Solid Solutions Renovations

We wrapped up a large renovation with Solid Solutions this past summer and are very happy with the end result. When we met with Curtis as we were considering options he highlighted that Solid Solutions approach is different, we made the decision to move ahead and would certainly agree that they delivered in every respect. Communication was excellent, timing was very close to schedule and through the entire process it felt like our project mattered, regardless who we were speaking with from the company. Their process of having one of their staff on-site throughout the renovation was also appreciated, Caleb (Solid Solutions) was tremendous to work with, attended to every detail and wouldn’t settle for anything but the best from himself or the various subs that worked on the project. Any renovation has unforeseen issues, ours was no exception however the way these were handled by Caleb and the rest of the team was outstanding, and appreciated. All in all we would certainly recommend Solid Solutions to anyone considering a renovation to their home!

Hired Solid Solutions to complete master bathroom renovation. They were referred to me by my plumber. I did my homework and got a few quotes. Solid Solutions was right in the ballpark with the quote. Amazing communications from Curtis from quote phase right through to project kickoff. Once the project was underway, Spencer, Darcy and Trace were meticulous with their work and clean up everyday. Breath of fresh air to finally have a contractor caring that homeowner lives in the same space as the project! When there was a minor hiccup with project the team jumped in and sorted things out. There was never a minute when I wasn't informed and presented options. Cannot say enough about this company. I wish I had known about them years ago when I had other renovations completed. If you are looking for a company that cares, committed and prides itself on quality of work then contact them. You will not be disappointed.

What an amazing company. We had always hummed and hawed about doing basement renovations but didn't think we'd be doing them for another 5-10 years. When our basement took on water damage that turned out to be WAY worse than we initially thought, we figured now was the time. We met with Andrew and Brett and they listened to what we had in mind. We also had some areas where we didn't know what we wanted but they walked us through the whole process and had some great design ideas. Throughout the process, we were able to narrow down all our choices and meet with the respective local companies Andrew sent us to in order to figure out the specifics of things like cabinets, flooring, and counter tops. Every company we went to had nothing but good things to say about the Solid Solutions team. They came to us with a fair estimate and contract as well as a schedule. I had heard nothing but renovation horror stories up to this point so I was expecting things to go over budget and extend past deadlines. I had expected to need to deal with trades individually and micro manage issues. I am ecstatic to say Solid Solutions delivered our basement renovation ON TIME and pretty much on the estimated cost. All the work carried out was professional, courteous, and prompt. They were approachable and I never felt stupid about asking questions. Communication was prompt. For a vast majority of the work done that was within control of the Solid Solutions team, everything was great. They came by for touch ups a few weeks afterwards which gave us a chance to live in the space a bit and figure out if there were any problems. They don't stop until everything is absolutely perfect. I never felt like we weren't being taken care of throughout the entire process. We are pretty much all settled back into our basement after not having it for 6 months and love it better than ever. Would highly recommend Solid Solutions for any Reno job you need. They are very professional and do incredible work. All their employees are in house and the owner is a red seal carpenter who knows the intricate details of home construction. It’s truly piece of mind when dealing with a company that knows their stuff.

I wish I could give Solid Solutions more than 5 stars! We had the solid solutions team reno our entire 2500 ft house - bathrooms, kitchen, living room, etc. They were amazing (and we are picky!). They came in on budget which was fair and well-outlined, the quality of the work was outstanding, and they finished the job in about 2 months - right on schedule! I was impressed with the little things - the communication was quick, the team left the house tidy every night, their sub-trades were always polite, knowledgeable, and efficient, and they made sure that every detail was looked after for us. We would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. Thank you!

I have hired Solid Solutions twice now. First for a bathroom reno and then a kitchen face lift. They were easy and efficient to communicate with and worked with me to stay within my budget. A fair price for excellent work! The guys have an eye for detail. I recommend them to everyone now.

This was an amazing experience. We originally had a living room, dining room, and kitchen on our main floor. We removed all the walls to create an open concept kitchen and dining room. Andrew, Brett, Darcy, Tray, and all the trades were polite, professional, and accommodating. At the end of each day the space was cleaned and vacuumed where we could walk without shoes. The timing, workmanship, and attention to the small details were excellent. The entire team was honest and reliable and we have recommended this company to family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.

The guys at Solid Solutions are amazing. They re-did my whole bathroom on-time and on-budget. It was a real mess before and they helped me with design ideas and really brought the whole thing together. They did an incredible job with the wall tiling, installed a new vanity and vanity light, re-did the floor, put in brand new shower-head and tub. It was a huge project and they were so professional the entire time.
