As far as urgent care goes, I highly recommend coming here. Anywhere you go you will have to wait a few hours, that's just the reality of healthcare. The staff here are incredibly friendly and do their jobs as quickly as they can, they just have a lot to do.
The facility itself is very clean and well kept, with comfy chairs. I do recommend a jacket though, as they keep the back rooms quite cool.

I’ve been to this clinic twice. The first time they forgot about me until closing so they had to send me to the nearest emergency room. That’s where I asked to go in the first place.
Second visit I had diarrhea and the supplies to clean up and get dressed were thrown at me hard enough they bounced and knocked other things onto the floor. The nurse had no compassion. Same nurse completely ignored my request to be more gentle as she was hurting me, smirking as she did so.
If I could give negative stars I would happily do so.

Went in for an issue i've been having with bleeding, to the point where it’s concerning, after being advised by my family physicians to visit urgent care if this problem got worse (which it did) and they felt my stomach for my vitals and did a urine test, but without doing any further tests was dismissed as a birth control side effect.triage and other nurses are sweet though

My husband was in a lot of pain and we went to the emergency room in South Health Center. We were admitted in 10 minutes and in an hour all lab work, x-ray were done, problem identified. Thanks to professionalism of the doctor and nurses we left in another 2 hours and my husband is much better now.

Had an appointment for 5: 20pm but still was told to wait for 30-40 minutes because of the backlog. Told the receptionist that I have somewhere to go and she gave a qr code for walk-in.
Not user friendly and so after getting off from work the following day, drove over and told them that my family physician is monitoring me and needs my blood work done. Receptionist referred me to Eloise because she said it was too late to accept walk-ins. Eloise asked for proof of my confirmed appointment (for the previous day) and once I showed it to her, she accommodated me. She's very professional and courteous. I asked her why, even with our confirmed appointment, we still have to wait and what's the use of the appointment.she explained that there are just too many people.
Dynalife should adhere to the scheduled appointments or hire more staff to accommodate the traffic.

Worst. Got here at 6 pm with my toddler. It’s 11 pm and we still have not seen the doctor. This is some messed up health care system. It’s the citizens fault really, everyone waits around for hours on end like sheep without raising any concern-not with staff, it’s not their fault. Higher authorities need to be held accountable for such a horrible system. You could literally die waiting and no one will know.

Everything was unfair except one nurse service.we should change the title from urgent care to late care I believe they really don’t know the definition of urgent. Especially the (Doctors) we wait for almost six hours and we come out this place was empty only cleaners were cleaning after 6 hours of waiting they didn’t provide us service we went one person sick we come out three of us were sick coz they awaited us in the interview room with 25 degree cold.

A few months ago, after seeing a dentist, I had to go to emergency for extreme dental pain. (yeah, what a nightmare) I must have made enough noise in the admitting area because from what I remember, I think I was admitted and seen a couple of hours later. The doctor seemed caring enough, asked a few questions and tried to view the affected area. She prescribed Tramadol, which I am being told by other health professionals now, that they are not surprised that IT DIDN’T WORK! Like gee great, I wish I had known that then. Anyway, I was released, had to go and fill the prescription… fffff like you didn’t have any on site? ! Take one, wait an hour… and nothing happened. By then, I was in so much pain I had to be driven to Rockyview Hospital afterward. Hell night!

Waited 5 hours to be seen by a doctor, only to be told to use saline washes for acute sinusitis not even anti biotics, bed side manner was atrocious and im diabetic and no one even thought to check my sugar until 10 minutes before I left, super disappointed in our healthcare system

Went in Friday 19th, @ 6: 00pm, waited in line to see Anne at triage. I had gotten a cotton fluff in my eye and it was swollen and infected. When I got in to a room Sandi, nurse, checked me over, took vitals and answered questions. Doctor Yarema came in and dealt with my eye, answered questions, gave me a solution and sent me on my way. The wait said 2hrs 50 min. I was there there almost that exact amount of time. All three of the above staff were awesome. They were efficient, friendly and answered my questions, Would definitely go here again for treatment.

