Bought a pair of slides from here, was given two different sizes. When contacting support they are absolutely useless. Would NOT recommend shopping at any softmoc location based on this experience, I know I will not be. Probably a good reason they are sitting at a 3.2 star rating.

Loved my shoe shopping experience today. The your girl I had was very helpful and rather funny. Helpful and easily knew everything about the shoes and store. Thanks again for making today easy.

There was no customer service at all. The employees talked to each other with their backs to customers. When I told them the customer service was poor, one of the sales people told me not to come to the mall.

Avoid this location if possible. Staff pretty much avoid you or just really hate working here. They don't even check for sizes on the last hour that they're open, they simply tell you they don't have the pair/don't have your size. There's no customer service in this location; nobody greeted us, nobody approached us to check in or see if we needed anything.

The lady working in the store is such in a hurry to clean up and close probably. I am looking to buy a blundstone 1677, in size 7.5. There were 2 1677 on the same color in display, but when i asked she replied, without even checking the tag on the shoe, that it's the only size that they have for that pair. When i called her out for her lying, she doesn't even know what to say.

Terrible customer service, walked in and the staff just kept talking to each other, didn't help me find the shoes I was looking for until I was in there for 5 minutes, they had alot of stock for shoes but the customer service killed it for me

Service was good. The young staff member who helped us made suggestions and helped to look for the right shoes. Store was clean and very busy. The young guys in the back who were stocking shoes need to be aware they can be heard by customers.

If possible I would give this location zero stars. The staff, with exception to one girl, was absolutely awful. All extremely rude. When I asked for the Managers name, she would only give me her nickname and not her full actual name. I was there around 3 pm on Saturday, March 28th.

Purchased Ugg boots today super like it!
Just wanted to say thank you for the 2 lovely ladies that helped me at the store. Very patient and friendly staff. Great customer service. Shout out to Jasmeen. And forgot the cashiers name.

Worst customer service ever. I tried calling since 11 am, never answering the phone. I finally got through at 3pm. I wanted to exchange some boots, and asked to verify that they had the size I required. I was told that they don't help people over the phone and I had to come in, as people in the store had priority. Really during a pandemic you think its a good idea to just come in and hang out. I was told that they usually don't answer the phones. Really, well being an area supervisor for a large chain of stores in my past life I would beg to disagree, the fundamentals of retail are always answer the phone. But hey I guess Softmoc is doing so well during all of this that they can forge a new path in the retail space void of all customer service.

Cross Iron Mills/SoftMoc - I am giving this store a ZERO stars. Horrible customer service, stopped in at the store twice within a few days, both times there were 2 wanna be k********n clerks behind the counter, not one of them greeted me, I had to go ask them for help, there help was less than satisfactory.
I’m baffled as to why these 2 people work in the customer service industry when they don’t know how to help customers choose a pair of shoes/sandals.

I went to the CrossIron location, and got amazing service! I was looking for a pair of Birkenstocks and had never gotten a pair before. The girl who helped me (I can't remember her name unfortunately) was so friendly and helped me pick the best style and size for my foot! She also made sure I knew about their rewards program and helped me sign up so I could start collecting!

Seems to be a trend at this store. Walked In today and employees didn't acknowledge me. Terrible service! Only reason I gave 3 stars was because I wrote customer service and they gave me 20% off as compensation for the bad experience.

Employees working today weren’t eager to accommodate. When we walked in, there was one lady behind the desk. Asked if I needed help, which I knew exactly what I wanted then she called another lady in the back to help me because she was too busy.the store was empty. Also, the store wasn’t organized at all.

Condescending and controlling manager. Staff had poor knowledge of the product and poor customer service, but that is to be expected when the manager was that nasty. Take your money across the mall to Brown's or Little Burgundy.

This store is very unprofessional and has the worst customer service

I went on Saturday and the service was terrible. All associated were behind the counter or in the back, no one to bring you sizes. I bought a pair of boots that were marked $59.99 and after I got home I realised I was charged $64.99.5 days later i went in to get it fixed and then the associate insisted that it wasnt on sale and if I need a price adjustment I should bring the box and the boots. I told her i don't have the box or the boots I'm not asking for an adjustment I'm basically asking you to fix your mistake.
She gave me the difference but with the worst attitude. At the end she told it's a final sale because I wore them. I haven't worn them yet, they're still in the box. I wont be returning them because I really like them but the attitude is terrible.

I bought shoes from this guys. I worn it once, doesn't fit and was hurting me so i visited on 30th dec evening and thought to exchange it but they doesn't had proper sizes in stock. Then i told them to return it they said they won't return since it is worn and suggested me that i could have wear them at home for whole day to try. I m like what kind of person wear shoes inside home. They don't even wearing name tags and when i ask them their names they denied so i ask them to talk to manager they won't let me and called security for no reason. I even didnt swear or being rude to anyone it just that they dont want to answer my questions thats how they got solution to bring in security. Thats how they serve customer service.

