Dr. Greef was my doctor with my first pregnancy and she was amazing! Warm and friendly, but also professional and knowledgeable. I always felt that my baby was safe in her care.

Don't even bother going here for any reason. Staff here are very rude, they never give you complete information and they are so full of themselves. I had an out of country patient use their service, returning the patients deposit was a big problem. They kept tossing us up and down, eventually when it was time for the refund they didn't give a thorough breakdown of the cost billed to the patient. The patient was told, you either take the refund given to them or forget it.can you imagine! Very dishonest set of people

Dr. Amanda O’Reily is an amazing OB! My experience at this clinic was extremely positive. She has a very calm demeanour and makes you feel very welcome and comfortable from the minute you meet her. She is very thorough and answered all of my questions each appointment. Unfortunately she was not on call when I was in labour, so she did not deliver our baby. However, Dr. McCubbin delivered our baby and was also very kind, welcoming, and calm during the delivery process. I would highly recommend the South Side Women’s Health Centre for your pregnancy needs! They are absolutely fantastic.

Dr. Hirt Walsh is the best doctor in the world. She is really very supportive and caring doctor.

Not a good experience and I haven't even seen a Dr yet. I have been on a waiting referral since I found out I was pregnant in January. They did not tell my family Dr that they moved my wait time from March/April to June/July - I am due in August. Needless to say, I have found a much more suitable OB/GYN that will see me far sooner.

Dr. Amanda O'Reilly is hands down the very best OBGYN in the entire province, if not the country. No joke. I'm having my 4th child and so thankful I got to have her as my doctor for my last 2. Not only does she genuinely care for her patients, she goes above and beyond what many doctors care to do. Even if it means calling you on her own time because she was worried about you or say even a test result that she felt you'd be stressed about etc. She's never in a rush to get you out of the office (even when you're late, which i have unintentionally been quite often) and she answers every single question you have, no matter the issue. I would recommend her to any Mom to be, whether it's your 1st time or your 10th. Annnd her staff are super friendly and helpful!

Dr. Du Toit is good - incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and direct in her answers. She doesn't makes you feel judged about questions throughout your pregnancy, but was quite pushy about induction once I reached my due date which I did not appreciate considering there was no medical need and I went into labour naturally just fine. Clinic seems to be run efficiently and the wait for booked appointments very reasonable. Paying for parking each time isn't ideal - it would be nice if they covered it the way MIC does in the same building - but that's minor.

This is by far the worst clinic I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The doctors do not take your concerns seriously. I've been dealing with profuse bleeding, extreme pain and very irregular periods for months now. I have a weird growth in my uterus that they decided was "non emergent" so they want to make me wait 8 to 16 months to see a doctor. Stay far away from this clinic. They didn't even call me to tell me the referral my doctor sent was not enough information. I waited 2 months before I finally called and found out. The receptionist when I called was so rude.

Dr Simone is easily one of the best doctors I’ve ever gone to in my life. Good bedside manner, doesn’t rush appointments and genuinely cares about all her patients. It can often be difficult to reach them via phone but not impossible. I definitely recommend this clinic.

Do they ever answer the phone? Im trying to get information about an appointment and every time i try to call phones are "off" during business hours. Like are you kidding me?

If I can, I will give zero star to this place, because I visited this place with my wife.so, the lady at front counter she was so rude with me, I was talking with her very politely, but she was totally misbehaving with me. I really disappointed, I suggest to everyone please choose another place from this.

Dr. Kate griff is best, even she was on duty during my twin delivery. I gave birth vaginal to twins all because the positivity of dr. Kate

The lady at the front is very rude, I came to drop off my wife and she yelled at me in front of everyone telling me that I’m not allowed inside and that it is patients only. I told her I only came in to drop her off and that I’m gonna be waiting in my vehicle. She then continued to yell at me even though I was leaving. I’m not sure why she was so angry because I noticed she was very rude the the patient before me as well. I would recommend finding a different place.

South Side Women's Health is fantastic! Every staff member I spoke to was extremely helpful and professional. The clinic is very clean and well organized with plenty of seating space in the waiting area.

My previous obgyn was Dr. Chua (RIP), who was so amazing I was really nervous to not find another healthcare provider like him. Fortunately, Dr. Kate Greeff is WONDERFUL! She is kind, thorough, professional, and all around great to talk to. She made me feel so comfortable at my first appointment and I really look forward to having her as my obgyn for this pregnancy. So grateful for the care I received at South Side Women's Health and I would certainly recommend this clinic to anyone needing excellent prenatal/obgyn support.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have dealt with this clinic 3 times on the phone and each time I've had a very rude disrespectful unprofessional receptionist, they finally booked me an appointment to be with doctor greeff which I was excited to meet her and they turned around and fired me as a patient because I defended myself after they were being disrespectful and rude to me for the 3rd time and for the last time.

