I like to go to stores in Canada. They do have some many good things and you can also get pain killers and something like that in it. The employees are very helpful and nice to the customers.
Love this place! It doesn’t have everything since it’s on the smaller side - but pretty close! Staff are super friendly and I love the lady that works in the post office - she’s rad.
The very first person I met when I first shopped and moved into the area was Jaime who made me feel so welcome and at home in both the area and the Sobey's store. Jenn, Diane, and Tracy have all become persons whom I love to see whenever I'm in the store, also. When I walk into the store the atmosphere is enlightening, uplifting and energizing, which could be different outside the store. I love coming into Sobey's just to say HI and especially if I'm feeling down I feel up right away once I walk into the store and Sarah always makes me great sushi and ginger on the side! Thanks Sobey's staff for making my day, always in all ways!
I would just like to say I have shopped at the Sobeys in Cranston for years and have always found the staff so helpful and kind. I would like to point out one employee, Lisa that has always been so cheerful and helpful and I look forward to coming into the store because of her. She takes pride in her job and loves her customers. In some stores you feel like a number but because of Lisa I don’t feel that way. Working in Customer Service is always a challenging job but when you get go service I believe you should tell someone. So I’m telling you….
I have lived in the community for 2 years and I had never taken the time to leave my appreciation and gratitude to this group of people who are so cordial and friendly.excellent service.my special thanks to Penny. Very polite and happy always!
I just moved to the neighbourhood and my experience at the Cranston Sobeys was amazing! All the staff were great and Ginger in particular was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely my grocery store from now on.
People are nice in here. I like thier smiles. The place is relatively small but you'll find most what you want. I only see the proces littile higher than others
Nice store.weird sort of lay out and friendly, helpful floor staff. Then you get to check out. Long line ups. No baggers so super slow. Empty tills. I could go to whatever that other store is where you pack your own groceries. Good experience until the end. Then you just never want to go back.
4 bag boys in a group chatting about games while I struggle to bag my own groceries. Thought the overly high prices included a bagging service.buisness needs leadership. Oh also waited 10 minutes for someone at the deli. Not a quick shop.
I've never been to this sobies before but it looks like it was brand new. We stopped in on our travels across the country to stuck up on road supplies for our little munchkins. The sobies was very well stocked it was absolutely spot-on perfectly clean which we can all appreciate during these difficult covid-19 days. The cashiers were very friendly and the people that work the aisles were also quite helpful
Sobeys Cranston is one of the best sobeys store i have ever been here in Calgary. It has starbucks coffee inside that other store doesn’t have hoping to be back there soon
I live in Cranston myself so I know the store very well, and whenever I can’t seem to find something they are always willing to lend a helping hand. Super friendly staff! In all of my 10 years of going here I have NEVER had an issue with any of the staff or the store itself. Also there is a Starbucks inside which adds a cheery on top of your shopping experience.
Great store. The pharmacy staff is AMAZING, Mr Patel, Janice, Sarah and Alexis have been unbelievable in the way they have taken care of me through some horribly tough times health wise. Will NEVER go anywhere else. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Solid grocery store. They have 95-100% of the goods one needs to cook an epic meal! Prices are fairly reasonable compared to other markets in the area.
If you live in cranston it is a toss up to go here or save on across the Deerfoot.
Good choice of fresh and good quality food items. Prices are a bit higher than similar stores. Friendly service with quick check out when shopping. Parking is a mess.
Sobeys is my favorite grocery store but it would be great if I didnt have to finish cutting the silver skin or gristle off of every piece of beef I buy.
Great choice of fresh and good quality food items. Prices are a bit higher than Walmart or Superstore, however, that is for your convenience. Friendly service with quick check out when shoppong.
It starting to show its age. I go here because its convenient. The main reason is for the pharmacy though. All the staff in the pharmacy are pretty good.
Ryan is the man, always walking around smiling, dancing to the tunes, handing out stickers to the littles. No matter what boring job he has there's always a smile on his face.
The only reason I gave this place a two star review would be due to the staff. I find it a hit or miss every time I visit here, as you can either get someone at the cash register who is relatively friendly, or you can get someone who is not that friendly at all. I am a daily customer, and I find that some of the staff members can be okay on some days and other days, they seem to be rather annoyed with their customers. I understand that everyone is human and that people can just be having a bad day, but if you are having a bad day, you don't have to take it out on your customers. Other than this, I can usually find what I'm looking for and prices seem to be reasonable most of the time. If it wern't for the inconsistency among the service of the staff members, then I would give this place a better rating, but for the time being, I will have to leave my rating as is.
Nice clean store, well stalked, good employees. Has a bathroom, deli, produce, RX, bakery and much more. Lots of parking including wheelchair accessible too.
The cashier I had was very sweet. I asked a question about price matching the strawberries. She tried to call over her manager who was standing about six feet away to walking with her p friends. The manager didn't answer. She then tried to radio the manager and I watch the manager just turn off the volume. By then stated can you come over here I have a question and the manager finally came over. I asked about price-matching and she stated that Sobeys doesn't price match. So I stated I did not want the strawberries. The young cashier apologized.she also stated when she was trying to get her managers attention that her manager just ignores her when she asks for help. The manager also apologized to me for the inconvenience
I happened to come across a friendly nutritionist and manager of this particular Sobeys. She was ever so helpful in explaining the efforts made to improve and enhance the availability of organic fresh and prepared items on their shelves. More and more people are becoming diligent in reading labels and making better clean food choices for their children and families. We want pesticide free, and local grown if available. She was very informative and checked with other department managers to check for available organic meats, produce and canned goods. I WILL DEFINITELY VISIT AND SHOP THERE AGAIN. Definitely a step in the right direction.
I just happened across the amount of the donation Sobeys Cranston donated to the go fund me for Jasmine and Aliyah memorial fund - wow, that is amazing. Xoxoxo - thank you
Most of the staff are just talking, not aware of the shoppers that needs help. You need to get their attention away from their yapping so you can get help. They have 2 washrooms but only 1 works because we waited for the key to be returned. Customer service is not a priority here, its the yapping and chatting are what matters.
This is my regular grocery store. It's in a very close and convenient location. My diet contains alot of meat so their sales on meat are fantastic for me and they always have good prices. The staff is very friendly and always seem to be in a positive mood! Strongly recommend
Small store. I d9nt know what was happening the day I went there but I asked 3 people to point me in the direction of a product and all three told me they couldn't help me as they were busy.
