Had dinner at stony plain, as we walked into the place it was pretty dark as my eyes adjusted to the dark ambience it was a very nice atmosphere but still a lil dark. We were seated by I guess the matre d, who also got us our drinks at first, short staffed for a expensive restaurant. Then we were greeted by our waitress XIMENA, she was very greeting, polite and hard working, and italian speaking! Great plus for an italian restaurant. I had the special Lamb risotto. Which should b added to there menu permanently excellent! My wife had the chicken scalapini also very good. Me being italian i Will go back to try some other dishes. Good job Sorrentinos.

Went in with a group of 20. Food was amazing but the service was absolutely terrible. Took over 1 hour to get everyones drinks. Then when it came time for the bills it was another hour. I don't honestly understand how when we are automatically paying 18% gratuity you don't provide an adequate service. We waited until almost 10: 45 pm for all of us to be done paying when we were all done eating by 9: 30pm. 1 server seriously. I will never come with a large group here again. Very disappointed

Wow. Disappointed in Sorrentino's Stony Plain. We have been regulars there for over a year, and always sit in the lounge section. Today we went there for the Happy Hour, but there were no tables available in the lounge so the manager/owner sits us in the dining.
Except he failed to mention to us that Happy Hour is ONLY IN THE LOUNGE. Which is where we wanted to be. If we knew about this, we would have waited for the next table or sat at the bar. We asked if we could get the discounts applied as we didn't want to be in the dining room originally. He gave us a hard NO.
Was shocked at the rudeness. He should tell customers that want to be in the lounge, but are sat in the dining room instead, about this. We specifically drove there for Happy Hour and the great deals they have. Very disappointing

This place has been under-rated! The food is amazing!