Manager obviously doesn't care about the store! Horrible HORRIBLE customer service! & the store itself is ugly & practically empty not enough selection & sizes.it looks like an abandoned store & is quite tight space wise.go to a different location.quite surprised it even survived this long

We were in the store for 3 or 4 minutes prior to any salesperson even being on the floor. Then when the girl came out she couldn’t look up what I needed and said the person who can comes in at 4. I asked another question she was quietly condescending and impolite. I asked when the shoes I was looking for will come in and her reply was the store never knows what stock will come in. I asked her name she refused to tell me and she had no visible name tag. I am so tired of being treated this way. Won’t be shopping at soft moc cross iron mills Calgary ever again. Very unhelpful staff and lack knowledge.

All the bad reviews of this place is 100% true. Manager is terrible and doesn't care about any customers whatsoever. Went in here and no acknowledgement by staff; called here looking for a specific size and was told they can't do that and just hung up because they were busy. Go somewhere else for sure.

If I could give zero stars I would. You are better of buying somewhere else I went in to buy winter boots. They had a sale on the boots I bought and when she rang them in they were not. The staff told me they didn't remove the sale tag this morning when she tried to accommodate their computer was down. Very frustrating and disappointing.

The manager here seems to have a stick up her but every time I walk in here. What's with the attitude? You dont like your job than I suggest you quit and find something else. The employees don't approach you and ask you if you need any help. You need to go up to them to ask for service. If you want to talk to each other do it when customers are not in the store or not on company's time. Please retain your staff and hire a new and better manager.

I came in last night looking for winter boots for my son. Not one of the THREE ladies behind the counter acknowledged my existence. When your customers need you to even get a size maybe you should stop talking and offer help. I did find the perfect boot, but I'm buying it somewhere where I actually get service.

Please, just don't purchase at this location.

The manager, Deb, is so awful and condescending to staff and customers alike. It's shocking to me that her staff don't run away after 1 day.

Also, if you have ANY issues with your footwear - good luck trying to get Deb to honor the warranty on the footwear (she doesn't give anyone else in the store authority to help with warranty issues so if you show up when she's not there you're out of luck). When you do catch her she will explain to great length why you're not entitled to a replacement. Be prepared to FIGHT if you want the warranty on your footwear honored even in they are less than a month old). Then, when after 45 minutes of fighting and threatening to contact head office for a rightful replacement, she caves she'll sweetly say "we're doing the right thing by replacing your footwear so now you have nothing to complain about anymore! " For real.

Do yourself a favour and just don't buy here!

Really not a big fan of the set up in the store it was a bit cramped and the shoe stock was all over.in its deffence it was busy for the middle of a week day for the lack of employees

Short version: Awful management. Try another location.

Long version: I was talked into buying Birkenstocks that were too small for my feet. 10 days after buying the 2 pairs of 36's I went back to the store with already damaged soles. I was told by the manager (Deb) that this damage is so tiny and no big deal. I explained that when I drop a few hundred dollars on Birks that I expect properly sealed cork. She proceeded to tell me it was my fault I'd bought the wrong size (as per recommendation of her staff). After 30 minutes (and her choosing to help -tell off- 3 other customers during my interactions with her) I left with one new correctly sized paid of Birks. She refused to replace the other pair of Birks I had purchased which was also sold to me the wrong size (which she told me will, as a result, be ruined in 3 months - AWESOME!).

I love the product but the customer service is really, really horrendous. I will not buy from this location again because of the way I was treated AND because I thought the manager (Deb) treated other staff and customers unkindly as well. Nope.don't go here!

June 28,2019: The manager at this SoftMoc location is absolutely horrid to her own employees. I was at the till approaching with shoe in hand ready to ask for a size. One of the employees asked Deb (the awful manager) what needed to be done for some merchandising plan. She glared at her poor employee and said something along the lines of telling her to figure it out.

Watching this short interaction between employee and manager made me feel so uncomfortable. Really sad to see this old hag bossing around young employees who just simply do their jobs. Can’t believe the employees get treated like this. And judging by the reviews on here — this location clearly needs a new manager. Shame on you Deb.

The manager at this location is absolutely horrendous! I believe she goes by the name Deb or Debbie, she is so condescending to both customers and her own employees! The assistant manager here is also god awful and looks like she hates her job. Management is just horrifying. Shop at another location! Far better customer service elsewhere than this location.

March 22 2019 went into store. I asked the miserable bag lady behind counter for help and she called one of the orher girls over. I asked about sizes the girl got for me and dropped them on the floor and walked away. Never again will i shop there.
