My wife and I just took delivery of our new bed frame and mattress. We bought our last mattress at this same location probably 12 to 13 years ago. I feel bad but I cannot remember the name of the sales person who helped us. The reciept shows PHS as the sales associate. Nevertheless he was fantastic. He was really knowledgeable, friendly and very patient as we just kept flip flopping our decision. Recognizing that we certainly did not have the budget for a $4000 mattress he worked with us to get what we felt was a great deal within our budget.

I'll add that delivery was seamless. The delivery people were quick, respected our home and were polite. Added to the overall experience.

Gregg at the South Common location was ever so helpful. He found the perfect mattress at a perfect price for us! We opted for the Kingsdown Innbrook king-size mattress. Plush and well built.
We have slept on it for about a week, and thus far, we find it comfortable.

We made a purchase here recently and we were not sure what to get but Mr. Victor helped us out. Great sales person very informative, guided us whats best to get. Very satisfied with his service. Highly recommend Mr Victor.

Needed a comforter cover.nothing for under $200.in and out.got a nice one from Ikea for 90.

Aggressive salesmen. Went to look and salesmen was aggressive on buying today and guilting me on missing out on a deal when I wasn’t prepared to purchase. He was upset after I told him I couldn’t buy. Bad experience will never go back. Salespeople at WEM sleep country much better.

Very pushy. Seemed more interested in getting a $100 deposit than anything else. When he realized that wasn't happened basically just walked away.

I just received my king mattress fm 102 St store Edmonton and I had a very good shopping experience there. Thanks Victor for your excellent service

Basically, used car salesmen, sleazy, unethical, pushy, and uninformed. Avoid sleep country/endy if you actually want an informed buying experience. These guys will try to sell you garbage for the price of gold.

The two gentlemen working during the evening on Tuesday were amazing. (One was new and being trained by another) We explained to them what we were looking for and our price range, and they were quick to offer us many options! No judgement at all. Never imagined we would find such a fantastic deal at the first spot we checked out, and in under 20 min. Service was amazing. No pressure to buy either or to add on extras at the time. Just gave us some great quality options for prices better than we imagined. Amazing experience. Wish I got their names so I could have written and thanked them in this review. Would recommend this location!

Best experience we have ever had. Great deals and great product. Salesman set us up with the perfect matress and we are sleeping so deeply. Delivered and setup without issue. Definitely use this company again and this store!

Came in for the Buy 1 Get 1 Free pillows but the advertising online and the salesperson were both very misleading.price is per pillow and it's not any cheaper than what any other place sells them for. Will not be coming back again or recommending to anyone

Sales guy who works here is more focused on his sales play book then listening to what the customer is asking. Repetitive and outdated customer service.

I cant say enough about the team at South Common. My family and I dropped by to upgrade our mattress and the staff was knowledgeable and very courteous. They were great with our kids and worked really well as a team. We used this store almost ten years ago and had the same experience.

My husband and I stopped at this location a few days ago with the desire to use a $150 gift card we'd received from Sleep Country to purchase 2 Queen sized sheet sets. A salesperson asked what we were there for so we let him know we were seeking the lowest priced sheet sets available. He responded, and I quote, "Ohhhh, so you're people who are willing to sacrifice quality for price? " Taken aback, we simply replied "Yes" while going in search of these sheets ourselves. For his part, he located the most expensive sheet set and brought it to us, demanding we feel the sheets in comparison and then he asked "Doesn't quality matter at all to you? " Getting frustrated, my husband told him no, it doesnt and we explained that we have a cat who gets her claws in sheets and snags them and we're not about to spend $300+ on sheets that will show damage in a week. So then he said, "Well, I know you're here for the sheets but can I interest you in this bed over here. " We declined and told him we just purchased a bed from this location 8 months ago. He said "Really? From here? Are you sure? That's too bad because our sales right now are great! " Like, how did he manage to diss our taste in sheets as well as his own store location for having sold us a bed in one conversation? ! We informed him we would be taking the "cheap" $70 sheet sets we'd come for ONLY, and would be paying with our gift card. Not even remotely listening to us, as he rang our purchase through he tried to sell us an adjustable bed base and, alternatively, new pillows! What was to be a simple slip in and out in under 5 minutes turned in to a half hour ordeal with the guy practically berating us for not purchasing one of everything in the store and somehow for lacking class because we chose your $70 sheets over your $300+ ones! We absolutely hated how this person represented your store and we detested how he made us feel. Whatever commission this person has earned, he does not deserve any of it and I personally will no longer shop at this location.

The Bloom Mattresses are absolute GARBAGE. Do real research! I've replaced mine through warranty and it split open again within 3 months. 100% do not recommend. I'll be posting this wherever I can! I've had my mattress for a couple years and it's hot trash already and causing back problems because it's split in 3 different places. Take your hard earned money elsewhere!

Run! Worst experience in my entire shopping experience. I am very very disappointment about sleep country and I would never be their customer again. I have been waiting for a refund for over one month. I called customer service 5 times and everyone told me i have to wait 5-10 days to show on credit card, but I never see it. I think they do it intended to not giving me the refund, I complained to bbb and also credit card company, still in process now, avoid them if you can.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had, coupled with unknowledgable staff that were primed and ready to undermine their colleagues at the first opportunity. The mattress we purchased was not working out for us (Bloom Cloud 2.0 - the firmest one), as it wouldn't soften, and when I went to talk about an exchange, I was either only shown $7000 mattresses, or told that I was given incorrect information about my mattress (supposedly not the most firm of the Bloom line). Workers at this location were impersonal, rude, and talk about their clients negatively behind their backs when they think they can't be heard. I highly recommend not spending your money here.

We were checking out this store to ensure that the mattress we picked out at The Bay was a good deal. And the salesman confirmed it was as they couldn't even come close to the product quality and price point. Shop around!

Next visit in may22 - very bad experience with sales rep. The specific sales person acted so high and might as if he was giving away charity. Never goto sleep country- just a sheer waste of time. Why did I go - I regret it.

We bought a mattress almost two weeks back on installment and we're supposed to receive our installment card within next 3 days. Till date nothing in mail and now we have to follow up ourselves. Sleep country is also not bothered. The company contracted by Sleep Country is totally anti- customer. They did not even cover the whole amount payable buy us around cad 700, without any convincing reason, forcing us to make a 270 cad downpayment out of mere 700 cad as if we were buying a house. Whats the point of marketing such a stupid installment facility. Once a customer is committed to purchase they force u to pay upfront their this gimmick without any cogent reason. Never going back there with this sort of customer service. There was also confusion in the matress selected and delivered. ALL A BIG MESS.

We had an excellent experience picking out an electric bed and mattress. Tristan was very knowledgeable, patient, and he really took the time to help us find exactly what we wanted. We got an incredible price almost half of what we expected to pay. I definitely recommend shopping here.

I was gifted some money for a new mattress for my birthday tomorrow so I went shopping. I went to Ikea to check those out but didn't like them. I have been hearing the commercials on the radio for Sleep Country Canada and thought I would stop by next door to Ikea to see what they had. I really had my heart set on a Kingsdown as I had one previous to my current mattress and it was the best one I've had. When I went into the store I was warmly greeted by Victor who immediately brought me over to a Kingsdown without him even knowing that's what I wanted. I tested it and it was exactly what I was looking for! I bought it. I ended up buying my son a Kingsdown at the same time, just not a firm one like mine. I hope delivery goes well scheduled for Thursday. I'm disabled and I hope things go smoothly. I can't help carrying mattresses up and down stairs. I'm so excited! Victor made my purchase very easy and I really liked that. I felt assisted but not pressured.
