Sobeys - Village Mall

I was here to visit the Canada Post outlet but otherwise it was a regular Sobey's store

The staff is friendly and the selection is good. I really liked the addition of the scene rewards.

Store is clean for the most part. Parking lot and entrance need a bit of a fix up before someone has a big accident. Customer service from front end staff left a lot to be desired.

Not only did they have all I needed they found my DL and healthcare cards that fell out of my wallet and sent them to me registered mail. That tells you about how important their customers are to them. Treated me like family. So thankful.

The store layout is confusing, product selection isn't overly great and what's there is overpriced. Plus goodluck finding someone to assist you.the staff always seem to busy to stop and help, stressed, overworked and understaffed. Hope the General Manager and HR Manager read this and it inspires them to make some positive changes.

Pretty bad service. The clerk at the self service checkout was unable to communicate well, and then gave me attitude when I misunderstood her poor communication! Well done guys.

The last couple times I’ve been here it’s been challenging to find everything I’m looking for but this location is always very clean and presentable.

Used the Post office located in this store. It was extremely busy but they had two ladies working and they got the line moving at a steady pace.

Love shopping at sobe's the store is always neat and clean prices are well within my family's range and the staff are very courteous

I love this store. The employees are super helpful and friendly. Good products, good prices, and lots of variety as well.

This is the only place I know that carries Cream Crisps! Bonus points. Points lost for a very poor selection of bagged salads that were either out of date or expiring within 2 days of my visit!

Very nice people, isaac was a great help. He was nice, kind and funny which is a nice change from your everyday cashier.

A bit low on stock, not very clean. They have to have security in store to keep the riffraff under control so it's a little scary.

A standard grocery store. Offers a large selection and all items were in stock. Quick tellers and friendly staff as well. The produce and meat section weren't huge by any means, but you should be able to find what you need. Prices (in my opinion) were fair.

We came in around 7 pm, and when we went to cheak out a super nice guy named Isaac came to help us, he was one of the nicest people i met and he knew what he was doing which was very nice.

I was able to find the stuff i wanted to buy easily. The fruit looked very fresh. There were some excellent sales on ham sausage and blueberries. Staff was helpful. Hand cleaner was availabe in store and lobby. Parking was great.

Over priced peanuts and cold cuts I understand the pandemic but they been open the whole time no reason to charge 17$ for 250 grams of nuts.

Nice clean store. Well labeled aisle. Above all there is people actually working there that can help you find something. Also as a side note they have paper bags here which I think it's great!

Thanks to the girl in the bakery who helped me get the green icing I needed today. She deserves a smile pin. The young lad I talked to first was polite but needs to learn about above and beyond customer service.

Definitely my new favourite store in Red Deer. We are coming in from the States to self isolation and this was the only store that could /would help with our predicament.wish I’d tried here first but I will next time. Thank-you so much!
Things are and rightly so a lot tighter in Canada.

Well laid out and the produce is usually very fresh and prices are good. Only small complaint is the parking lot can be a little hard to get out of.

Fresh produce! Deli has way too many delicious items, daily specials and the butchers are very knowledgeable, I need that, never felt I had a silly question, they take their time for you and the cashiers remember you, impressed!

Shopped here A LOT when I worked at Nova Joffre on shutdowns. Ready-made sammiches (even order your favorite ahead of time) at the deli. Excellent option for the working stiff. Recommended.

Ok I have a friend whose allergies limit them from eating out and needed some snacks so that they could have on drive out of town.

I got a fajita kit-our compliments brand and it was mouldy. They refused to return it. It's only 3$ sobeys how about taking care of your customers. Very unsatisfying business practice.

Received poor customer service when looking for a few items. I informed the checkout clerk that I was unable to find the items. He tried to find a staff member on the floor to help me and he was unable to find anyone for 5 minutes so I literally just stood in place waiting. He had to get the manager to help me which ultimately was not that helpful because they did not have the items that I was looking for. Food selection is limited. They don't carry some basic ingredients like some particular cooking oils and vinegars. I went over to Save On Foods and they helped me find what I was looking for and they actually had the items that I was looking for.

Nice staff and they are very friendly. Accompanies you to the the actual spot on the stuff that you are asking/looking for.

I love this store even I think it's a bit expensive but they have the quality of all products, they have the best staff in the whole area the staff are helpful, patient and willing to help

Went there to buy a Roast Beef au jus for supper for my family. I then went home and found out that there was no au jus sauce in the container just a very faint skim on the bottom with a horrible smell. I then called in to see if they could have another made for us and they told me "no" and that there was nothing they could do about it. I then asked to speak to a manager and got put on hold for a half hour before deciding to hang up. I feel like that was unprofessional, and unacceptable to do to a customer.

The 4 litre milk jugs are 5.39 compared to 4.59 at Save on Foods and Walmart, the cashier said they would give to me only if I would show him a flyer and I said it was a normal price at those stores and he said they wouldn't honor it that price only if the stores said it was on sale the same went for the coffee creamer they price the identical at 1
. 39 compared to 1.89

Always go to Sobeys for their meat packs. Feel their fresher than other places I've been. Overall pricing is about the same as others but I take advantage of their dollar days and other specials.

Prices aren't the lowest but you do get what you pay for. Produce is usually pretty good oh, and the store is always clean.

It's a good store, central location and pleasant staff. You can always find some good sales.
The deli has good variety. A sushi bar with items made on site - fresh and tasty. 2 - 3 varieties of hot soup, daily meat specials, fruit, vegetable and cheese and sausage platters, plus a fresh selection of salads.
