Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge - Grande Prairie

Came in for fries to go on my break from work (Wich I do alot), no one to even recognize your there, not even 20 seconds after ordering I get my take out, get back to work, over cooked cold fries that obviously had been sitting awhile! Being a server for many years, totally unacceptable. Guess I'll be hoping over to the Casino from now on

Eggs were watery, I asked for yolk in my eggs, it came out hard, no bacon, absolutely dissatisfied

First star, Food was great!
Second star, staff was friendly.
There's only 3 problems
Problem 1, the radio is on multiple speakers and it is not sync'd so once you hear the beat missing by 1 second it's annoying
Problem 2, the place just opened and the men's bathroom stall door has a broken lock, and it hasn't been painted since this was the bar.
Problem 3 food service is slow we came and there was only 2 other customers, it was worth the wait.

For as busy as this restaurant was, the food came out quickly. Little loud, but other than that, pleasant enough. Service was good. Definitely will be repeat customers.

Service was okay, food was mediocre. My toast was burnt and the order was put in wrong. Hopefully it gets better since it just opened, but so far not impressed

First time dining here since it opened. It was very clean and tables were kept nicely. Our server was fantastic. She was super friendly and happy, gave suggestions from the menu and checked on us regularly. The meal was very good and presented nicely. I will defenitely be going back again. I would highly recommend.

TLDR: food was meh (not excellent but not bad) the service wasn't good but we got a waitress that seemed newish and didn't care to be there, I'm sure not all their staff is like that.

We have been to smittys twice now and honestly haven't been blown away either time. The food was ok, my nephew ordered soft for his eggs Benny and it came out med to hard. I wouldn't order the poutine unless you like your cheese curds cold and not melting on your fries.

The service, I kinda gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was just new and she could've been, but by the end you could really tell that she could care less about being there. Hearing her say "that's disgusting" loudly to a coworker while coming out of the kitchen was a put off, she made sure to say it had nothing to do with the food.

I'm hoping they get better as they are open longer, might try again in a few months.

Ordered through skip the dishes, food was all cold. I ordered the So-Cal eggs Benedict which is supposed to be vegetarian but it came with meat crumble all over, tomatoes were missing, the avocado looked like it had been taken out of the trash, and the hollandaise was gross. My husband got the Meat Lovers skillet which was okay but his toast was missing. Only gave 2 stars because our friend got the Crunchy Chicken burger which was apparently pretty good.

Super grateful for toddler friendly service. My little can be so busy at times but they cooled his food and had enough activity to keep him busy tell food arrived. Best meal out I have had since he started moving

Slow and excuses. Brought drinks in to go cups half full. 45 wait for breakfast food. Asked for a second coffee never came. Only quick thing that happened was bringing the bill. Won’t come back.

Hostess didn't greet or smile. Took 20mins to get a coffee. Had to ask repeatedly for jam, syrup, creamers for the table. At one point the waitress just dropped the bowl of creamers on the table as she walked by. Food was good, and came out in a reasonable time. Service is lacking.

Food was great, waiter was friendly although he did forget our spin dip. Was given a discount cause of it. Will go again.

Steak sandwich was fantastic! Service great, friendly! Waffle has great Grandmother's approval!

There's a lovely woman named Kelsey Schafer, who goes above and beyond the customer servicer! Very kind and caring person with a good heart.

Our waitress Michelle was so good she is good at her job
Their digital order system is garbage
The restaurant is terribly managed it took over a hour to get a fairly simple order out to our table then when we get our food it was cold the kitchen can't keep up there are way to many tables in there won't be going back there
