This place has okay service quality this hill is short and more oreinted beginners the staff who prepare the food are swearing and talking about stripers and other stuff, I found that quite annoying also their main chalift takes forever to get up, the smaller older chairlift is better overall 5/10 would recommend to new skiers

The lessons had my daughter 6 ski down the big mountain in jasper within 5 lessons what amazing and painless don’t try to teach your kids much easier for a pro in teaching to do it

I was surprised to see the ticket lobby packed with people during covid peak time. The line up moved slowly and there’s no social distancing at all. Not sure what the indoor capacity was but it was definitely inappropriate during the pandemic.

I regret not reading the 1 star reviews before I went there. Extremely rude staff and management. Please go elsewhere for your own sanity and a better experience. You are not allowed to teach your child even though I bought 2 full lift tickets for me and my son so that I can teach him to ski for the first time. We were staying in the bunny hill area because it was his first time. The staff and management demanded me to pay for their instructor sessions, otherwise I wouldn't be allowed there.
If you read all the 1 star reviews you will realize that all other beginners had the same negative experience. Your child is expected to be completely independent, otherwise you HAVE TO PAY for them to teach your child.
At first when I was denied at the hill, their reason was that it was unsafe for other beginners because we had to ski left to right at the bunny hill. But that's how you practice, isn't it? You don't just dash downhill like a crazy person. Then when I talked management their reason was that I had to PAY for instructors to teach my child. So if I pay extra on top of the lift tickets, my child will be allowed at the bunny hill? It's only when I teach him that he is not allowed? What a joke.
It's sad that we have to deal with this kind of bullying behaviour.
Please go elsewhere for your own sanity and a better experience.

Runs are short, but best managed ski hill in the city. Equipment and facilities are well maintained, and staff are very professional

The hill gets kinda boring, there isn't really as much variety of terrain and slope, compared to the rabbit hill or the sunridge. Plus the line is usually pretty long and you end up spending more time waiting than snowboarding. Makes up for it with great food.

Negative 100 stars if it is possible. I have a travel job. The time I could spend with my son is very precious. Today my 3 year-old boy trys snowboarding for the first time. We have paid 3 lift tickets. We were at the side of learning area (bunny hill). The staff said we can't walk on the hill. We moved to the carpet. He walked towards me and said we can't use the carpet. 3 peoples from this ski club including a manager were trying to argue for 1 hour. I am shocked the way I was treated here. I thought the manager was going to resolve the issue. However, the manager didn't even listen to what happened on the hill. The first thing came out of his mind was asking my son to join their training course. A very unprofessional manager. I am fully capable of teaching and would like to deliver this skill to my son, as well as having some precious father-son bonding time.

If you have children don't bring them here. They don't want you to teach them here. Extremely disappointing experience. Worst customer service in Canada. I hope this information help everyone make the right decision if you are thinking of teaching your kids here. If you already have good skills, this place is not much fun either. I know the location is convenient, but certainly a waste of money and time.

Great ski hill and good enforcement of covid rules, would have liked to not get accused of forging my vaccination documents, but having worked customer service I assumed it was a bad day for the gentleman. You do need the QR code vaccination proof and ID which I can appreciate. Otherwise great hill, great experience all around. Wonderful place to ski.

Honestly, this hill would be fine if you were practicing as the lift is longer than the hill, but a friend of mine and I bought full day passes yesterday and only stayed for an hour and a half because we just kept getting yelled at by attendants. Specifically whoever was working on the “intermediate” lift. There’s no communication for riders, we were trying to communicate with the single rider when he said “hello are you coming” we missed a chair and he made it seem like it was the absolute end of the world… Stopped the lift, told us we needed to pay attention. After he got mad at us basically each time we went on the lift, we decided to try the main one instead (because we didn’t want to see him again) where we proceeded to get yelled out by snow patrol for raising the bar to early even though we were half a second away from needing to be off the lift… We then decided to leave because our entire experience was a joke. I’ve been skiing for 10+ years. If I’m being honest I won’t be back here for a long time, if ever.

Great activity for families or really anyone looking to get out. Very beginner friendly for anyone just learning to ski or snowboard as I learned to do both here. The lines at the lift can get pretty long depending on the day / time you go so avoiding rush hour will help you get more runs in.

This is a Hill for kids to learn how to ski/Snowboard! Making Jumps is not making it safe for kids or New skiers! If you want to make jumps go to the Freaking mountains! I would rate 10 stars cause it is a great hill looking over the freeway! But the kids who are e making jumps ruin it for the new people.