Visited AHS Sunpark Critical Care Unit last week for a severe abdominal pain and finally returned home after discharge from Rockyview yesterday

During this journey I found health care staff at all levels polite, caring and more importantly the attention to details needed for my treatment.

The staff and doctors at the South Calgary Health Centre are top notch professionals. I came in with a skin issue, had no problem getting in, and was cared for with due care by Dr. Rick. A shining example of the Canadian Health Care System.

Doctor is good and listened to you but nurses are rude and even asked me " what do you need from us? And even asked me if I know the word tingling means? How rude to asked a patient that has been in pain and no sumpathy. AND even blame me for not taking painkiller. I tried my best not to drink too much painkiller. I came to this clinic for help and not to be interrogated.

Let’s be real, the health care system is really a sick care system at this point.

No triage in place. No systems or procedures. Got 20 people in line and nurses checkin Instagram and FB. People with runny noses are going ahead of people crippling over in pain.

Thankfully nothing life threatening on our end, but a “46 minute” wait, turned into 4 hours with no end in sight

Been here a few times and never have I been treated urgently. Including the time I was going into Anaphylaxis it took over 4h for a Dr to see me.

Took my 95 year old mother there as she had respiratory trouble. She was visiting from out of town. When we arrived, no one asked why we were there; just told to have a seat and wait 3 to 4 hours. There was no triage. I appreciate that there were others ahead of her but surely an elderly woman who obviously has trouble walking and could not sit for that long could have been moved up in the cue. Gave 1 star but they really earned 0.

Have been waiting since 9.00 AM and it’s already 2.30 PM no sign of our turn yet. People with lesser concerns and even those who came later than me are seen first. My 6 years is having a high fever and throwing up don’t know how much more time it’s Gona take. Oh man these nurses are so so rude, says until someone has a broken bone, broken ribs or a cardiac arrest, can not be seen before 6,7 hours not to me though but to a fellow patient.horrible place and worst urgent care I have ever seen in Canada.

It was nightmare experience. After waiting for 6.30 hours, Dr. Warner is saying X-ray and other facility will be close in 3 min.so can't diagnose without it.
Seriously! I went to clinic at 4.45pm and x-ray close at mid night. So why Dr. Warner decided to see me 3 min before closing.

I don’t think I have been in for a scan or anything medical related and out so quickly with great service. My service was at 5 Told to be there 30 minutes early. They got me in before 5 and got me in and out by 5. Never have I had such good service.

You’ll wait an eternity here before you’re ever even seen by a doctor. Even if you’re in immense pain, it’s ridiculous and I wouldn’t recommend it. Currently been in the waiting room for 4 1/2 hours.

April 18 - went to urgent care due to numbness, tnigling and swelling on face, as well sharp stabbing pains to left and right of rib cage.this was going on for couple days prior. Started to have a sweet taste drinking water hroughout the day. Called a doctors office for an appointment they suggested to go to er right away. Waited 5 hours ifinally got in, nurse took blood pressure which was very high. Doctor came in asked a few questions stating swelling is probably allergies, Felt my stomach which I said it's more in the ribs not the stomach he then asked me to smile and frown which I did and he said it's not drooping. I said I didn't say it was paralyzed it was numb.
He then gave me a prescription for claritin and said you don't need to go for blood work, we both know that'll be wasting yours and my time.
4 days later I am down 7lbs from when I went to see him and pain has escaladed with more severe headaches.constant dry mouth and swelling is still there.

My wife came here following the instructions of her family doctor.
The belittled her and refused her service.
I am beyond disgusted with the "Profesionals" here.
Next time you want me to "stand" with ahs and support you I'll take a pass, since you couldn't bother helping anytime we have been to this center.
Close this place and spend the money on a real hospital.

