Son of Pharaoh is a hidden gem.
Every time I come here I learned so much history about Egypt and culture.
One of the most extraordinary stores I’ve ever been in feels more like a museum filled with so much!
I love coming here to shop or even just look around and learn.
It’s the best place for gifts, jewelry, clothing, statues etc.

I’ve bought several products from here as I love original pieces from Egypt. The service is stellar and love spending time at Son of the Pharaoh.

Beautiful store that feels like I stepped into the Middle East. I get quality perfumes and scents that usually cost 200-400 at Sephora for 34 dollars in pure oil form, and later mix them at home with alcohol to get the same full perfume size I get at retailers. The man who owns the place also does tours, and when we go to Egypt we will definately reach out to him since he is so lovely and hospitable. I'm a native Calgarian living in Montreal but I always visit this shop for gifts and to light up my friends' day

Very cool gift shop with a wide array of Egyptian, medieval, and fantasy paraphernalia. Friendly and informative employee.

Very unique store. Many elaborate Belly dancing outfits on the second floor. Some artifacts look like they are imported from Egypt. Most item’s don’t have price tags. I might have bought something but if there’s no price tags I feel that this leaves it up to the proprietor to determine a price based on their opinion of the customer. I did like that there were notes explaining the deities represented and their meanings.

I always go to both locations of this shop. They have great products that you can’t find anywhere else and their perfume oils are amazing. It’s a family owned business and they are always very helpful and friendly! I’m glad to have them in our city.

This is my favourite store in Calgary! The store has a beautiful collection of unique items and the owner is very knowledgeable about all of them. The staff is very friendly and I always lose track of time when I go here. They also have a the best selection of incense that I’ve seen in the city so far! Highly recommended!

The owner is amazing and friendly. The store is very large and has an amazing variety of products. There is lots of really amazing things and also has some really cool clothing upstairs. I highly recommend checking this store out.

This store is awesome. Wall to wall with unique decor and smaller items I have no idea how to find anywhere else.

Bonus. It's not just Egyptian themed items.

There are also wonderful statues depicting greek and roman figures. Fascinating little recreation burial urns. Intricate chess boards and even a few contemporary pieces that would fit a DnD setting.

However, its probably something you'd want to save up for if you want to buy a few of the nicer figurines and decor items. Definitely worth a browse!
