Smiles Dental is awesome, they pay attention to your goals and help you achieve them! The front staff is friendly and Mike is a fantastic dental hygienist, I now travel 5 hours to see him and the team at Smiles Dental.

So far it's been good, no issues after my appointment.

Dr. Wong & Astrid work really well as a team. They made my appointment comfortable and uncomplicated.

Also, Astrid seems experienced and was very pleasant.

This is a year later (2023) with check up X-rays showing cavities in all quadrants. I had no preference on dentist and was assigned Dr Usman who on more than one occasion thus far has shown his practicality combined with compassion and great common sense.
Eg. This one does not need to be fixed despite the imaging. Prolonging the longevity of an already fixed (chipped) teeth
Eg. Today/Aug 11. Your left sided sensitivity is causing you to favor your right side. (He adjusted my bite to see if it helps) -why don’t we re-book the right side work in a month to let your left side settle down. Otherwise you will be miserable and hate your dentist.

We love smiles! The entire staff is incredible. They are so dedicated to ensuring a positive experience now, so that everyone has a lifelong positive relationship with their dentist. Dr. Usman is amazing with children. He explains things at their level, they know what’s going on/ what to expect and answers any and all questions. Their comfort and experience is of the upmost importance to him and we just really appreciate him. From the adults to the littlest, we have all been treated exceptionally by every person who works at smiles. Thank you for all you do for our family

Great staff. Very quick and able to make a time for you every time! Always working with me to meet my busy schedule, they always are able to make time for everyone.

We are unhappy with the service we are provided with the Dentists. My wife had a toothache and they said she needs root canal and they did but still suffering. They haven’t done the one she was feeling pain but they told us to get done another one. She is still suffering. So in general we are dissatisfied with the service.

By far the worst Dental office in Edmonton I don’t speak on the Dentist and DA’s but the administration is by far the worst you’ll ever come across! They are incompetent, biases and very dismissive to anybody on Aish ADSC or Seniors. I’ll be sure to make these rating drop substantially after my video goes up on TikTok you won’t get away with this AMANDA. I’ve also contacted Alberta Dentistry Association to let them know how you’re treating your patients.

Probably the best place I have ever bin to for a check up with the dentist I really think it's number 1.compared to the othere places I have bin in alberta this place is the best. All around its a ten out of ten.

Dr. Usman Mohammad and his team at the Calgary trail location were so caring and capable when I came in on New Year’s Day with unbearable pain from a broken tooth. He gave me options to consider and allowed me to choose my own plan of treatment. I was so grateful for their care! They gave me instant relief.

Just left a cleaning, efficient and fast and a great experience, great at listening to my “just giver” 2nd time at this location and both times I have zero complaints, everything I said was listened to and responded to from a horrible joke to a valid question, will keep coming back

Julie did my cleaning, I was very happy when she performed the work, preparing me for each step of the process explaining in details what needs to be done. Also provided the recommendations and instructions to follow. I would recommend her for my family and friends.

All I can say is wow! I had a really painful broken molar that needed to be extracted not only was I taken in the next day, but the overall professionalism of everyone that worked there blew me away! I had Dr Tan aka Danny I’ve never met someone that good and efficient at there trade he had the operation done in less then 5 minutes. I was almost in shock how quick it was I would highly recommend smiles to anyone looking for professional staff and doctors!

We are not regular clients of this dental practice. My daughter had an accident on a Friday night (7: 30pm) in which she had injured her mouth and damaged her braces. I contacted this Smiles location and was told we get her looked at asap. We rushed her in and they were able to have the Dentist examine her and remove the broken portion of her braces. The whole experience from our initial call to when we were treated was above professional. Thank you Smiles Dental and we are very grateful to everyone that helped take care of our daughter.

Dr Yeh and staff were amazing. Could not recommend a better doctor! They made the experience easy and painless.

Mike as my hygienist cleaned up my teeth very well and was also very informative on everything he was seeing with my teeth. The Cho brothers are great dentists. Very good at diagnosing problems and presenting solutions. I wish I went with this dental office years ago. Thanks for the great work guys and girls.

I've been with this dental clinic for years, originally I had great experience, had my crown redone there 6 years ago, never really had issue.
Other than their none stop text messaging and email for check ups, which was expected from dental centre.

