Excellent service and sooooo friendly. They had our sons skates sharp in a flash between his games.

Ok 1st thing is great playlists so didn't mind the mountain time wait while waiting for some help to rent an e-bike.

Much newer and nicer E-bikes then the other place we rented days before. Very nice that they have a dropper seat posts installed. Gave us some safety tips on wild life and trained us how to use the bear spray. Equipment prices were pretty reasonable compared to other bike stores even ended up buying a water bottle. The staff talking amongst each other sounded very knowledgeable on bikes and what they should and shouldn't rent out due to maintenance needed. If you are one of those adventurous elderly folks there is other e-bike rentals I noticed that may be easier to get on and off of.

Hired a bike for a couple of hours - was a great price, very friendly and efficient staff too.

My wife and I rented bear spray, crampons and ski equipment from Snowtips-Bactrax. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. They provided the opportunity for us to make the most out of our short vacation to Banff!

I booked online and they charged me a convenient fee which I wasn't aware of. I am assuming I made a reservation when they first added using the third party and at that time they did not properly added this "convenient fee" into checkout. I contacted them and told me they cannot refund which is shame. They should not charge people without their knowledge. Bad Experience!

My receipt clearly say total amount and there is no "convenient fee'" $0 deposit and total amount only (when pick up)
My bank refunded money and here you go 1 star for you! Hope it was worth it for your business!

Just had an amazing experience with snowtips-bactrax here in banff! Was sized and served by Bridie yesterday for skiing today. They have a partnership agreement with the Rimrock hotel so they offer complimentary delivery of our ski equipment to the hote yesterday evening.

Our ski plans got changed to tomorrow and they very graciously moved our rental up a day at no cost. I just had to drop the skis off and they will deliver them again this evening to the hotel. So convenient and accommodating!

Bridie's service was exemplary, she recommended the ideal ski destination for us based on snow conditions and my family felt very welcomed and taken care of by her and the team here!

Amazing service. I hired ice cleats, ice skates, snowboard and skiis from these guys. Super helpful every time, making sure I found boots that were the right fit, very reasonable expectations for return time, friendly and all at a price that beats most other places in banff. Definitely would go back!

Although the service was faultless and very friendly, the ski equipment wasn’t the best and I’ve had better elsewhere.

The process of getting skis and boots fitted was seamless and the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, telling us where was best for each type of snow activity (alpine vs.cross country skiing). It was also very easy getting a hold of the equipment, them being happy to deliver it to our hotel and even pick it up once we were done with it.

However, the equipment we had was not great. None of what we used came from big brands like Atomic, Rossignol or Salomon, and it was very difficult to carve through the snow on the fields. That is my only complaint, but it made the whole skiing experience a little less exhilarating than usual.

They offer a range of hire services beyond skis, including fatbikes. Just a side note.

As recommended by the visitor center, we stopped in to get bear spray. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in demonstrating how to use it. Thankfully never did and was able to leave it with Banff park staff at the end of our trip.

Friendly service and very thorough with our group to ensure we were comfortable on/with our bike rentals before heading out.

Easy to book, and gave great tips on routes to take for the best views. Got the tandem bikes but just a warning that although it can hold two adults, the back seat would probably be more comfortable for someone who is under 5’4

I'm so glad I found this shop. We rented e-bikes last week to bike around Banff and along the bow valley parkway. After some research, I realized many of the shops in Banff offering bike rentals did so on a first come first serve basis. Of the shops I found taking bike reservations, snowtips had the best prices. We were given two quality e-bikes in excellent condition and had a great time. The guys at the shop were super friendly and helpful, and they offered great tips for our ride and things to do in the area.

Man, the service I just recieve from Drew and his team was fantastic. Open, honest, and knowledgeable.these guys will build a loyal customer base, they got me.

Rented bear spray from here on a recent trip. All the staff were really nice. Only complaint is that when I walked in to pick up my rental, it was quite busy and I stood in line for 20 minutes before I was helped while people who had walked in after me to do returns of other things got helped. But when I dropped it off it was very quick. I'd rent from them again.

I've lived in Banff for four years and exclusively went here to have my bikes worked on. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Rented bikes today. Great service. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Definitely would recommend.

Thanks for renting skis in July to satisfy a bunch of folks who wanted to ski on Canada Day