I have bad experience long wait time and too much restrictions. I went for my son to open his steaches my son he is 2 years old it was time 2 pm then they want me to sit in the chair line the line was going and we move and changed the seats step by step it really crazy we sit on another person spots after every 10 minutes they want every one to move and changed the seat according to line moving that is seriously not acceptable if someone has flue or covid we never know how easily transmit germs from other person seriously. I was tired to changed my seat with my son because he seat on my lap. My son was crying too much because he really tired and I really upset because of they have long wait time and nurses are very rude when I need help after 6 pm they call my son name to go inside and they told me to sit inside the room and doctor will be here shortly.really doctor came after 20 minutes to see him and run away in 5 minutes and doctor assistant came to open my son steaches she was un professional her hand was moving and shivering alot i was holding my son they don't have enough staff during cutting steaches she cut ️ with sessior my son skin and blood come out she put bandage instead of steaches thread.
Poor and unprofessional assistant and doctor in urgent care. I never recommended to anyone if you need urgent care please go to seton emergency better then here.

Larisa the nurse was fabulous! She was helpful and I didn't feel the needle at all! I got blood taken out today Sunday Feb 27,2022 at around 2PM. As soon as I told her I am scared of needles, she listened politely and assured me comfort. Her experience shows! Well done Larisa! You are great!

I went in with a migraine where I lost my vision for a couple hours and lost feeling in my arm. The wait time wasn’t to bad but when nurse Leah took me back to my room and started asking questions she was literally yelling them at me which was completely unfair as one of her questions was “are you sensitive to loud sounds and noises”. If you have ever had a migraine you would know how it can be very hard to think and this nurse was getting annoyed when I would need to take a second to answer, Then when my mom tried to help me or explain something she noticed the nurse would scoff at her and was extremely rude to both of us.
She went on to tell me that if SHE had lost her vision she would have been terrified and called 911 and how she didn’t think she could handle it, also told me a story about her neighbours daughter who lost her vision during a migraine and was asking her (the nurse) if she was going to die… what kind of bed side manner is that! I’m seeking medical attention because I am unwell and scared and she’s sharing personal stories which aren’t calming whatsoever and basically telling me that she wouldn’t have been able to handle my situation.
Then the doctor comes in tells me it’s just a tension headache and to go home and rest and leaves the room.
Worst experience I’ve ever had.

This urgent care is the only one close to me, so I have been forced to go here for medical issues for years, despite the fact that this facility is falling apart, the staff are either under trained or just don’t care, and I have had multiple misdiagnosis’ from this facility that impacted me and my health negatively.

I highly suggest going to an actual ER or calling heathlink, instead of wasting your time with this facility.

Urgent care but not so urgent. However this is a great healthcare facility for people in the deep south but it seems like the government and the AHS often forget that there are lot of residents and new communities in these area with limited medical facilities. The queue can be very long and you might have to wait the whole day to see a doctor or a nurse.

Have been here quite a few times. Definitely a random I take. Was ahead of 4 others needing x-rays coming in to triage and somehow all the others went in ahead of me. Wait times online are NOT accurate in the least, it had said 41 minutes online and I'm here 5 hours later still waiting to see a doctor (took 3.5 hours just to get through triage)

I completely sympathize with what nurses and staff are going through during the pandemic and how often they must be treated poorly but my experience here was awful. Shelly was the nurse who took care of me when I was admitted and I don't think I've ever experienced such poor treatment at any hospital or doctors office. As a comparison, I ended up going to the hospital in Seton a couple days later and my experience was phenomenal there.
The nurses at urgent care speak about being abused and treated poorly but they treated me like garbage when I needed help as well as 2 other patients who were there at the same time. Training is definitely needed. I am so disappointed and will never return here.

WOULD NEVER SUGGEST GOING HERE!

I’ll never be stepping foot in this unprofessional “Professional” centre again.
Common statements were as follows:
- this is nothing, you’re fine
- this is “just” a walk in clinic and we don’t have the proper tools here
- we closed an hour ago
- this is not a bandaid fix, and I wouldn’t recommend you go to the ER

We went against that medical advise and went to the ER to get a second opinion. Within 20 minutes of stepping into the front doors of the Emergency hospital, I was out on 2 courses of IV antibiotics, and later in the week HAD EMERGENCY SURGERY!

