Smashburger

Had the brisket burger with applewood bacon and it was amazing. The haystack onions are light and sweet and have a yummy dipping sauce. Truly delicious. The front end guy working there tonite was a 10/10!

Some good, some bad. Typically GF, though I have been hit once and another I know has as well.but I still go back.

Super sweet, kind and friendly service at the front counter to order. She was a younger woman with glasses and lighter brown hair, I wish I caught her name. I really appreciated her kindness. There was a staff member hollering at her from expo and she handled it very well and kept her smile up. Thank you!

Garbage service
Person at the counter couldn’t be bothered to greet us, went to the back and ignored us when we said hello. The food quality has gone down so much it isn’t really worth it but we needed a quick meal. Sick of the garbage service from this company and the food safety violations from their Sunridge location. Don’t bother with this company you can get a better burger almost anywhere.

First off, since when are burger meals for 4 people $60? !
Secondly, the burgers were alright - at best.
Lastly, the way the frustrated worker yelled at the person taking the order (a patient and very helpful woman who happened to be wearing an engineering ring and was the team lead!) was beyond outrageous.
I give this place 1 star for the delicious Smashfries and 1 for the team lead, but I won't be back to this location for sure and likely no other either.

I received amazing customer service from Harmony who was working the till.
I had asked her if their point system was working because I had gone 2 times, 2 weeks ago to a different location and my free entree would not be redeemed by the machine both times and still had to walk out paying full price and unsatisfied.
She was somehow able to get it to work and after paying, I had forgotten to add smash fries to my order and she had gone above and beyond and told me that I would not have to pay for the fries. She was professional, empathetic, and displayed the best customer service I have ever received at this location. Definitely made my day.

My friend and I came here for lunch today and I was quite happy with everything. There was only two staff members working, and the one working the front was quite friendly. She checked our QR codes/ID right away and made some suggestions on the menu. We both ordered the double Calgary burger and I thought it was delicious. I did read the reviews beforehand and do agree that the pricing was a shade high, but with the current climate we're in with food prices etc it does seem fair.

I would go back again. The food was awesome!

Was craving a quality burger with some fresh fries, got the complete opposite. Horrible customer service, was a ok, feels like I got the End of the bag of chips, cold & short. Burger wasn’t what I ordered but no time to complain as I was in a hurry. If service was good I wouldn’t of cared about the food but 2 bads don’t make it alright to me

The burgers here are not bad but I have had better burgers. Their Calgary burger is okay it's just another regular burger nothing too special about it. The double smoked bacon brisket burger is really good and definitely worth the try. Smash burger used to have a spinach goat cheese burger which they should definitely bring back! Definitely try the smash fries and the smash sauce, super good!
It's also a clean place and the orders are made fresh and are ready pretty quickly. The staff are nice as well.

Delicious! My favourite burger place, hands-down. I always order the brisket burger with all the toppings of the avocado club … so good! Staff has always been friendly and accommodating, and we’ve been going there since we moved to the area in 2016.

Poor customer service was waiting for like 10 mins just to make an order y'all need more staff for your till

I ordered 2 lettuce wraps, and a large smash fries. The fries are delicious as always. The lettuce wraps are an embarrassment. Basically 2 tiny pieces of lettuce covering the burger portion. The lettuce is soggy and both burgers look extremely unappetizing. Was expecting a much higher standard for of quality. 5 stars for the fries. 0 stars for the lettuce wraps.

Hit or miss. Have ordered the brisket, baja, classic, and calgary before. Brisket tastes a bit old and spongy, and patties themselves taste a bit unseasoned leaving the burger a bit tasteless. The classic I ordered a different day ended up tasting great, but on that day the patties were juicy and well seasoned. Smashed patties should have a slightly more crispy exterior and I didn't see much of it between any of the burgers.

My 1st disappointing experience at Smashburger! The food was barely lukewarm, both the burger and fries, the fries were greasy, the avocado was a chunk instead of nice slices! It seemed it was all carelessly thrown together! I have always had great food, hot, fresh and tasty and have highly recommended Smashburger but I will unlikely return myself! During the pandemic I have been very particular where I eat and where I spend my money. It will not be at this location in Deerfoot City Smashburger!

Lots of variety to choose from. You get what you pay for, so the cheapskates might not like the price. At Smash Burger there is quality in the meat, toppings and fries. The service at this location was pretty good. You order at the till and are provided with a number you bring to the table. Servers will bring your food. Then you bite into total deliciousness! My favourite are the Rosemary fries.

I went there earlier today (Canada Day) and enjoyed some very good food and excellent service.

It's was my son and I tried a smashed burger, thought that it could have been smashed a little more. But all and all, everything was very good.

Delicious and the staff really went above and beyond for my family just because that's how they are.

I come here all the time. By far the best Smashburger in the city I would recommend it to everyone great customer service great food very generous

One of the best burgers I have ever eaten! Not only are the fries and burgers completely delicious, and beyond filling, the shakes are by far THE BEST!

