Sobeys - Walker

Always well stocked and clean, a pleasure to shop in. Fresher produce than Superstore and Walmart.

The store was very clean and organized, Joshua took the time to help me find what I needed, 5 stars for this young lad.

The pharmacy was also very efficient and answered all my questions.

Very expensive.
Good produce.
But way over priced these days
Go get your groceries somewhere else and only get their produce
All The cashier's were waiting up front
By their isles it was weird no line ups at all

While I loved shopping here because of their selection.
Today December 29 2022 I was treated as a criminal, I got asked to see the receipt at self checkout because “ sava? ” I think her name was, didn’t believe I paid for my “ cake and other groceries “ yet I clearly had a receipt in hand with my other bags.
She didn’t ask to see anyone else receipt just the only white girl checking out … AKA me.
I was embarrassed because everyone was looking at me as if I was stealing.

The employee was discriminating me and was very ignorant when I asked her why she needed to see my receipt as she blocked my walking path.

I’ll never shop here again, never was treated like this before and won’t shop at a place that discriminates or stereo types people.

I hope she felt stupid after I showed her my receipt.clearly I paid for my stuff great detective work there “ Sava “.

Great location, friendly staff, and clean location. By far the best ran Sobeys in Edmonton.:) Very ideal grocery store. Produce selection is always the best of the best!

SOBEYS Walker is a corporate store with an extensive supplement section featuring Prairie Naturals, and other natural health products. While their hot food section does not have creative options like their franchise cousins, they’re consistent and reliable in a pinch.

You’ll also notice that their inventory tends to be better stocked than franchise stores for some reason.

Produce is good but is available elsewhere also.marked up the cakes a lot for father's day.cake looked beautiful and for the price it charged, it also didn't feel fresh.the layers inside were not very fresh

Sells near expired meat and deli sandwiches at full price, but has A pizza kitchen that nobody uses, so I guess they're high end?

The Pharmacists are really friendly and helpful, not to mention really knowledgable too. Lots of selection usually and the produce is always fresh. The ready-to-eat rotisserie chickens are my favourite. The checkout counters are not too busy in the later parts of the day when i usually go and they are doing a great job keeping everything sanitized and safe. There is also a Starbucks inside for refreshments.

This Sobeys is one of the most complete stores I’ve been. It is so organized and well stocked that even they offer items you will only see in specialized stores. There recently open a pretty good international isle that has everything you will need to prepare meals from other countries

Aside from having a wonderful store to shop at, I wanted to provide a review for the Pharmacy team at this location.

I don't live in the area anymore but I'll drive all the way out there to get my prescription meds because the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable.

I feel well taken care of by the staff (Tara & Nimi (sp?) and the rest of the team that works at this location.

The International Foods section is pretty nice too:)

Lots of variety especially for natural foods and vegetarian options. Very clean and the staff is pretty nice. We enjoy a calm shopping experience here.

I always like this location. It's close to home and the selection in the meat department is always good.

This is by far the CLEANEST most tidy and well organized grocery store I've ever been to. Extremely clean and sanitary it's my recently new favourite go-to grocery store atm! Love it here

Very nice store compared to the Rusian communist eara Sobey's on 34th street. I will travel extra kilometers to come to this one.

It was so chaotic inside this store and the cashiers always seem to be rushing you through. I highly doubt this location is respecting the capacity limitations during the lockdowns.

Much better and less painful service than werr i used to go to before. All equipment is top op the line.

I want to thank all the hardworking staff at Sobeys Walker Lakes for creating a safe, welcoming environment to get groveries. The staff welcoming customers do a great job of sanitizing baskets and carts while greeting people! The produce is always very fresh compared to a lot of places I go! Meat deals are actually insane sometimes. Best in town, no joke. The natural section is a dream for me since I had to start eating low-FODMAP. They do a great job sourcing local, ethically sourced products and keeping the selection exciting. Surprisingly thorough international aisle considering it's only one aisle! I love this grocery store, it has been amazing since moving to summerside and where I go most even though the Walmart is nearby. It's just that much better of an experience. I really want to emphasize how much I appreciate all the staff at this location, you guys make the experience as great as it is!

Best market. The staff in every department have a very good service attitude。vegetable.meat department and seafood department Staff are very helpful.

I must say a warm place and also carries some groceries which you can't find other regular store in competition. The bulk collection of nuts is also great. Some bakery items which you can't find at other stores. So yes it's a good one.

Sunday Aug 30, about 1: 00 pm, #9 checkout. The woman was extremely rude.she shouldn't be in customer service. Lazy, sarcastic, very condescending. I occasionally shop here, I will remember her.if I am unfortunately stuck in her check out, if her disposition is the same, immediately reporting her.
