Best place in the neighborhood for grocery. Good price an quality goods. Vegetable are fresh and a good price. I find most of what I need in one go

Prices for Alter Eco chocolate are higher at Sobeys than London Drugs. I'll go to LD unless I'm in a pinch.

Regina A is an absolute allstar employee. She informed me of a bunch of benefits that I could get from the scene card that I didn't even know about. That was above and beyond. Thank you for your excellent customer service and for your smile and beautiful energy!

Very good located, parking available almost all the time, fresh food and variety, also average prices and a few promotions.

I had a chance to visit this location last week to purchase a birthday cake. When I request a lady who is usually working in the bakery section to write down the name on cake she simply refuses. Even though she was doing nothing behind the counter and was busy on her cell phone. Because this happened the third time in the last four months that she refused to decorate the cake so I asked the cashier to call the store manager. When I explained my concern to the person who introduced himself as a store manager named Lan amazingly he said I can't help you in this matter and you need to call our customer services and finally he walked away without forwarding my concern to bakery staff.

VERY IRRESPONSIBLE STAFF.

This store is amazing. It is so very clean. Shelves are always stocked. The customer service is excellent.

Excellent service, I went there for my canker sore it was very painful, pharmacist Sherman Sung gave me prescription to apply that really helped me with the pain, a few days after they called back and asked if the medication had helped. They really care, they take time to explain to you, to give you information you need. Thank you so much and keep up good work!

Very nice location layout is done well. They have an very nice international section. No just need to bring some more cultural meats to the meat shop and vegetables imported ones and they have added more clients in the area to there list. Nw Calgary does not have to many African or carribean markets in the nw. It would be nice to see some of the products and stores work there way to this side of the city.

Today I was struggling to grocery shop with my two young kids. This Sobey's staff are always so kind. The deli lady chatted with us and made my kids feel so special. Another lady asked their names and told them jokes. A man stocking pop smiled and talked with us. That was just during our shopping portion. During the checkout we had someone bag and ask if we needed help taking our bags to our car. In total 7 different employees helped us, made us feel welcome and it was such a great experience! So thank you Nolan Hill Sobeys staff!:)

Had to visit the pharmacy last Saturday for prescription meds. The pharmacist was amazing. So polite and helpful and understanding. Gave very good advice! Very helpful. One of the best in Calgary.

I just started going to Nolan Hill location. My last visit while I was taking my new mini puppy for a vaccine and stopped to grab a bread. I read all the info in the door before get it, nobody was at the entry to confirm if the puppy was allowed in the store. So I walked in and I went straight to get the bread, a minute after that a young blond lady started yelling at me very upset saying the the dogs are not allied in the store. I got so scare and left the store without buying the bread. Is hard to deal with this situation while I am under depression treatment. Even when I zoas going out she still looking at me as if I did something really bad.
That made my day very sad and I cannot understand why she just come to me and say, sorry but the puppy is not allowed here instead of yelling at me.

Make sure you check your hummus and other items with lids that open. I purchased a hummus from the deli and the plastic film was already opened when I got home. Quite annoying. Apparently people open these up while they are in the store, eat them and put them back on the shelves! Gross! I returned the hummus, but when I went to grab a new one, the same problem, the plastic film inside was already removed. Also, make sure to check your lettuce, for example the arugula I purchased twice had an awful smell to it and it wasen't even expired. Another issue, I have been waiting weeks for their oat coffee cream (not the vanilla but the original). I asked customer service when they would get more in and I was told 3 different dates and kept going to the store and each time they still were not re-stocked. Extremely frusterating! If you're not sure when they are coming in, then say that instead of making up dates!

Really friendly staff, great layout (confusing at first, but once used to it it's way easier to shop. Good meat selection. I like this Sobeys a lot. They are using direction arrows for the aisles. That is my only complaint. I find the arrows very annoying with little distancing benefit. Otherwise, it's a great location!

Had the most wonderful experience at this Sobeys today, from the customer service to the wonderful advice the cashier gave me on the latest deals I was thoroughly satisfied with my experience. The layout of the store was unfamiliar to me and after spending 10 minutes looking for heavy cream I asked someone in the produce section who while being busy with his job still took the time to walk me across the store and bring me to someone who was knowledgeable on the department. After my shopping was complete I had the most wonderful experience with Ayden A as my cashier, he told me about a whole bunch of deals which I could use to save money and get more, I truly felt like this place cared rather then some competitors which simply want your money. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area who wants a great local grocery store.

