighbors talking, banging. I will pass this place.

1.i told them washer not cleaning clothes properly then they changed some kind of part in machine but still it didn’t clean and sent them pics of dirty clothes still after washing but they never replied back and didn’t change machine
2.i complained about noises coming from apartment above us and sent them 2 emails and also in person complained about it i guess the staff don’t care about tenants and they still ignored my issue and i’m still facing this problem.i’m leaving this building because of unprofessional staff

Had told them about a loud noise in our kitchen vent area in February. They said they'll fix it. It's now middle of June and nothing has been fixed. This vent noise is so loud I can't sleep some nights and is disturbing during the day. It seems like they're not taking this seriously. We've contacted them 5 or 6 times about this issue and they always say "we'll fix it when we can" or they lie and say they'll fix it the next week. But it never gets fixed

My experience is they take care you completely when your moving in, but once you've signed the lease you are not a priority.

Also the apartment isn't built properly in terms of sound proofing. There is so much noise you can hear from neighbours and the people above you. The previous apartment I lived in had no noise even though we had many neighbours.

My wife and I moved in here in March 2020, and we love living here! Since moving in we've made friends with other residents and felt welcomed by the community overall.
The amenities are awesome, and I love the events held by Dan and Amber each month. 5/5

I have been living in this place for a month and I am already counting the days till my lease is over. It has been a horrible experience since the day I put a deposit down to reserve a specific unit. We came back to finish the paperwork just to find out that they already rented our reserved unit to someone else. Fast forward to the day we moved in after paying more for another unit, first day in the apartment we find out the bathroom flooded after using the shower. They didn’t even bother to send someone right away…had to wait a few days till someone finally came in.

Most recently, they had painters in the underground parking and did not even bother to close it off while they were working. I had my brand new car that was only 2 days old at the time in there. Now it’s covered with paint droplets almost on the entire car. Confronted management by sending multiple emails, texts, and leaving many messages with no response. Extremely unprofessional, this isn’t a hit and run situation where I am still looking for who damaged my car. Yet, I still have to keep chasing them just to be constantly ignored.

Oh and it’s now day 4 of not having an elevator…

I would like to give a higher rating, but unfortunately the communication from management here has been consistently poor. Currently I'm waiting to get my statement regarding the damage deposit which is now 5 days late per the RTA and I've made multiple attempts to request it with no response on their end. I'm not sure if this is specific to this company or the building itself.

This has also occurred in the past, it took multiple emails for them to respond to notice of a neighbor letting their large dog go to the bathroom all over their deck. The dog continued to do so during the 10 day period which made use of my deck gross.

The cleaning on my floor was non-existent, by the time I left there were 7 separate large urine stains on the carpet from someone's dog. Management really needs to follow up on these incidents and vet tenants better. But that's probably hard with the multiple AirBnB units in the building which were consistently party spots.

I'm surprised they didn't have on site security, especially after the entrance doors were smashed open and a few times people were passed out in the lobby (past the secured doors)

The units are very nice and have nice features like AC and storage rooms. The events hosted by Amber and Dan are fun and a great way to meet your neighbors.

Great management, but noisy and dirty neighbours, they do not pick up after their dogs, the building itself doesn't provide good sounds isolation, you can just hear every sound coming from your neighbour's surrounding especially the ones above you, fortunately the management compensates for these issues.

Attended a viewing for an apt. Recently with Adam. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Impressed by the space and ease of travel, great setup, huge bathroom and food trucks! Thanks again, customer service here is truly great.

I’ve lived here for over a year and it’s been great! The monthly events put on by Amber and Dan make living here much more enjoyable and easier to meet your neighbours! Renewing my lease was so simple and stress free!

Although we have great amenities I REALLY wish we had a pool and hot tub!

We recently moved to this building.
Staff was very friedly and understanding.
They helped with the move in.
Building has a proper loading zone which makes moving in really easy and we got 2 underground parking spots which is hard to get is most properties as most of them offer one underground and one outside. Gym is really nice as well all the other amenities offered by this property. Ventilation in the building pretty good so you dont have bad odours in the lobby or anywhere. Only issue i want to address is that managemt did hard credit check which affects the credit score which i think shouldn't be necessary.
Just a soft check should be enough.
But overall i recommend this property.

While I enjoyed the people, the amenities and the events hosted by Dan and Amber, I have consistently been unimpressed with management. As one of the first people in the building I have seen them go through management change a few times now. There is consistently a lack of communication with the accountant department. I would suggest you keep a close file of all money interactions spent with the building as I have had to call them out on 4 different occasions where they have not provided me with the correct amount of money for items such as rent, change in fees, and a significant drop in security deposit. They were going to provide me with 300$ less as on their system it was 'by default' on their computer screen since they reduced SD fees later in the year. This is unacceptable. Unless you go in and prove what you have paid with previous transactions, they will take your money for granted. Also - always have what they tell you written down on paper as they have gone back on their word numerous times (renting party room expectations, waiving fees). Perhaps they are taking their extra money income they are taking from people and putting it towards cost for their new building.

