I have never felt so welcomed anywhere before. From the moment you walk in the door. Originally i was very nervous,
but was reasured after meeting the staff, from the front office to the doctors and all the awesome people in between. The bone graft surgery went fantastic and i couldn't have had better care. Everyone was amazing. Aftercare has been outstanding. I'm set to have my implants done in less than a week and have no reservations at all. Definitely choose South calgary Oral Surgery!

Dr. Bui, Dr. Torsher. Heather, Riyah, Sidney, Rebecca and the entire front and back staff are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! 20stars for treatment, performance, explaining and the overall end result has been nothing less than a miracle! They are all so kind and sensitive and put up with all the nervous patients coming in and asking a million questions and every one of them puts you at ease and goes the extra mile! I am blown away by the 2 surgeries I had there. GOLD STAR SERVICE! I wish I had bought more Tim's donuts/muffins for the whole gang.sorry for those who didn't get one! Thank you so very much, all of you wonderful people! We had a delay but that can't be helped and we waited patiently and I wish other patients could have more patience and be polite.it's already a nasty world sometimes, no need to take it out on any of the lovely staff, they are amazing!

I had a horizontal impacted wisdom tooth that dr Cobb removed. Aside from long wait times for the consult everything was great. All staff were friendly, and kind. Dr Cobb was straightforward and seemed very confident which definitely put me at ease. They did everything they could to make me feel comfortable during a not so awesome time including wrapping me in warm blankets for the surgery, offering me help afterwards, and even sending me home with some gingerale because I get car sick. I was in for my surgery before it was even supposed to begin so the surgery was really fast. I had iv sedation so I was out and then woke up pretty quick afterwards, which was ideal! I’m in some pain which is to be expected. Thank you dr Cobb and team for a great experience.

Very welcoming office staff. I was very thankful I was able to obtain an appointment as quickly as I did with Dr Cobb. All the staff are very personable and compassionate about looking after their patients.

Took my father here for a consult and was absolutely disgusted with how my non English speaking father was treated by the dr.s and staff this office is money hungry. AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COST!

My young daughter had oral surgery and it was an all-around excellent experience. Admin staff was kind and courteous, the surgery was quick and successful with no complications, and the surgery team was wonderful in calming my daughter with questions, gentle jokes, and chit chat before her procedure. Have had 2 surgical operations and implants here at Scoms oral surgery facility. Both Dr Cobb and a skilled team are top in their oral health professional fields, and I would recommend everyone use them!

Dr. Smith and his entire team delivered a tremendous level of care and support in all stages of my surgery. Everything was explained thoroughly and someone was always available to promptly answer any questions I had. I highly recommend Dr. Smith and South Calgary Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, for any oral surgical procedure.

They seemed quite nice, good at there jobs both the doctors and the nurses and the anesthesiologist, very decent, very kind but very busy.

I was a little apprehensive going in, but, the staff were just wonderful. I had terrific care before, during, and after. It all went off without a hitch.
My instructions for home care following surgery are clear, concise and I’m very comfortable.

I had my wisdom tooth removed, and was really nervous. I had alot of questions and concerns as i just gave birth and was breastfeeding my newborn and worried. But Dr Miller Smith took the time to answer all my concerns and made sure I was comfortable.

My experience having my wisdom teeth removed was excellent. I’m very glad I made the decision to go here.

Their receptionist, Bernadette, is a rude, belligerent, power tripping woman who has called and threatened my family several times. Her incredible ego and fantastical inability to perform the most basic facets of customer service or polite behavior has resulted in her directly impacting my quality of life and has driven me to the point of reconsidering life changing surgery to avoid this hell I am stuck, so that by Gods grace and mercy I may never have to deal with such a selfish, arrogant, and vain woman ever again.

Before coming here, consider how much you enjoy threats over the phone by a receptionist who may control whether or not you get treatment based on her mood that second (and she's always in a terrible mood).

Dr. Fisher and his team were absolutely phenomenal. I have severe PTSD from medical professionals and these guys were so kind, patient, compassionate and caring. They made sure I knew what was going on at all times, and they called to follow up and check in. What an amazing team and I couldn’t be more grateful.

All the staff was so great and Dr. Habijanac was so helpful. The process was very smooth and they walked you through the process at every step.