This is a chain. The folks here definitely run off some kind of corporate script in all of their interactions.

That said, this is probably one of the best, if not the best, gluten free burger available in Calgary. I have been here numerous times over several months, and it has consistently been delicious. I have not had a chance to try everything on the menu, but I'm working my way through the list.

There is even a vegan/veggie burger option if that's your jam.

Best burgers in the city. I know that this is a chain restaurant, but this is by far the best smash I've been to. The burgers are are cooked just right, with just the right amount of toppings. The Calgary burger is a flavor sensation. The milkshakes are also delicious, and I love how they serve the extras to you in a cup. If you are craving smash, make sure this is the location you visit!

Love this location. The staff is amazing. Very nice and polite. The food was perfect. The restaurant is also spotless.

Ordered a salad from there and it was great. Really nice portion size and great service. I did not expect a salad of this quality so that was a nice surprise. Employees were very friendly and helpful making the experience very enjoyable. Will be back to this location.

Amazing burgers, staff was a bit off as one woman was sitting by the front eating talking to the guy taking our order, and interrupting us as we were trying to order, but food was awesome and decor was nice and bathrooms we're very clean. Highly recommend

Went with my mother to this restaurant June 6,2019 around 2 p.m. Our service was fantastic, they gave us time to look over the menu (it was our first time trying Smash Burger) and after taking our order it was no time before our meals were on the table. We got them straight off the grill. I got a Classic Smash and my mother Calgary Burger, both with Smash fries. We both loved our meals, the fries were particularly amazing (crispy, hot, and very tasty and I usually don’t like fries), the food was cooked perfectly, and the woman that was working the till was fantastic she was so friendly and attentive. She even chatted with us a bit and when she found out we were in from Edmonton wished us a safe trip back. We would both highly recommend this restaurant!

Great tasting food, they always serve fresh and hot burger and fries, the Manager on duty named Nirma was awesome!

Excellent customer service and amazing food. My favourite place to get burgers and fries. Shauna is a great manager and very friendly whenever I come in to the restaurant.

I'm sure the beef burgers are good but I'm hooked on the mushroom Swiss chicken burger with a side of Brussels sprouts.

First of all, the service was great. The staff mead me feel like u was their only guest even though the location was 50% filled.
Burger was.ok. I had the BBQ burger with fries and drink. Burger was salted a little too much, but was edible.
What I received for the price was the unfortunate thing. Price was way too high for what I received. Value simply isn't there.
This is just another one of the growing over-priced burger joints out there.

Food was decent, had the bbq bacon cheeseburger and got home to realize no cheese, same with the 3 other orders. Burger was still good despite the lack of sauce so it was dry. Smash fries were overcooked and I got the bottom of the basket with all the burnt black pieces. Staff member who took our order was very quite and seemed to be confused.

Will try again in a few months!

Smash burger has always bee a favorite for me, the quality of both their hamburgers and chicken burgers are always extra juicy and tender, with so many options to customize it exactly how you want it.

Their newest side addition, deep fried Brussel sprouts, are incredibly tasty along with their rosemary fries, I highly recommend giving it a try!

We went with our 3 year old and 1 year old. Staff was super friendly, food was delicious. We were well taken care of and it was FAST. Highly recommend!

Great service (that you wouldn't expect from a "fast food" place) and a solid variety of burgers. Spicy Baja is my go to and has a nice kick if you're looking for that.

Smashburger is a great place to go and eat. Their burgers are juicy and hot. If you haven't tried it I recommend you try it as soon as you can.

The place is very modern and well cleaned. The people and the service is perfect and fast. The price is worth it and I loved it. It was more of a food place then a fast food place. It really was a great quality. Right in Deerfoot City it makes the place standout of the rest regular food chains. My first time but I’m sure not my last

Service was good food was extremely salty and very very expensive for a salty greasy burger! I will never eat at this place again.

Be forewarned - The Triple Double is NOT what it says it is. The description says its a Classic but DOUBLE the beef and triple the cheese and thats bull! What they do is put 2 CHILD size patties (2.5 oz each) so its a small doubke patty. Meanwhile, the Classic has a 5oz burger. The phot shows patties the same size as thw bun and the description says double the beef of a Classic.so it should be 10oz. When you bring it up and complain.they dont care and blame goes to corporate. They did give us another baby patty after some complaining, told them they should at the least tell the customers thats it's not as advertised so customers can make a proper choice.

If you want a lettuce wrapped burger, they only gice you one lettuce on each side and when asking for more that is like a bun size, I got 2 more pieces, plates werent that clean either.

However.aside from the Triple Double being BS and me prefering to hold my burger in more then 2 leafs of lettuce, I do like their food, good flavor and I would eat here over 5 Guys and Fat Burger. Love that they have brussel sprouts.