And for the records: - I was never provided with the free underground parking. Please check with your team. I believe they are also quite novice like your accounts team referring to the case when I found out basic errors in your billing that you provided me. Nevertheless, I still insist all people seeing this review to go around and search for better properties! Have a great day.

Rich was awesome so helpful and knowledgeable when I was seeking an apartment for me elderly mom. He took his time with us, answered all our questions. He communicated effectively during the entire process putting my mind at ease. He displayed excellent customer repoire and a great sense of humor.

I've been living here for almost a year now. Great neighborhood! Staff and neighbours are friendly! Staff are especially helpful. Whenever I have a concern, they make sure to get it done ASAP.

Amenities are useful, especially the lounge! Social events are big here-a way to see our neighbours and looking forward for what's next every month.

My partner and I moved in the weekend before the COVID shutdowns and have been so impressed with the building and community here! The apartment life coordinators have done an amazing job keeping us all connected and organizing fun activities for us, and the building management is easy to work and communicate with. We are so happy with our home and are looking forward to spending more time in the amenities now that they are open again. Not to mention the building is very pet friendly, so a puppy can join our family soon! 5 stars is much deserved for Skyward

Not only were they 30 minutes late to the rental viewing appointment made with their sophisticated scheduling system, they had no interest in our business, they never sent us any details or communication promised during the viewing, even though they had all our contact info. So I guess that was an easy way for us to weed them out and take our business elsewhere!

Avoidable to say the least. The property is OK but management will promise something and deliver something else. The experience with the management has been pathetic and there are better properties, managed in a better way and at much cheaper prices.

Skyward Living is a nice modern and clean place to live in NE Calgary. The best parts are the friendly and responsive staff, and the amenities the building has to offer. The building has a gym that is a good size, very clean, and enough equipment to get a good workout in. Also the building has a number of pool tables and common areas with lots of light and nice views of Calgary and the airport. I would recommend living at Skyward, it has easy access to major routes in Calgary, such as Deerfoot and Stoney Trail. The team at Skyward also is trying to make it more of a community, with farmers markets, food trucks and several events for all to get to know each other.

Skyward living is like a vacation resort. From game rooms, gym, movie theatre, and sauna room. Fresh food vendors come every Friday so you can relax and not cook. Plus on Saturday you can get fresh fruit and vegetables from local vendors right in your parking lot.

Skyward Living is an amazing place to live; like no other the staff that is in charge of the building is always ready to answer any questions that I may have. They also implement a lot of activities every month in order to create an amazing atmosphere.

I absolutely love Skyward Living ️
The building has a family vibe with fun events each month and a pet friendly atmosphere. I absolutely LOVE the Skylounge! We hang out there with friends and watch the sunset while shooting pool. I’ve been blown away by how the building staff has cared for the residents during covid by supplying groceries and helping meet needs. This place is amazing!

I love living at Skyward Living! I appreciate the quality of the finishing in my apartment, especially the size of my laundry room! I love entertaining family and friends in the Sky Lounge and games room. My guests are always amazed at how fantastic our amenities are. I was able to cancel my gym membership as we have a large gym for residents to use, as well as a steam room. It's always nice to run into other residents as we are out walking our pets. And the building management, as well as our Apartment Life coordinators, have kept us well fed with Food Truck Fridays and fresh produce markets. We've also had FREE events such as paint nights, game nights, a Superbowl Sunday party, and my favourite, an online cooking class with a chef from Rome. If you are the kind of person that appreciates living in a premium building, and being part of a community where you get to know your neighbors, then look no further than Skyward Living. It's a great place to live!

This is a wonderful complex and the best move I made. Every one is so helpful and pleasant to deal with and we are very well looked after. I especially like the functions that Amber and Dan arrange for us every month - what a great perk.

Absolutely love it here. All the events the staff put on to keep us entertained and fed during this pandemic time has been outstanding! The community here is what I was looking for when I moved in last year. I've been here a while and I'm excited to continue living with Skyward Living. Thank you to the cleaning staff for a great job especially with the elevators. Thank you Daniel Bulton for leading your team by example and always being there for us when needed. Moved into the apartment 6 months ago and we are very happy with it. The location is convenient for us and happy with the building. The gym on the main floor is good and well used, while the lounge on the 6th floor is a nice place to play pool, have a drink, and look out to the mountains.

There’s a couple who organizes free social events, paint nights, game nights, stuff like that, which are nice, but during during since the social distancing they have been fantastic. They have organized a virtual cooking class, they provided the ingredients and a video feed to someone in Italy and taught us how to make fresh pasta and sauce, they’ve organized a food truck to come visit each Friday evening, and once (and maybe they’ll keep doing it) a truck came with bags of produce, fruits, etc for sale. Since the social distancing we really appreciate the effort & care the building has put towards the residents.
