Slave Lake Alberta

Great lake, town, and wilderness area change of pace from the big cities

I have a cabin here and it was beautiful this weekend and got to go on a lot of rides

Really enjoy this campground, but can't understand why a new facility wouldn't provide ice.

Beautiful. Caught some lake trout, walleye and pike. Nice beach, good boat launch at Hillards Bay Provincial campground. Alot of bunny's hopping around and some deer walk through the campground. Showers were good. And dishwasher station was handy.

Big private camping stalls. Public showers. Boat launch and beach are a 5 minute drive.

Alberta is a Beautiful Province and I've travelled it a few times and there are many beautiful sceneries along the Highways & Slave Lake itself is a small town but it has pretty well everything you might need.
Although I've never been there in the summer " only the winter " I willit it in the summer as it will make a nice family outing

Amazing but there was a bear there and the staff dident seem to care It came in to are campsite good thing we were sleeping but my uncle was out there and yelled at it and it started running anyway other then that it was awsome good park good fishing spot for a kid like I am I only have caught 8 fish in my life and here's the thing I caught 6 fish there it is a really good spot ppl really need to go there and fish also the beach is nice to relax on thank you for your time goodbye.