This clinic does not look at the best interest of its patients and are only there to make a paycheque. I am so thankful that I went for a second opinion that saved my life, just because of the “Doctor” wanted to go home.

Hope this helps everybody save some time and make a easy decision if they feel they need medical attention. SEAK OTHER PLACES FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVISE!

Went in with a broken foot. I had also just recovered from a major ankle surgery and told them to check to make sure nothing was re-injured. They only did x-rays on my new injury and no checking on the previous one, I was given the wrong specialists name when I was dismissed. Spent 3 days in confusion not knowing what to tell my boss or my friends who were kind enough to let me stay with them since I can't walk. Finally got incontact with the correct specialist only to find out I had to wait another 3 days to be seen in the hospital for minor surgery.
This whole experience has drained all my faith in our Healthcare system and has left me with fears I may not return to walking properly after the way this injury was handled. Negative 10 stars if I could.

Recently went for heaviness on my chest and rapid heart rate feeling and recently got the jab and wanted to make sure it wasnt a side effect or an asthma attack. The waiting room was 6-10 people at most any given time. Nurses and admin staff were fine. I'm sure tired given Albertas situation with outbreaks of COVID.

When the nurse came in, I did advise her that I was feeling better but wanted to be safer than sorry. The Doc was a resident and overseeing my supposed "treatment". He gaslit me the entire time trying to say my family doctors treatment plan for my asthma was wrong and I wouldnt need to be there if I used my inhalers properly.

My symptoms I went in for were symptoms that correlate with the vaxx and I was told to call 811 or go to urgent care if you feel these symptoms, especially having asthma. I explained to the Doctor that I live alone and I wanted to be somewhere safe if I was having an asthma attack or something else was occurring. The whole time he was staring at my engagement ring. I owe ZERO explanation of our living arrangements.

He then decided I needed a COVID test and while administrating the nose swab he went on about how lucky I was that my covid illness was not severe and that I was lucky that I didnt have that variant. I placated to what he was saying and he then thanked me.

The next lecture I got was him mansplaining that he could show me how to properly use an inhaler I have been using for over 10 years because I clearly wasnt doing it well because "you are a healthy 37 year old that should not have these symptoms every day". Thanks, I will make sure to to do better and not have symptoms for chronic disease.

I dont remember his name. He was misogynistic and a typical gaslighter. Lacked all and any compassion. Ladies.swipe left if you see him on any dating site. Hes 5'10" at best, dark, curly hair, olive skin complexion and stalky. RUN!

This place is a glorified, long lined, walk in clinic.

Despite 811 health line telling me that urgent care would drain an infected cyst on my gum line below the nasal cavity, they decided that they don't do drainage at that clinic. I would have to go wait another 2 hours at emergency. If this cyst bursts into my skull it will kill me. So when 811 tells you that urgent care will deal with a problem, go to an urgent care clinic in a different city, they will not help you here. They will refer you to your family doctor and push you out the door. A prime example on why public health care is flawed. I would rather pay, actually be serviced and have the ability to sue for blatant ignorance and endangering lives.

I had an excellent experience at this location. It was quite busy at the time I was there and they did a great job of getting people in and out. I feel I had one of the best doctor patient experiences as the Doctor Who saw me was extremely personable and had a very welcoming bedside manner. I feel he thoroughly checked me over and ordered the appropriate tests. Everybody I encountered in this location was friendly and professional right from the nurse that checked me in to the doctor I saw to the x-ray technician and the nurse they were all stellar. Thanks for taking care of me!

First time being here for bloodwork and there was absolutely no hassles or holdups. Staff was very nice and informative and helpful. I looked at previous reviews and got a little nervous, but no, this was quick and effortless. Thank you to staff for making me feel comfortable so early in the morning!

I went in for an MRI and was extremely happy with the staff there. They were very kind. I had a panic attack when I went into the MRI tube and they were able to accommodate me and helped me breathe through it. They made me feel less embarrassed about my panic attack and did everything they could to help me.

