Lovely store. Just too bad it isn't showing up correctly on maps. If you put in the liquor store you'll find it! They had a great keto friendly and gluten free selection for breads, wraps and snacks!
One of the nicer Sobeys. A shame everything is way overpriced and expensive. I get that inflation is soaring, but at some point it's just plain greedy to take advantage of consumers like this, while having a chance to be the change we need and more affordable.
Clean and well laid out store. Sale it's.clesrly marked. Took a bit of waiting to get help from the bakery but the young lady at the cash register was super awesome - she was very friendly, efficient and she helped put a plastic bag over the chicken I bought.
By far my favourite Sobeys/grocery store in general to shop at! I get my prescriptions from here too. The store is very clean, staff are friendly and helpful and their floral department always makes me want to leave with fresh flowers!
The store in McKenzie Towne has been refurbished and is looking great these days also! But I do like the size of this store and the huge supply of Deli stuff, cheeses and breads. But why can't they get the Apple fritters here like they have at Safeway? They are better than anywhere in the city. Still a great store here with friendly staff.
Nicer than the store in McKenzie Towne, with great service if required. Has everything you want and very clean and spacious.
Our local grocery store is truly the best. Always have what I need and more! Check out is great and I always try to go through the line where the sweet Scottish lady is. Such a lovely lady and wonderful part of my day.
I would give this store 0 star if I could. Absolutely disappointing. I typically shop at Walmart for my weekly grocery shop, but I thought I would shop closer to home this week. What a mistake! Prices are at least 3-5$ more on every item in sobeys than they are at Walmart, and smaller portions to top it off! Frozen blueberry at Walmart 12$ vs 18$ at sobeys. I buy lots of fresh produce every week. In particular this week I bought two big plastic containers of spinach. 7$ each, compared to 5$ each at Walmart for about 1/2 the size. I got home and the whole container of spinach is complete rot and slime all the way through. Iceberg lettuce looks good from the outside, complete brown rot all throughout as well! This is a huge disappointment when groceries are outrageously priced, and people are hardly able to afford them to begin with, now having to throw expensive items in the garbage and go to Walmart! Sobeys, this is not the first time this has happened! When you have Walmart and no frills providing better prices, bigger portions, and fresh produce it’s time to do better! Absolutely will not recommend this store to Anyone!
Nice clean new store. Today the place was crazy. I talked to an employee and he said it was like that during superbowl last year too, they are still pretty efficient and occasionally they run out of this product or that pr product but all in all pretty good
