I come here often to shop since it has a bit more variety in certain departments and in the deli you can get quite a few different Asian soups or rice bowls. Last time I grabbed an Asian dish I grabbed Japanese Tonkatsu Ramen, I've also tried the War Won Ton Soup, Vietnamese Chicken Pho Soup, Chicken Teriyaki Rice bowl, and also the California rolls they were all pretty good.
I was looking for some Raw Sugar and asked a young lady if I had the right stuff but I didn't so she showed me where it was, as well as some other things I wanted. She was very courteous and pleasant. If this is what I can look forward to receiving I'll definitely be back.
Was in Westlock.popped in to grab fresh baked goods.wasn't sure what they'd have.was great selection and very nice inside. Got couple things for the road while I was there too
I give you three stars because, well realistically I don’t know how things can cost what they do in your store compared to your competitors but there’s gotta be some sort of algorithm or pay scale that you guys need to accommodate but prices are prices and somebody especially during these times is going to go for the same product for a cheaper price elsewhere but your Store is always clean and the staff has always been friendly with me.
They tend to repackage older or outdated foods like delies or pasteries to sell cheaper. Last two pastry packs ive boughtened where hard n dry like rocks. I dont buy there anymore
There are toilets, but you have to get a key from the information desk.wifi doesn't work, The staff are friendly, You can earn Air Miles, There are various products that are discounted.
If the price is set per cabbage (melon, etc.), consumers will be able to purchase more reasonable products.
Rather than (LB/how much or Kg/how much), it would be nice if the notation method could be changed so that consumers could easily and quickly know the price of that one, or if there was an automatic scale that could easily check the price.
This Sobeys is located at a junction and is easily accessible. The store was well stocked like all other sobeys. The parking area was huge. Westlock is a very quiet and peaceful place and this is reflected in the shops here.
Well laid out, smaller store. Mix of great employees and a few duds, common in small towns. Good produce, average meat cuts, all higher priced then Edmonton. They are far better then no frills which are their main competitors.
Super clean store. Not sure if if 3 peppers should cost 7 dollars but hey, it's, Sobeys, what do you expect asides from high prices in a premium looking chain?
Very pleased. I am having pain issues. The staff was extremely helpful, took my groceries to the truck loaded them, and made sure i got in ok. Someone asked if i was local, and ordered to follow me home and make sure groceries and i got into the house ok.
Excellent service, reasonable prices. And because it's a local store, you get to know the staff and the story's strengths and weaknesses. Good bakery and deli sections.
Probably the worst Sobeys I have ever been to. They NEVER have the hot and ready meals no matter how early you come and do not honor the until 8pm or the next one's free claim. The employee my hubby talked to yesterday implied that my husband shows up at 7: 59pm just to get the free ones. It was 6pm. Lost my business!
Stafg are great and it is not a huge store so is wonderful to shop, get what you need and not have to walk the equivalent of a football field to get what you need
