Sobeys - Belmont

This location has the best staff ever. They are friendly, especially Jason at the front counter, and Kathrine in the bakery, they will go out of their way to help you out.

This is such a community anchored store and it's in the best location. Banks, drug stores and fast food like McD and Mary browns in the same parking lot.

I honestly LOVED this location until tonight.
Tonight I experience extremely racist profiling from multiple of the employees this evening, Triston and the Blonde manager. I came in to grab formula and a couple other things and browser around because I'm a mom who doesn't get out much.
As I was paying after being followed around by two employees and having one check the stock after I left the area.
I finished and paid and instead of getting a bag I put my items into my pocket, Triston said "I don't think you're allowed but his manager said it's fine because I am on camera.
I then laughed and said well at least I am saving a bag.
I was then let with the rude response of yeah enjoy your essential oils.
I didn't buy any so she was outwardly accusing me of stealing because they didn't "catch" me stealing.
I snapped and emptied my pockets to show I didn't steal because I'm not a theft. I asked if this happened because I was because racially profiled for being indigenous and they said they don't have to explain and that I must now leave

This is the best Sobeys location in my opinion.because of their manager. The staff are amazing, morale is great, and the manager makes it fun to shop here! I won't go anywhere else

Today I was going in to the store to see if they had what I needed just one quick thing as I’m walking in I get stopped and asked to put my purse in at costumer service! It’s a small back back style purse I refused as I’m not leaving my purse with people I don’t know or trust! And then as I was leaving I get stopped again but a manger.because I’m assuming my hands were empty (they didn’t have what I needed). Very in appropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable I will not be going back to this location

Jason is the Best! Tristan is a Jason in Ttraining. Jerry is a phenomenal owner/ community member

You overcharge for almost every single product in the store, you can afford to pay your employees a living wage

I would really like to give a massive shout out to Justin that was working the meat department tonight, September 6 that young man stayed after his shift just to make sure that I had the live lobster for my dinner tonight! That young man absolutely went up and beyond for me such a wonderful young person you guys have working for you!

Amazing vibes at this store! I had a not so amazing experience at the deli and the manager I believe (Rob) was an absolute gem! Made it right. I love this small town vibes store and will be returning

I enjoy going here for my groceries. The first Tuesday of the month gives the best deals. They are always friendly and ready to help if needed.

Greets customer with a smile. Humble local staff. Gives a lot to the community. Humble owner who gives lots to the community.

Customer service lady snappy and abrasive today when trying to exchange a product with a broken seal. Very unpleasant experience.

Rob is discremnating costumers. He followed me and my gf to the washroom at waited outside of the washroom and asked us what was going on. I hope he gets fired.

Everything's expensive. I don't shop here much anymore. H&W produce for me and Giant Tiger. I can't justify spending 100.00 more on groceries there. I buy meat and other things here. Grocery stores have become giant convenience stores.

This store has everything. Amazing staff. Thank you to the young lady I believe she said her name was lexi in grocery, she went above and beyond to find my product and even offered to chill it in the fridge so it would be cold when i got there. ️

Great atmosphere and service is always pleasant happiness and cheer never seen a grocery store with so much pleasure and always there to bring hugs or laughter highly recommended you paying a visit.

Usually I really like Sobeys. But the last few times I've been there, it's been pretty bad. Went and bought some peppers and an onion for chili and the red pepper and onion are both rotten inside. Considering the price, they can do better.

Sobey's a little more expensive and I come here more so because most employees are fun characters and mainly from the community and I know alot of them

My favorite place to grocery shop! They have everything I need there. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Would def recommend!
