If you’re looking for EXCEPTIONAL 5 STAR BAR SERVICE, look no further! We hired Social Events for our wedding in September 2023 and could not have been more thrilled with the service we received. Sean was incredibly professional, friendly, and accommodating throughout our consultation, drink sampling event, planning, and wedding day. By the time our wedding rolled around, we considered Sean to be not only our bar tender, but a wonderful and reliable friend, and it was a true pleasure to have him at our wedding. His communication was always clear, timely and efficient. Sean went above and beyond to provide us with a personalized service, including delicious and beautiful mixed drinks, securing specific requested drinks (our favourite beers, wine and coolers), and offering many options for guest payment (including open, toonie, $4 or full priced drinks, drink tickets for selected guests, prices that could vary depending on who the guest is or when the drink was purchased - ie different prices for cocktail hour vs reception, bridal party vs guests, etc etc). He checked in on us throughout the entire wedding day, ensuring we stayed well hydrated (with water and alcoholic drinks) and even happily and discretely appeared without request to scrub dirt stains out of my dress, throughout the event! Our guests had endless wonderful things to say about the service that was provided by Sean and the rest of the Social Events staff. My husband and I literally could not have asked for more. We truly cannot recommend Sean and Social Events highly enough. Seriously, if you are searching for a bar service, do yourself a favour and look no further. KBH Chartered Professional Accountants hired Socials to bartend our corporate parking lot tax party. Sean was great communicator throughout the process of planning the event, which made the bartending at the event perfect! He was very clear and detailed going through all the details of the event. On top of that, the bartenders attending our event were awesome! They were very personable and approachable; two very important traits for bartenders! We got engaged in 2019 just before we knew our wedding planning experience would look wildly different than we first thought. We met Sean during in the beginning of 2020 and through all of the uncertainty he was available for phone calls and emailing back and forth. He was there for our ceremony day in May of this year when we could only have a few family with the restrictions. He served us champagne with a smile and made the day feel very special. We were lucky to work with Socials Bartending again for our reception this past August and we were served special blueberry signature cocktails and other fun drinks throughout the night. We hired Socials to bartend our backyard wedding reception this summer. It was easily one of my FAVOURITE parts of the event. Sean was soo kind and professional throughout the entire planning process and made the MOST delicious cocktails beyond our wildest dreams. He introduced us to some really unique types and brands of liquor and our guests still rave about how amazing the drinks were. Not only were the drinks amazing, but working with Sean was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. We hired Socials for our wedding, and I will be recommending them to everyone in need of bartending services. The drinks were delicious af (strawberry basil mojito, jalapeño margs.are you kidding me?), bartenders were absolute pros, and throughout the entire process this was one of the most stress free parts of planning our wedding. They helped us design our menu, order our liquor, and were very accommodating with any substitutions we had from previous nights of overdoing the wrong kind of alcohol…

Also, I highly recommend not only the custom cocktail design, but the cocktail tasting as well. We did a backyard tasting with our wedding party and their spouses and it was a party and a half!

You may think bartenders are a dime a dozen, but I guarantee you won’t be able to find someone else this legit.

Sean and his staff provided the bartending service for my daughter's and son-in-law's wedding at the Whitewood Barn. They did an exceptional job. From set-up to take-down and all points in between, Sean and his staff were very professional. The signature cocktails and shooters (be sure to get the signature corkage service) were the hit of the party! As a host, I was impressed with the variety of drinks that were big on taste while low on alcohol content - particularly when it came to the shooters. Prior to the event, Sean was easy to reach and returned calls promptly. I highly recommend Sean and his staff for any event that you are planning.

He made the time for phone calls, and gave us lots of advice beyond the bar, that helped our day run so smoothly. We ended up going with a venue that provides bar tending services so unfortunately I was unable to work with Sean and his team for my event but I have to say I am so impressed with how helpful Sean was. He was so great with answering all my questions and even referring me to venues and food options. He went above and beyond to provide me with various options - even the options that did not include his services. I really appreciated his honesty and determination to help me find the best solution for our event. Their pricing is also extremely fair and worth the value in my opinion - so I really am disappointed to not work with Socials this time. But I will definitely contact Socials again in the future! We just had Socials bartend our wedding on Sept 12,2021. Sean and his team have exceptional service! They were also such a fun addition to our wedding at the Whitewood Barn. Sean really goes above and beyond in helping create a drink menu that fits you and your event! I took most of Sean's suggestions for beers and received many compliments the night of the wedding on the choices. Sean brought out drinks for myself and the groom for a private moment after the ceremony. Sean really makes sure everything is taken care of.

We used Sean (Socials Bartending & Events) for bartending and corkage services at our wedding on July 31 2021. Sean was extremely attentive to all our wedding needs and was very timely in his responses. Despite dealing with the loss of a loved one, Sean ensured everything was taken care of for our wedding and the bartending services went off without a hitch and all guests were very satisfied with the drinks being served. Would highly recommend this company for any event needs!

We used Socials bartender service for our bowling banquet this past weekend at a community hall. Our bartender was Alex and she did a great job. Sean was also very good and easy to work with for the planning our first event of 60 guests with certified bartenders.

We hired Sean and his team at Social’s Events to bar tend our wedding at The Whitewood Barn in early September. They were recommended as a preferred partner of that venue, so we followed up.
From the very beginning, Sean was fantastic to work with. He was quick with communication, able to answer all of our questions, and we had no doubt they would do a great job on the day of the wedding. When the day came, we were absolutely blown away by the care and effort that Sean and his team put in. Keeping a drink in the hand of all of our (very thirsty) guests was a task in itself, and they operated quickly, kindly, and professionally. As the night progressed, they went over and above yet again, by helping us serve our late lunch and with anything else that needed to be done. All this while still keeping the bar rolling, and guests entertained, late into the night. Would HIGHLY recommend this awesome local business and their work!

As many brides and grooms have discovered planning a wedding during a pandemic is very stressful. Sean made the bartending side of things for our big day easy. Sean is so professional and always got back to me in such a timely manner. We got married this past Saturday - I can tell you even with a reduced guest list that our bar was busy and the two ladies we had behind the bar from Socials were amazing to our guests!

Okay cannot say enough amazing things about this business! From the quick email responses, to the over and above customer service, this is will forever be my go-to bar service. I hired socials for my birthday and wow did we have a great time. My girlfriends are still messaging me saying this was the best night ever. I was able to take part in creating 6 custom cocktails which were served all night.
