The produce department is set up poorly. If you don't know the store, you would think they don't have green onions, bagged carrots, and 9several other items. Staff is friendly. Prices are high compared with other stores in the city.
I have been a regular shopper at this Sobeys since it was built. Originally it offered great deals but somehow, not so much anymore. Day old bakery items are still marked at full price, bad, expired packaged produce and meat specials advertised but not available. Most prices there are easily well above average.
Good store with a decent selection of fresh foods, more dairy and meat selection. Layout is nice and open and the pricing isn't too expensive depending on what you're looking at. Parking isn't too bad either.
Yep this sure was a grocery store. The staff were nice enough and they had groceries. I will go here the next time they are on my path and I need groceries.
This is my favorite place to pick up groceries. I feel like its your own place and everyone is family here. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. The selection is great for the small place it is. I also enjoy the new look in the produce department. It looks great
The worst customer service in any grocery store ever. Everyone avoids customers and work, you wait and wait and wait, and get back in line to ask for another page. Can't find a manager either. Surprised anyone shops there at all. They are close in proximity but not my regular grocery store. Just thought I would pick up a few necessities and flyer specials. Not worth the touted 'savings'.
I've been going to this grocery store for years, and everytime I go there feel welcome and at home. It's nice to go to a store where there's consistency in the staff and the service they provide. Thank you Sobeys uplands.
Very well put together, kind employees and lots of variety in food. I especially love it when they give out samples of cheese and pastries. The only downside is that most days there are only 1-2 tills open at a time
Great service by produce manager. Ask what this huge brown gourde was and not only told me, offered to allow me to try a piece. Bought a piece of this unusual fruit called jack fruit from India. Top service from this employee. Well done and I’ll not ever be concerned about asking about products they sell again. Thanks for the introduction to new things.
Grabbed some groceries here while travelling, had an issue with a tray but there wasn’t a staff member around to assist. Their selection of trays was limited but perhaps caught them at a bad time before they were able to replenish stock.
Had good deals when we went in but some things are pricey for our liking. We only go here sometimes to get things we need in the moment and if it's only a few items.
I was looking for egg nog on Christmas eve and this was the only store in the city that had any in stock, and it was fresh. This is a bright store with friendly staff and an excellent bakery.
This Sobey's supermarket in North Lethbridge is what we've come to expect. Whether shopping at Sobey's in Niagra-on the-Lake, as we did a few weeks ago, or here in Lethbrige, the stores are spacious and the merchandise layouts are similar, saving running back and forth looking for items. The produce section features a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The deli features a wide selection of meats, salads and cheeses, and the bakery has a great selection of fresh bread and pasteries. I was surprised that they didn't have foccacia bread - we were told that it was 'seasonal'. Who knew that foccacia had a season!
Clean. Well maintained and stocked.great bread.great barbecued chickens and chicken pies.small store but great service. My one problem is they dont price match. OtherwiseI would given 5 stars.