Very professional. Clean, organized, modern and efficient. The staff is well trained, caring and polite. Doctors and nurses are top notch. Nice to note that they do follow up and are always ready to take your call if you have any problems. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Administration, consult, procedure, after care instruction, supplies, and support are on pointe for wisdom tooth extraction (even if it's a complex case). Wait times can be expected, but are worth it given the quality of care you will receive. Thank you, SCOMS!

I’ve had two procedures at this clinic this year. In both cases the care is excellent, and most importantly it appears the implant will be a complete success.

From the moment I arrived to the office, starting with the front desk, then with the admin and later with the nurse who picked me up to the operation room and meet with other two nurses it have been a tremendous good experience, the nurses in the operation room very nice and professional, treated me very well and explained all the details to me in a kindness good manner to understand each procedure step. I'm very happy with the work they made to me from the nurses, anesthesiologist and the doctor. Thanks so much Dr. Cobb and the excepcional team.

My surgery was for installation of a post for a back molar to eventually fit an implant tooth. I opted to get a special guide made to assist in accurate placement of the post. The procedure was remarkably quick (20 minutes). Dr. Fisher and his staff answered all of my questions and they created a very confident and relaxed atmosphere which I appreciated. The procedure was pain free. Well done and thank you!

I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed here at once, was in and out in about 2 hours. The people were nice & the environment was relaxing. Cost of the procedure was actually quite low based on my comparison with other people - definitely recommend this place.

Dr. Fisher is fantastic. I have had a couple of appointments to receive botox injections for TMJ. I felt at ease and that I was in good care for each visit, including the initial assessment and following appointments to receive injections. The procedure is relatively painless and takes less than 10 minutes to be done.

If you have medical/dental benefits, the clinic does direct billing, so this might save time from having to submit your own claims if your appointment/procedure is covered. The administrative staff are efficient, polite and professional. When I had to postpone my booking on the same day of a scheduled appointment, I was able to do so very easily. I especially appreciate the ability to manage my appointments and such through email just as easily as over the phone.

The wait time at the clinic can get lengthy, however this is a surgical clinic, so it stands to reason that more complicated procedures may be the cause of delays past the scheduled appointment time. There are lots of comfortable places to sit in their bright and spacious waiting area. Bring a book or something to stay entertained while you wait.

The staff was informative, efficient and caring. Dr Smith performed his surgery well-minimal discomfort and no swelling. My son had a great experience from beginning to end.

The staff here really made it easy to understand what was happening and I had minimal complications afterwards.

Needed surgery to have my bottom teeth removed and replaced with 4 on 4. From reception, to the nurses, to the anesthesologist to my surgeon Dr Graham Cobb, I was handled with outstanding care.

Dr Habijanic and his team are all magnificent! I felt very taken care of after having my wisdom teeth removed. The recovery room nurses are lovely and the whole process is so smooth. The office is gorgeous too which is a bonus!

I had 4 wisdom teeth removed & 3/4 weren’t an easy removal. The staff were very friendly and helpful in my understanding of the procedure and the after care.

We saw Dr. Smith for an oral surgery procedure. He took his time to explain the process and answered any questions we had. He is very personable and patiently listens to you. The surgery went well, all the auxiliary staff worked flawlessly with each other. We would highly recommend Dr. Smith and his team to our friends and family for their oral surgery needs.

Incredibly kind and understanding people. They were accommodating for all my needs and were so speedy with my wisdom teeth removal procedure. I'm rating 4 because there was one receptionist that made it very hard to ask questions without interruption and during recovery it seemed everyone was more interested in leaving and getting me out of there than ensuring I was 100%

Had to wait for an hour before I was seen for my scheduled appointment. Disappointed that the surgeon did not speak to me or my husband after surgery about how everything went

Excellent experience, would highly recommend services. Made things very easy and comfortable for my 7 yr old needing extraction of a fused baby tooth. Couldn’t have gone better!

I felt very safe throughout my whole experience. Dr Cobb and his nurse Gabriella made me very at ease with their calm, confident and professional manner, as did the anesthetist. I feel very fortunate to have such a great facility and superb team in my area. If I have any criticism at all it would be my long wait time between my arrival time and the consult before the surgery taking place, purely on the basis that I was already anxious about the procedure. But once I met with Gabriella things happened very quickly and my fears were a laid.

Lovely reception area. Warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. Escorted to the surgery room by a friendly staff member, who got me settled before the surgeon and his *assistant arrived. *She kept me informed and relaxed during the procedure which went very well … thanks to the surgeon, whom I highly recommend.