Few months ago, I had a chip fell off on the inside of the crown, I went to the dentist and they told me that there's nothing they could do, they could not glue the missing part back or fill or rebuild with filling, they wanted me to just live with it.
And just wanted me to look into implant instead.
They sanded the end part of the crown to make it shorter so that I wouldn't bite into it as much.
At the time it all seemed like it made sense.

NOPE, two weeks ago, I felt a snap while I was eating, and not the tooth/crown is mobile! Went to another dental centre, they said likely the inside of the root may have fracture!
Due to the missing part of the crown, the tooth was not at its full integrity and strength!

And guess what, THEY FILLED AND REBUILD THE CROWN AND IT'S NOT MOVING ANYMORE!

Obviously I will still have to see a specialist since now the root may have been cracked, but this could have all been avoided or prevented or at least not worsen, if Smile Dental would have just mend the missing crown and strengthen the crown to prevent from further damage while eating.

Seriously, did you get all your funding from this kind of practice to build your new fancy location!?

First impressions - very impressed! Staff is very friendly and prompt, clinic is bright and clean. I felt at ease during my cleaning, and dental hygienist Michael was absolutely lovely. I found myself enjoying the cleaning due to Michael’s friendly demeanour and extensive knowledge - a nice surprise! He was very skilled and precise at cleaning, it was probably the most comfortable dental cleaning I’ve ever had. Will be returning to this clinic! Thank you!

Awful clinic! Don’t recommend at all. I went there to fix one tooth but they pull out my 3 teeth mistakenly. Reception and assistant are so rude and unprofessional. Don’t go there, they even don’t accept their fault and their responsibility.

Jim Haymore and his assistant were on time, actually early (huge star there) excellent explanation on what not to do with my temporary crown. The staff was spraying and washing the indoor crocks while I was there. Very safe place to visit for dental

Got 4 wisdom teeth removed at this clinic today and the service was great. I was terrified for this procedure but Dr. Jim Haymour and his assistant Nimmi did an excellent job keeping me calm. Very professional and gave me lots of detailed detailed steps for the recovery at home.

I would highly recommend Dr. Haymour and this clinic.

I went back to this clinic and get my 4 wisdom teeth extracted in one go.
Dr. Jim Haymour is phenomenal! He did all of them in 45 minutes you guys. 3 of the teeth were impacted! There was no sharp pain and I felt safe the entire procedure! Claire was the lovely assistant and she is great too!

I had a broken tooth at work in camp. They got me in asap. I knew the tooth had to be pulled but didn’t want to be awake for it. At first we decided to make another apt somewhere that did that. Until Dr. Yeh got hold of me and talked me into letting him pull it then and there that morning. It was almost painless and only took a short amount of time. It was the most professional, busiest dentist office I have ever been to. All staff were friendly approachable and for what it was, I actually enjoyed myself there the entire time. They have gained a new client. Will definitely be giving them all my future dental business.

I was very happy to have seen Dr Haymour again! After having him for 10 yrs it was awesome to have been able to find him again! I found the clinic very comfortable and clean. I had an emergency that I needed fixed right away. I had a tooth that had been bothering me for a while, and I woke up in complete pain and swollen. I tried to get into my regular dentist and they couldn't see me, so I called Summerside dental and they passed me on to Smiles. I called and they got me in immediately.once I arrived the ladies at the front counter were amazing, and very friendly. I was brought into the examination room where the hygienist got me settled to meet the dentist. Once the Dentist came in everything went extremely fast.both the dentist and hygienist were friendly, had a good sense of humor, and were very professional. I have had a couple bad visits to dentists in the past, and I was very anxious about getting the tooth pulled eventhough it had to go. The dentist reassured me all was good, and he wasn't wrong. Before I knew it the tooth was out, and stitches were put in. I thanked them over and over because this was by far the BEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had. I would recommend smile dental to anyone and everyone.

I had a bone grafting surgical treatment from Doc. Yeh, and Clare who assisted him. I felt secure during the surgery because they seem to konw what to do with good team work and proper flow. Also they were pretty helpful and considerate. I had done several dental surgical treatment from maxillofacial surgeons, endodontist, and implement specialists in both South Korea and USA. It was my first time visiting dental clinic in Canada and I think it was a good decision to visit Smile dental clinic. Hopefully my surgery area gets better and do implement probably in 6 months!