Like: most staff friendly and personable

Dislike: confusing layout, bakery staff can ignore you or hide in the back if you are at the cake counter (mostly), 70% of the time I find meat in the meat section that was best before the day before or that day.check wisely!

Nice, clean, well organized grocery store. Not usually very busy and quick to checkout. Staff is very friendly.

The layout of the store is very odd and with the arrows laid out the way they are, it's difficult to backtrack through the store if you forget something (I know why they're there of course, I just feel they need a little reworking, especially near the entrance). Otherwise, good selection of stock and the staff are friendly so overall a positive experience.

We just moved into the neighborhood and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Cashier was fast and we had no issues with the quality of goods. Everything was great!

Great place to shop very clean compared to other Sobeys or Safeways. Make sure the price of the product listed on the shelf coincides with your receipt because I have had various instances where it comes up higher on my receipt and they end up double checking the price on the shelf and come back telling me its a human error where the employee that put the price tag made a mistake. They don't honor the price on the shelf, so at that point you either have to return the product or get a different product.

They're always very well stocked, everything looks fresh and has a very nice selection. Also in a very convenience location too.

Not only is it close to my house, but I make an effort to go here because of the great staff and service. Thank you for always being great to me and my family.

They always seem to have the freshest fruits and vegetables and have a great deli with lots to choose from. I find they also have the best and most helpful staff.

Always clean and staff is very helpful and friendly! They have many products in stock I have yet to come and not find my product. Their a la carte is what you should really try! Greatly priced and sooo fresh. Oh and did I mention all the constant sales and air miles giveaways they have going on? Yeah, just a great place all around.

It is not vey popular place. I haven't seen a lot of people there. But assortment is great, everything is fresh. Staff is friendly too.

Everyone here always smiles and is extremely friendly, helpful, and caring. They treat us like family even though we just moved here. Environments like this is what makes people continually coming back.

I like to shop here when I am low on grocery, one thing though, would the management consider adding a Starbucks in this location? I am not sure it will thrive considering the residential area.

I went to get ceaser salad today, at Nolan Hill Sobeys. I’m very disappointed to see that ceaser salad pre made bags have bacon, and salad made in house have bacon as well.
They should be making ceaser salad without bacon for customers like me, who don’t eat bacon because of religion.

Very positive and happy staff, very clean and organized store. They also have unique items that others do not.

The set up is very different than others I have shopped at. I think the flow of the shop is very good. The product is always fresh and the people that work there are very helpful and friendly.

My fav sobeys so far, close to my house, everything is fresh, they lack of asian stuff but it doesn’t bother me

I also think the bakery is repackaging food. I bought cupcakes recently that were dated day of but the icing was dry and hard. If this keeps up I'm going to call CBC go public, maybe they'll do an undercover investigation!

The cashier's here are always friendly. The people who work in the pharmacy are fantastic as well. Always an overall good experience shopping here!

I'm a regular shopper at the Sage Hill location. I believe wholeheartedly that the bakery has been changing dates on their fresh food items. I just bought cookies that were apparently packed today but they're hard as rocks. I buy these cookies often and they're usually not hard like this.

What a nice grocery store. Smooth polished floors. Great selection. Layout is perfect. New and modern.

This is quite a nice Sobeys and one of the only grocery stores I shop at these days. It's always quiet and uncrowded, and the staff are always very friendly. There is also plenty of parking and the parking lot is easy to navigate. Honestly I'd rather pay a bit more to shop here than go to, for example, the Superstore on Sarcee Trail, but I live quite close and this location is very convenient. The pharmacy staff are also friendly, but one of the two times I used this service I was accidentally overcharged, so do look out for that if you get a prescription filled.

I appreciate that they're always well stocked. I may have experienced twice when they didn't have what I was looking for but most of the time, no problem. Customer service is great, staff are friendly and helpful!

A very good convenient store in my neighborhood, clean, neat, tidy, with certain products on promotions starting every Friday. Deli, seafood, bakery, produce, grocery, meat etc.departments, pharmacy, gas station, liquor store

Love this Sobey's. Clean, tidy and very spacious. They have small shopping cart our toddler loves to push.

Produce manager needs new glasses. Can't find the plethora of mold on the produce. I've seen him walking around, looking at produce, and I filled behind and found 5 mold covered items. No attention to detail and customer safety. It's ruining the entire store and we are being forced to shop elsewhere.
