South 40 Dental - Grande Prairie

Had a good experience for a cleaning and a wisdom tooth removal - made me feel at ease and the anxiety leading up to the appointment was worst than the actual removal.

I’ve been going to South 40 for the last couple of years. And had great service before. This time I don’t understand why they didn’t get it that I’m really tricky to freeze and I am extremely sensitive about getting needles and anxious that the freezing is going to take. It took several needles to get me frozen finally the last one did it. My appointment was 9: 30 AM. I didn’t leave till 12: 30 PM. Feeling the pain every time you’re drilling in and you’re not frozen is really traumatizing.

Fantastic people to deal with. The whole team, from Reception to Dentist, was inviting, relaxed and a very pleasant experience overall. There was some miscommunication regarding fees that was a bit of a shock at first, but when they explained that they quoted high for lab fees rather than not high enough, you are more prepared. A lower bill at the end of the process is much nicer to see rather than the other way around. My daughter recommended South 40 Dental and I'm so glad I listened.

Wonderful experience with getting a cavity filled. Explained everything to the child and was able to keep them engaged throughout procedure. The tokens at the end help too:)

I had a rear molar extraction.
The whole process was fairly quick, and for a change mostly pain free. Great staff. Impressive.

It was very cool. The place is nice and clean. And the staff is awesome. Friendly and caring about what you want and knowledgeable about the results you'd like to see. I want a pretty smile again and South40 will make it happen! Thank you. I would like it to be friendlier family orientated.

Professional, Curtios, Punctual would recommend all day long, a great Dental Group to have access to.

The dentist is OK but the office staff is the most ignorant I've ever dealt with. Zero respect and courtesy. I will not be coming back.

Had an excellent experience at South 40. My child was completely at ease, and they fit us in for a procedure that most places would have made us book a separate appointment for. All the staff are really friendly and kind, they were amazing.

They are so welcoming, knowledgeable, and super helpful.

To be completely honest. I’ve always hated going to the dentist. I used to get struck with such anxiety I would cancel my appointments. That was before coming to South 40. The ladies here make the atmosphere positive and light. There is no judgment if you’ve been slacking on keeping up with dental hygiene. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and keep it professional. 100% would recommend to everyone.

Staff are very friendly and kind. Getting dental work done can be nerve racking sometimes. Was not the case at South 40 Dental.

OUT WITH THE OLD & IN WITH NEW
I've had many visits to South 40 but this time was pretty stressful. I was getting a partial denture, which had me a bit nervous. I had 3 broken upper teeth pulled; then was fitted with my new partial denture.
The staff was very calming and talked me through every step. (I even took a selfie during the process!) This visit was amazing!
Update: I usually have a few days of pain and complications after extractions. This time I have had zero pain from the extractions. (I imagine because my new teeth covered everything so it is healing without being disturbed.)