I called with a severe tooth ache and they took me in the next morning. The staff were wonderful and the Dentist Dr. Jinn was superb. He had to do an emergency root canal. This was my first visit to Smiles Dental Group. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend seeing Dr Danny Tan. He was very informative and personable. The RDA Francisco also made the visit very enjoyable.

When I called they made every effort to get me in the next day. When it was discovered that I had indeed lost a filling they fixed me up and got me on my way quickly. The Dentist was kind and thoughtful and the tech did a good job.

When it comes to going to the dentist, I am a complete coward. I had not been to a dentist for several years. When I am in a dental chair I tense up so badly that I start to have muscle spasms. And yes, there are tears! Normally, before a dental visit, my family doctor will prescribe something to relax me. However, 6 weeks ago a long ignored tooth ache became so painful that I couldn’t stand it. At 10 p.m. On a Saturday night, I called a number I found online (I didn’t even realize it was Smiles Dental). The young man who answered booked me in for first thing Sunday morning and he also gave me some very helpful tips on how to deal with the pain of my toothache. The next morning I showed up - scared witless (I was unable to get any muscle relaxants prescribed prior to this emergency appointment.). It’s ridiculous of me to be so afraid, since the pain levels of the procedures are absolutely minimal. I know it’s all in my mind, but that knowledge really doesn’t change things for me. My dentist, Dr. Kaur and her assistant were absolutely the best. Both were patient, understanding and also both were very good at their job. I came back for further work over the next few weeks and saw a second dentist, Dr. Wong, who also inspired a great deal of trust as he and his assistant were equally as competent, professional and kind. In addition this entire office is extremely well organized. Prior to the start of each appointment they advise me what to expect regarding billing (so that my budget isn’t surprised!). Appointments are confirmed via text and this office stays in communication with you to ensure there are no follow up problems. I, who hate going to the dentist, cannot say enough good things about this office or these dentists or the front office staff or the hygienist. I’ve said a lot but I need to make a final comment on one last thing - the pain. Other than ‘a pinch’, it really didn’t hurt!

I always dread the dentist but everyone here was so nice. I got a tooth extraction and one wisdom tooth removed and they made sure I felt no pain what so ever. I'm so glad I found this place. They also talk everything over with you first and figure out the billing for you

Today I got my teeth cleaned by a hygienist named Mike and in all my years of visiting numerous hygienist I’ve never met someone so attentive and aware of my teeth. It was reassuring to know the person cleaning my teeth cared and also educated me threw the process. I really enjoyed my appointment and I learned A-LOT in addition my teeth are super clean!

Excellent! Not the world's biggest fan of dentists (last visit was 5 years ago, bad experience), but everything these guys did helped to put me at ease.

I was impressed and fascinated with the service I received today with the staffs and Dr. Yeh. I was initially given the Smiles Dental Group a 1 star due to the service I had with Dr. Kaur. However, when I voiced out my concerns, I changed my mind. I want to say THANK YOU to the reception male I'd spoke with the other day. He was excellent in listening and showing empathy to me. I'd also like to give gratitude to Amanda. She resolute and resolved my escalating problem. Lastly, a BIG THANK YOU to Dr. Yeh for explaining every details of my complication. He really cares and has passion on what he does. I, myself work in the medical industry and I know the feeling. If the physician who diagnose and treats the patient with care, definitely people will come back and will refer to this facility.

After experiencing an accident and completely losing four of my front teeth, Dr. Yeh from smiles dental was the one that gave me my smile back.
It was a very long procedure to get four implants installed and fixed in at the same time.
Dr Yeh was very patient and extra attentive throughout the whole process which made me really optimistic and exited about the final result.
On numerous "emergency visits" Dr. Yeh took the time from his days off to come see me at his office and help fix whatever pain or dental problem I had.
I appreciate everything they have done for me there! Life savers!

Amazing place best experience with a dental office ever. I called for a pain in my left lower wisdom tooth. Amanda was an amazing she seemed generally concerned when i called to book and was able to find me an appointment for 8pm. Then later called to try and push my appointment for 7: 30pm when they found an earlier opening. The staff was super friendly and very professional. They completed x-rays and determined i needed my wisdoms removed amanda pulled up all my financial information and walked me through what it was gonna cost me and provided other options to lower the cost if needed. I unfortunately don't remember the name of the dentist or assistant as there was alot going on once i got there but both of them were incredible they had great communication with me and between them selves which made the hole process very easy and quick even with the complications with my one tooth i can not thank the staff here enough for what they have done.

