Very clean! Calgary burger is soo good! Normally i don’t finish my burgers, but it was so yummy and bun is fresh!

Nope, not good anymore especially since it was over $21.00 for a meal. Use to be good, use to be able to create your own burger now nothing. The burger bun was hard on one side smash fries that I use to love. Nope.
Plus there was flies.

First time here. Taste is alright but not worth 20 bucks insane.

I dont go out much anymore and when I do it's not to spend 20 bucks on a meal

I purchased 2 burgers with no sides. It was fresh and pretty good, however the size and selection of garnishes did not match the price.

Salty burgers, salty fries, just not something that we will be going back to, there's much better around.

Food Poisoning

We ordered food from here and I got food poisoning that lasted for the following 48 hours. I called and notified the restaurant and there was zero follow up, and zero customer service regarding the incident.

There is simply no better fast food franchise out there. The menu item selection, quality of food and customer service sets a very high standard that the competition would do well to emulate. The prices are moderately higher, however one gets what one pays for. The real deal for sure. Keep up the great work!

This location, have thick milkshakes, and have their own twist on their burgers. With the size and portions it is priced way more than the other burger places around the City.

This is one of the best burgers I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. The burger was covered in brisket and bacon and a barbecue sauce that was smokey not sweet, delicious pickles and all the fixings. Great tater tots and the peanut butter milkshake was so delicious.

Between this and the new Nashville hot chicken sandwich they have which is also incredible they have really picked their game up here, not to mention the incredibly nice staff that are always working here.

Nice to be back enjoying a burger in the dining area. Really like the milkshakes, fries and burgers. The two patty is a lot of burger.

As most fast food chain, they food is neither good or bad, just average.

The staff are quick and efficient, and the wait time was acceptable when ordering food on site.

If anything that could be improve is the staff friendliness but I also get it.

Just went to this place for the first time last week. I was greeted by very friendly staff who were able to answer any questions I had about the menu. I got my food pretty quickly, and everything tasted fresh and delicious! I didn’t realize this place has been around for a while, but I will be sure to keep coming back.

Was really surprised with the taste and size of my meal. Will deff be ordering from this place again and I do recommend it. Only thing stopping the 5 star is the burger was a little to greasy

We have gone to this restaurant pre-covid and still during covid, and finally got a chance to leave a review. The staff from the cashier to the girls cooking the hamburgers to the girl that puts all the orders ready in the bag are super amazing, very keen to unserue the order is right and complete before handing it out. Pre-covid the location was always clean and still during covid they ensure all surfaces are cleaned. The food always tastes amazing and fresh. Yes have to run home to ensure it does not get cold and have that grill flavor fresh, we do not bother ordering with delivery service apps we DO NOT WAT this amazing food going to another lucky family sorry. And in our area of residence this service apps are always missing the mark. So yes if you get a chance go see them order and run home you will not regret it.

Always screws up my order every location I’ve been too the man at the counter has to much to do and trying to it to fast to listen properly

This could easily be the worst Smashburger / restaurant in Calgary. I spent 45 minutes here for 6 orders. I asked for the receipt to be together and in one. So she does it separately and had to re-do it, even though I asked 3 times prior to her ringing everything up. The cashier, Annie, overcharges me and doesn't know how to do a refund of the same payment method. It seems like there are a lot of reviews with this location messing up orders.and low and behold, instead of applewood smoked bacon in my crispy chicken avocado BLT burger, I got onions and way too many jalapenos (for someone that can't tolerate spicy food). I ended up leaving without the refund and told them I'd never come back. Apparently the GM is supposed to contact me, but I haven't heard from her at all.

Food was Hot, Tasty and Served Quickly. First time at a Smash Burger and was pleasantly surprised at how many sides were available to choose from. I would personally go here over a fat burger or a five guys.

Ordered the Double Spicy Baja with Guac and Tatter Tots (which had some herbs). Was pleasantly suprised the burger had some heat thanks to the jalapeños.

You can dine in right now and seating is spaced apart to social distance. Cleaning could be a bit more frequent after customers finish dining.

Oh and the Water at the Fountain Machine is a little finicky, the employee behind the counter wiggled it a bit harder than normal to get it to work.

This is the best burger joint around. Great burgers the fries are next level competition to McDonald's fries. Staff very friendly and hard working. Worth a try if you havnt already.

If you like the American flat top style burger then this is a good choice! Super friendly and fast. The side salad is actually fresh mixed greens with nice veggies. Not the most inexpensive burger but you’re paying for what you get!

Been to this location a few times and always amazing service and food made on the spot so its fresh and hot.
Darn good burgers

Better to order in person, as we have had some issues with things like "no onions" when selected through Skip the Dishes/Door Dash. Not the end of the world but they don't pay any/as much attention to online order details. Great food though!

Went with three grandchildren during covid fairly early in the afternoon. Didn't try everything on the menu (only reason not giving it five stars) but what we had was pretty good! Regular fries were hot and tasty and the single burgers were enough for even the hungriest kid. Very nice to have the option of a small burger for the eight year old. Would go back.

Went on sunday to the Mckenzietown, first time trying Smash Burger, we went by my friends suggestion, the have a juicey burger called the Calgary burger, juicey, very tasty, i also ordered a poutine that was really salty but the staff were kind enough to make me a new one, really nice. Thank you

I've heard great things about Smashburger so when the preggo cravings for a burger an poutine hit I decided it was a perfect time to try it out. Unfortunately my burger was quite overcooked, I had asked for no mustard and it was smothered in it. The fries were not great either. I'm bumping a star for that milkshake though. That was a goooood milkshake.

At first when this place was new it was great. Then about a year or two ago, there was a few staff members dragging this place down; one staff members was eating chewing food in her mouth while taking our order& treated us like we were an inconvenience. During the same visit an employee (very large/tall caucasian man) took out his insulin needle & gave himself a shot right in the seating area for guests wearing his uniform & apron! We were so mortified by the staffs lack of professionalism we didn't return for at least a year and a half. Now its back to being pretty good, the staffing has turned over. They did forget an ingredient I asked for (tomato) on my burger, even tho it was listed on the order, but my visit about a month prior everything was spot on. The service is quite pleasant.

I can understand the current situation going on right now, but I was told they were too busy to take an order and then rudely hung up on. Very poor customer service.

We've been here many times, There’s usually a good experience when we’re here, today was my son’s birthday and this was his place of choice. They were particularly busy, ran out of dishes, I had to clear a table myself to sit down, all the tables were stacked with old dishes, milkshakes came watery and melted.
After a 15 minute wait in line and another 20 at the table, we expect the consistency that we’re used to.
This location’s quality has gone downhill. I’m guessing it’s another victim of Doordash that makes them too busy to care for the drop ins.