Didn’t think it was possible to find a dr let alone specialist who is compassionate and caring, Dr Hirtwalsh is absolutely amazing, I am so grateful to be in her care.

Dr Greeff is absolutely amazing, she is caring and attentive to my concerns. I hope to have her again in the future!

Already have appointment but still have to wait 30 mins or more. This place is unbelievable. The receptionist won’t explain a dam thing when you ask her a question.

Reception staff with incredibly rude, very short given no provocation. Doctor was disrespectful, and refused to do what i wanted. A simple consulation appoinment has turned into unnecessary second opinions. The student they had helping was very thorough, the doctor not so much. He was making choices for me and ignored my opinion on an elective surgery.

Amazing experience with both pregnancies! Great group of ObGyns.highly recommend! Staff is also very nice)

I haven't experienced anything negative from this location or experienced what has been outlined by many below. I do find that some of the below reviews indicate that people were being rude themselves or lacked comprehension of how busy of a clinic this truly is. Let alone, that these physicians are specialists and are literally running from this location to the Grey Nuns at the drop of a hat. I think many of the negative reviewers are fueling issues and being quite insensitive - my health is by no means more important than another humans, physicians also have obligations outside of us, these are specialists and individuals who work in a very fast paced environment. I found the Medical Receptionist/Admin wonderful and I appreciated her down to earth approach. I didn't mind her on the phone or in person - although, I understood that delays and other minor details were not a representation of her or the clinic itself but rather the reality of a highly busy specialized clinic. I actually really valued her calm demeanor and straight-forward approach that was provided. I am also shocked to see that my OBGYN could ever be spoken of in a negative light. Out of every physician I have ever met - he provided me some of the hardest news paired with the most compassion and empathy - I've ever seen from a physician. I got emotional in my appointment and he truly cared - more than that he took the time with me to explain what was going on delicately and directed me to the right people to assist in the future treatment. After my experience, I could not see myself going to a different OBGYN or clinic. My OBGYN is Dr. Corbett - when I think back to my appointment it still makes me emotional because I feel very lucky that, that news was shared with me from someone who was honestly such a good person as well as an amazing physician. Who showed me compassion and understanding with no judgement. I am forever grateful for the staff at this clinic and hope if you have been sent here you come with compassion and empathy for the hard work going on behind the scenes because they will work just as hard for you and in aiding in your circumstance.

Overall our doctor was professional, but the front desk staff were challenging to deal work and we twice had to argue with them to speak/see our doctor. The first time they initially refused to let us speak to the doctor to discuss a concern, the second time they initially refused to book a required follow up appointment. We see similar reviews from others regarding the front staff. If we could do it again, we would have chosen a different clinic.

It would be awesome if doctor's offices around the city understood how to deal with appointments and walk-ins. I get it that it's busy but when you're well over an hour behind there's a problem. How's about this an appointment walks in half hour early instead of making them sit for 30 minutes then making them wait an additional hour all the while taking walk-ins within 5 minutes of arrival take the appointments early and make the walk-ins wait till after. I know crazy thought it's logical makes perfect sense so therefore it has to be bad.

Saw Dr. Du Toit for my first pregnancy and she was amazing! She had such a good bedside manner and was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Near the end the receptionist knew who I was when I came in which was nice and I was able to book appts in advance so my appts were on time.

My only concerns were that I had to pay for parking every visit, the office was impossible to get through by phone and the lunch break is over 1.5 hours long. Finally the clinic didn't always open at 9am when my Appt was and we had to stand outside and wait.

Overall the Doctor I am seen is indeed a Professional, she is very nice and intelligent. But the front receptionist are just unreasonable sometimes particularly the girl I was on the with today, she has no empathy and non listening skills, image my prescription for fertility has been discontinued and I call the office to let the doctor know about it if possible to prescribe another medication, I was supposed to start my treatment with in the 3rd day if my cycle. This reception I was on the with refused to booked an appointment for to the doctor after when she just said the doctor will be in on Thursday of this week then she still went ahead to say if I want to see the doctor I have to wait until end of November to discuss about my prescription. The worst of all is that I am not sure if they have clinic managers or supervisors because all of this reviews about this front receptionist in this Southside woman’s center is very terrible. Now I have to wait until later in November before I could start my fertility treatment

I will give zero star if I can. Dr. Justin Marillier did the dilivery for my wife and left a tonnie size placental, and caused infection, we went to emergency twice in three days. Then we wanted to make appoinment with our OB, the front desk always asked us to see our family doctor. Never go to this place again.