Went there on Wednesday afternoon with a sore throat (had to leave work to do so). Been dealing with significant health problems over the past few months and was simply wanting to get it checked out. The woman screening at the door was pushy and rude, essentially wanted me covid swabbed and out. I pushed very hard to get seen by a doctor and turns out I had strep. This is the second time since May I’ve been overlooked and told by someone it was covid when it was not. Your front door screeners need to be much more respectful. I will say the doctor and intake nurse were very kind but that was the only highlight.

This place was such a wonderful overall experience from the minute I walked in and was greeted, provided a new mask, sanitized my hands, asked standard questions and waited in line inside at 6: 35 a.m. Up to being seen by a lovely lab technician to walking out - I was done with my bloodwork all within an hour.

Terrible experience, came here for help with a serious problem and I encounter, rude, unfriendly staff. A rude granny who didnt like me asking questions at the front triage, Sadly this place is ran like a prison, rude ego doctor, a mean nurse whos getting payed doing nothing comes in out of nowhere while talking to her friend taking my blood sugar and makes a weird comment? 2/5 stars on here is despicable, we need staff and nurses that are welcoming, helpful, friendly, and have people skills, not stirring up trouble with nonsense.

1/5 you failed tonight and the 3 of you should be ashamed for how i was treated today. Pretty bizzare experience. I was the one with the throat clicking. Pretty serious issue and distressing. Thanks

Came here for walk-in lab service first thing in the morning and waited over three hours for the call notice for my turn. They should really implement 15min text msg notifications once people are checked in and on their waiting list, so people don’t have to just waste their time and give a little bit of flexibility for the visitors.

Went in after falling and injuring my knee. Was seen, X-rayed and fitted with a splint when it was revealed that I had a broken patella, all within the first 90 minutes. Excellent care.

So 3 resent visits and always had a mix of kind nurses then rude doctors or rude nurses and kind doctors.

Brushed it off the first two times, but last night just crossed the line, when my brother told me what happened.

The doctor was rude and said "I hope you learnt your lesson" without knowing the full story. Its unprofessional.you are a doctor not his parent.
My brother told me next time anything happens he doesn't want to go to this location.

My personal experience is that I had a ringing start in my ears and pain in the right ear. The lady who came in was being extremely unprofessional almost making me feel i was wasting her time. Thankfully the doctor was kind and helpful, and seams to enjoy helping people.

The other time I came here was with my partner when she wasn't feeling to good for few days. The ladies this time were really nice and helpful. Until the doctor came in imidiatly made us feel not welcome. And made my partner feel like she was also wasting his time. Doesn't help when he said something quietly under his breath.we didn't hear exactly what he said so I kept quiet the whole time just wanting to leave.

So from now on I'll be going to a different location with my family.

I have unfortunately visited this place 3 times within 4 years period. Each time I visit, I promise myself to not go there anymore.
Very rude and careless staff.

My advice to people working here: if you don’t like dealing with sick people, do yourself and the public a favour and quit. Find a job where you are less grumpy and less miserable.

Went in last night been having blood in stool abdominal pain I felt dizzy and confused I’ve been exhausted daily I go in and the wait time wasn’t to bad the triage nurse was really good when it came to the doctors they were so young I couldn’t believe it I saw DR Albert but it wasn’t his young looks it was his communication that made me say what the heck he didn’t even know where to go with my issues he asked me well what would you like to do today I said I would like to know what’s causing these symptoms and asked for everything urine test blood work X-ray and stool sample testing I couldn’t believe I had to ask for all that it made him look even more young and inexperienced. After all that he comes back and says your constipated and your blood work is fine. This is really concerning I couldn’t believe the experience was not reassuring I feel are health care at some locations is really on the down slope I would not come here again the bad reviews are legit if you have to go here get a second opinion

When I arrived for immunization, I waited for a couple of minutes before the admitting noticed me because they are busy watching videos over their phone. 30 mins after my appointment time, I approached the admitting staff, I think they forgot or any matters at their fault. I was attended after almost an hour were in fact we are only 3 patients by that time.
