The team at Sonata was awesome! Matt helped us with the selection and purchase of new blinds throughout our house and really took the time to explain the options available to us and provided valuable feedback on the colour and style selections while at our house taking measurements.
The installation also went really smoothly. The work areas were clean and Sonata quickly re-ordered and replaced a blind that came defective from the manufacturer.

We had a great selection experience with Tyrell at the Sonata showroom - very knowledgeable and we were really happy with the window coverings we ended up with. A few months after having them installed, we started having issues with several of the motorized blinds. Sonata was great about ordering and arranging replacements. When we started having the same issues with our replacements and a few other hiccups along the way, everyone we interacted with at Sonata really rose to the challenge. Brandi, Menaka, and Saby all made us feel like they truly cared about our experience and were looking out for us. We met with Tyrell in the showroom and he showed us all of the different options as we weren’t really sure what we wanted. He sent us home with sample books and after we decided Tyrell met us at our house and we did make some changes with his advice. During our first meeting we were told install times would be held up due to product availability, which we understood. Our install time got pushed back further than expected and Tyrell sent us a very nice gift basket which we were grateful for.

The installer Scott was very knowledgeable and quick at putting in the blinds and drapes. Overall we are very happy with our blinds, would highly recommend this company.

Matt at Sonata understood our situation and presented options for a solution to eliminate the existing Somfy battery power tubes and bring the ability to 'recharge' the blinds, to a height that was manageable without a 20' ladder. The installer Tyler was efficient, knowledgeable and timely. We are thrilled with the end result - quiet motors, hidden cables, no more batteries and a very pleasing aesthetic. We would use Sonata again.

Excellent communication and service. Everything was quoted and arrived on schedule, with zero surprises. Provided some excellent advice to help us make a decision. The install was likewise smooth and ensured everything was clean and good before leaving. Very happy with product and the entire process!

I rarely leave business reviews, but this experience has to be documented. We upgraded to Hunter Douglas blinds for our house with this company. One of the blind cords snapped in 2 pieces after less than 2 years of use but thankfully HD blinds come with lifetime warranty. It took 4 months and 4 separate install visits to have this simple cord repaired (and it is still not repaired properly). The company’s customer service is extremely disappointing- you as the customer are left to continuously inquire about your service appointment and status. It should not take 4 separate visits for a blind repair specialist to fix something as simple as a cord. Also, it is important to note is that the cord is still not fixed properly, the installer drilled an addition hole in my window frame and my cords are not level. At this point having a somewhat functioning blind is better than trying to schedule a 5th appointment with this company.

We were looking to update our window coverings after 30 years in our home. Lynda Gowland was very helpful and knowledgeable on today's window covering options. We ended up choosing a product we were not familiar with and are pleased with the installation and looks of the product in our home. She was very professional and decisive in the help she provided when it came to choosing the options and colours for the product line we purchased. We would not hesitate to refer her to others planning to choose window coverings.

My wife and I dealt with Sonata as we had them supply and install all of window coverings in our new home. We were happy with the pricing, timelines and service that was provided. We did have one little issue in regards to a cord that stopped working but called Brandi over in Service and she crushed it! Had a guy at our place in the next couple days to try and fix which wasn't possible so she had temp blinds installed and sent our blind away and we had it back in our hands less than 2 weeks later.

I would highly recommend Sonata to anyone that is in need or window coverings!

Lynda was very knowledgeable and provided us with different options while being mindful of our budget. Our only disappointment was that our blinds were not installed on our possession date. We had specifically requested for the blinds to be installed on our possession date since we have large windows. However, the Trico site supervisor informed us that the blinds were on back order and that it would be installed the following week. We were not informed about this prior to possession which was frustrating. However, the Trico rep was able to make arrangements for installation the following day.