My doctor here was great! I found that if my appointments were in the morning, I was pretty much in and out with little waiting, but afternoon appointments seemed to spend a lot more time in the waiting room. The only real downfall was having to pay for parking every time.

The Doctors are really great. The office staff have no customer service especially on the phone.

Receptionist here is miserable. Very rude and clearly hates her job. Judging from other reviews this has been a constant theme for a while now. I'm baffled as to why she hasn't been fired yet.
I usually don't give 1 star just for one employee, but the fact that she's been here for so long and a constant problem shows that the managers simply don't care. If they don't care about the face of the clinic, they probably don't care about too much else.

The previous reviews regarding the front staff initially made me very nervous for my first appointment at this clinic and even made nervous to call to confirm my appointment. Thankfully I ended up being nervous for nothing. When I called a month ago to confirm my appointment I spoke to a very sweet lady who even gave me specific directions to avoid the construction around the clinic. During my first visit at this clinic, all front staff I came in contact with were friendly, helpful and pleasant to deal with. My wait time was rather quick as well despite the waiting room being quite full. The nurse who took me to the back was also nice. She weighed me, took my blood pressure and gave me instructions on my urine sample that I am to have ready (and bring with me) to each appointment. My experience with Dr. Bow was tremendous. I am so happy I had to switch OBGYN’s and ended up being reffered to Dr. Bow. I asked a ton of questions, he took his time, made sure to answer each one and was very personable. I am a rather anxious person when it comes to pregnancy but Dr. Bow completely understood and made me feel very comfortable/confident that I was getting the best treatment. I just wanted to let others know about my first few experiences with this clinic to hopefully help ease other women’s anxieties after reading some of the previous reviews.

This one star goes simply to the one receptionist I spoke to today. I see many other similar reviews about poor customer service from receptionists and they are on point. The doctor I saw was great, but this receptionists attitude and the way she spoke to me makes me think she needs to seriously re-think her career. I’m sorry your a miserable person, but maybe try to be a bit more sympathetic and sensitive when speaking to a crying women on the phone. She scoffed at me and my predicament saying “well I don’t know what to tell you”, and also hung up on me after her finally coming to some solution, I gave a sniffling “thank you”. I didn’t get a “your welcome”, or “no problem”, or “someone will get back to you” just “click”.

I got a phoned call from this location yesterday that my family physician referred to me, so, I phoned back today and I asked who is my OBgyne, and she mentioned the name of male Doctor. I asked if there is any female doctor she can recommend to me because personally, I prefer female OBgyne doctor that I'm comfortable with. And of course, it is patient rights to refused. She told me " listened to me, I can't give you female doctor because this is what available, and ask your family doctor and you never come her". Well, personally, I will not come to this location if this person working in the front desk as " medical receptionist" has NO MANNERS and No telephone etiquette the way to speak to your client on the phone. She need to do some proper training and I dont think she deserved to be on the front desk!

Support staff need some serious retraining in client service. I was a patient for 2 births and my IUD insertion and now wanting to book the removal and replacement, I've never been told to use a medi-centre so many times in one conversation. I'll be going to a medi-centre for a referral alright, but to any clinic except this one.

I love this clinic and its doctors. Staff have always been kind and friendly. My primary doc, dr.janmohammed is fantastic. He's easy going, personable, and knowledgeable. All interactions with the other doctors have been pleasant, most notably with the one who delivered my baby. I've been a patient through pregnancy and birth, as well as for some gynecological issues afterwards. I've always had a good experience and trust the care i am given.

Infuriating clinic.

I'm so frustrated by this clinic. I saw Dr. Tom Corbett for my first pregnancy but he was only available for about 20% of appointments and I saw someone different every time. Not to mention he didn't deliver my daughter (July 2016).

I'm currently on my second pregnancy and was called with an appointment time I couldn't make, so I asked for another time. Two months wait! Then they told me if I wanted to see another Dr.then I couldn't be a patient of Corbett's anymore and would have to transfer to another Dr. But two years ago when I tried to transfer to a different Dr.they said it was too difficult.

-Can someone give me a straight answer here? All I want is an OBYN who will see me through the majority of my pregnancy. Is that so hard to ask?

I have been to this clinic many time and every time I noticed the staff is very rude. Front desk and other working ladies are very lazy and bad in communication and think you are nothing. They have no respect for anyone. Doctors behavior is very good at this location. Alberta health should look into this matter as so many people are complaining about their staff here. I would recommend to avoid this clinic