I was having tooth pain and I was able to get an appointment immediately. The staff are very friendly and caring. I was informed of options and the procedure was completed quickly and comfortably. Amazing service. Had me in the next day for an infected tooth, the pain was unexplainable. Dr. Mohamad and his team had me in and worked on me. The next day I was having problems and they had me come right in and helped me again and the rest is history. He even called me at home that evening to see how I was doing. Who does that these days. Awesome bunch over there.

I went in today because of a chipped tooth and I saw Dr. Alva.everyone was really nice and he did a filling and fixed my chipped tooth.looks like new. I am so thankful!:) He was also so nice and asked how I was during whole procedure and made sure it looked good in the end. And it was fast easy. We will see how it goes from now on: D

First appointment was made out of necessity, but that visit followed by a second was impressive enough for me to continue going there with any dental issues I may have moving forward.
At a time when customer service is at an all time low,

Pros: The staff is generally very pleasant, the office is well kept, and there is a general sense of care. Dr. Yeh is very skilled and I haven’t had any issues with any procedures he’s had to do.

Cons: I wasn’t given sedation despite the fact I have crippling dental anxiety. I asked for it but basically was brushed off. However this was also during the summer of 2020 so they were operating very differently due to Covid so certain things are more challenging. I find that the front desk staff are hit or miss in terms of niceness but the hygienists are all extremely kind. Things have much improved but when I first went in, I was basically pushed through the line as quickly as possible and it felt like I was being ignored at times, but again, with Covid shutdown and then reopening, it was a hectic time for their office and things have improved. You definitely do have to advocate for yourself as I found myself having to ask more questions than normal.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! INCORRECT BILLING! INEXPERIENCED DENTISTS (IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT TO CALL THEM) I WORK IN DEALERSHIPS WITH USED CAR SALESMEN, AND I HAVENT MET ANYONE WORSE THAN THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE. BEWARE!

I went to Smiles Dental Group for a checkup with my jaw pain and they immediately took me in and we’re currently working on my treatment for a night guard. All staff and doctors were very helpful and kind. My dental cleaning appointment recently was very smooth and the best one I’ve had so far. I’m glad I tried them out, definitely will be going here regularly from now on.

So about a month ago I got an abcsss molar and went to get it fixed by a different dentist I’m not sure if they did it right or if something went wrong but 2 weeks later I woke up to the whole left side of my face swollen and in the worst pain I ever felt (I had a long labour with my daughter and rather that pain) so I called for an emergency dentist at smiles they got me in the next day after I was in the emergency all night from the pain. I’m not sure exactly what dentist I had I think it was dr wong but he was amazing I hate dentists have had horrible experiences but he was by far one of the best dentists I’ve ever had. The office was super clean everyone was professional from the front desk to the drs. Kept me calm with my crippling anxiety of needles and dentists (probably a little annoyed with me but I understood why) highly recommended for sure will be going from now as I got months of work that need to be done and rather him than anyone else do it so I don’t wake up with a swollen face again

Honeslty, coming to any dentist is scary. And I had some severe pain for days and over the holidays couldn't get into anywhere local to myself. Called and got in same day with Dr Mohammed and got 2 teeth extracted. All I can say is that was the best, fastest pain free extractions I've ever got. He popped out two teeth before I knew it and didn't feel a thing. Will be going back for sure! Thank you to all the staff for the professional, quick, clean service!

The dentist I saw, Dr. Usman, was very generous with his time in answering all of my post-operation questions. I can also attest to his knowledge by the way my treatment was handled. Would recommend him to anyone I know searching for a dentist!

This office is great! Dr Salwah and Dr Alva helped me fix up my teeth when a medication was making me clench my jaw and were totally kind and non-judgemental about it. And we worked within my insurance budget to get me fixed up

I had a cleaning with Michael and I don’t think I’ve ever had a more thorough and less painful cleaning. He even buffed away a stain around a filling on my front tooth! I will never see another hygienist again!

After my experience January 4th 2021 I will never go to a different dentist. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond to make sure a customer is happy and taken care of.