Initially I was impressed. However, I had a higher risk lower wisdom tooth extraction and the extraction of a molar above it at 63. Both had large cysts. After three weeks I have a very large hole above and loss of feeling in jaw near impacted wisdom tooth extraction. Have placed unanswered calls into them. Very bad follow up.

I had 3 wisdom teeth removed at once and everything went smoothly. I had the initial consultation and the surgery done at the same time. The waiting was longer than the actual surgery but I was happy there were no issues. When I arrived the receptionist explained what to expect and what I need to do. Dr. Cobb and the nurse Tylor were very professional and high skilled individuals. They took care of me very well and I am happy how everything went.

We had a very pleasant experience with scoms. We took our daughter with special needs for extractions and they handled our daughter really well. From the receptionist to the nurse and doctors they were all exceptional. Many thanks to you guys, and more power!

Surgeries of any kind can be very stressful. The team was very friendly and cheerful and that made my time there more relaxed. I was in and out in no time.seemingly.as I don’t recall much after the needle went in my arm until I woke in recovery. The staff there was very attentive and friendly as well.
My husband was given a list of post op instructions, a ‘goodie’ bag of post op needs and we were home in under 2 hours.
I really appreciated the follow up call the next day so I could ask questions my foggy brain could not think of immediately after the surgery.

Wow. Dr. Brett Habijanic and his team are amazing. Absolutely amazing. Literally every single person in his office is kind, helpful, supportive and professional. I cannot say enough wonderful comments for how well I have been taken care of. I have spent the last four years under Dr. Habijanic’s care. Unfortunately, yet a phenomenal blessing. I had a horrific fall 4 years ago and broke my jaw, had multiple fractures and extremely damaged teeth. Dr. Habijanic has had the lucky job of multiple tooth extractions, major bone grafting, implant surgery, revision after revision, year after year to help heal my bone and replace my teeth so I can eat and feel as close to normal again. I cannot even begin to describe the pain I have gone through both physically and mentally. This is still currently the worst part of my life that I deal with every single day. I still have a good amount of healing time and surgery left yet but we are in the home stretch and I cannot say enough how lucky and blessed I am to have had Dr. Habijanic and his team help me and literally replace the insides of my entire mouth for me through this unimaginable time in my life. All I can say is: Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I would recommend Dr. Habijanic in a heartbeat.

We really appreciate the compassionate care received today (6 implants). The behind the scenes paperwork of dealing with insurance and coordinating treatment with another office has been wonderful. Free parking is a terrific bonus. A great team of professionals.

The staff at the South Calgary Oral Surgery were top notch and very professional. They walked me through everything that needed to be completed in my surgery and the day of the surgery everything went extremely well.

What a wonderful experience! The office was able to get me an appointment ASAP and I cannot praise the staff, nurses and doctors enough. The consultation and interaction with nurses was so incredibly friendly, thorough, and inviting. I felt cared for from the moment a walked in to the moment a left. Doctors did an amazing job and I’m feeling more comfortable (physically/mentally) than I did in previous oral surgery at a different office.

Everyone there was very efficient, cordial, helpful and informative. I was looked after quickly but thoroughly. They made me comfortable when I was very nervous. I recommend them very highly.

I've had my wisdom teeth removed and jaw surgery done by Dr. Smith and have been very happy in both cases. In particular, I was very happy with my jaw surgery results as I feel that was life changing. Dr. Smith was great at explaining everything to me along the way and always took time to answer my questions. I felt very prepared for both procedures, which helped to minimize any nervousness that I was experiencing. He was calm, caring and overall very easy to work with. In addition to Dr. Smith, the rest of the staff at South Calgary Oral Surgery have also been great to work with.

Everyone was polite and kind. The only thing I missed was seeing Dr Cobb post operatives just to get an update on how things went.

What an amazing team! Everyone I interacted with including the front reception and accounting was extremely professional, welcoming and kind. Very impressed with the COVID-19 protocols in place, which made me feel safe. During my initial consultation, Dr Cobb was patient and answered all my questions. On the day of the procedure, I was extremely nervous before going under general anesthesia, and the nurse taking care of me had such a calming presence (Sienne, you’re the bomb!) and I couldn’t have asked for a better anesthetist (Dr Yont, you made me instantly feel at ease!). I can’t praise the team or my experience enough!

Highly recommended. I have anxiety and panic attacks. The r the best professionals so far. Thank you so much for making my life better! Cause the last professional didn't. So nice to be a person, not just a number. Thx again guys. Keep up the good work and keep spreading the love.
