South Trail Crossing Barbershop

This is the only place I trust for haircuts. I have experienced many shops around the city and let me tell you, It took me a long long time to find a place like this.
I came in last minute on Monday night to get a well deserve haircut. One of their professionals took care of me and exceeded my expectations. I haven't had a professional haircut in 3 months so I was a little nervous. But that came to pass.
A gentleman by the name Mike greeted me and took care of me. From the first interaction till the end, this young man was super positive and friendly. He made me feel at home. Almost as if I knew him for a long time. I let him pick a haircut for me and to surprise me. That he did and more.
I recommend this place 110 % and Mike as well. I'm very happy with the service I was provided.
I had other Barbers in this location and they are all Pros. Please check them out. You will be glad you did.

There was an issue with my first experience and the manager quickly dealt with it, got me back in and took care of everything. I have since gone back quite a few times and they are always great!

The worst haircut I’ve had, it was my second time there I showed the barber the picture and he did something completely different, I wanted to get a fade not even that, there was no attention to detail at all, and you could clearly tell the barber was just trying to finish quickly, never again.

Went in for a fade and got a great haircut and exactly how I wanted. The barber John was perfect in his work and super polite and nice. Very great and professional service here, would definitely reccomend to family and friends.

The interior of this place reminds me of a Habbo Hotel room, real fun and full of interesting displays. But the main thing I want to review, is the service. Had the pleasure of dealing with John. Gave him a description of what I was looking for and got a cut that far exceeded my expectations. It was all good, I brought my little brother in the same day to take advantage of the back to school discount they were offering. Highly recommended STC Barbershop and John!

This place is great for a haircut they take great pride in what they do.this gentleman named Mike did the best haircut i have had in a long time he did everything i asked and beyond! The atmosphere was great and friendly staff was awesome

Came in, stood at the little podium thing where they check you in for about 5 minutes, no one came over or even acknowledged I was there, so I sat down for about 15 more minutes. Still nobody came over. They checked in other people so I guess they were more important. Happened the last time I was there. Won't be returning. Razors edge is just by the Canadian Tire and they are much more professional and courteous

Nice people - Worst cut I’ve had in years, I asked for a low - mid fade and slight clean up. Got a budget quality bean shave instead, wish I wouldn’t have given these folks another shot! Too nice to ask for my money back but I’d gladly take it.guess it’s the hat for a few weeks.

We've been going to see Eddy for almost a year, and he is amazing with both my boys. My little one moves around a lot, can't sit still, and his last stylists cut the back of his head last time, and he has been so scared ever since. But after coming to STC barbershop and meeting Eddy, both my boys get so happy when it comes to their haircut time he is so patient and kind and always gives the boys the best hair cuts and makes sure there okay they always leave so happy and hands full of candy. Thank you so much to this barbershop and to Eddy for making mine and my boys visit so much fun they always wanna come back.

First time coming to STC barber shop and I was very impressed. Booked my appointment with my man Ryan and he did an amazing job and it was exactly what I was looking for. Definitely the best haircut I’ve gotten in a long time and I will definitely be coming back. The environment is very cool and the staff are very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Been going here for a while now and I just gotta say Kyle always comes in clutch with a good cut. Never a bad cut with him and his fades are always clean. Highly recommend!

Excellent place, excellent service, and the place are well organized and distributed so that it is pleasant at all times. Regarding the service, I am satisfied, from the girls at the reception to the barber team, in my case my son and I always get haircuts with Ali and the level and dedication that our barber applies to his work is excellent. I have been regular at this barber shop for nearly 6 years. My to-go barber is Ali. His technique, hospitable approach, kindness and decent conversation are his great attributes, and the evidence of his professionalism.

I must add that this barbershop provides consistent quality service across the floor with the contribution of the other barbers. When my to-go barber is not available I always receive the same quality of service with the other barbers.

The shop has the vibe of friendly-family feeling, and the good part is that the feeling is not fake. Their community engagement events are also worth mentioning. The owner of the establishment always encourages the community events with the participation of his clientele and team members.

Finally, this is the only service provider where I feel delighted when I tip every-time. Because I know they deserve every cent of it.

First time coming in for a cut. And wow I was LUCKY enough to get cut by Ohmar. Phenomenal barber, he’s absolutely COLD with a pair of clippers. It’s hard to find haircuts this good in an atmosphere that’s just as dope to match. If you’re in the area ask for Ohmar, he’ll give you a cut like NO OTHER.

Great atmosphere. Been taking my son here for years & they have always taken good care of him. Every barber here is amazing but Adam is his favourite.

The barber gave a good haircut. When he asked me to sit down I had to walk over some ones cut hair. The razor he used had some ones hair all over it. I found it unsanitary. Management needs to address the cleanliness.

South trail barbershop offers the best service. They are very organized and sanitary especially during this pandemic. Prices are very competitive with other barbershops but their service beats your expectations. Shout out to Maher (Owner) and all the barbers killing it there like Ali, Hash, Abe, Hesham, Sam, Leo, Adel and all the others!

My brothers and I have only ever had our hair cut with the boys and girls at STC. This is the very best barbershop in the country! They always treat us so well and give us treats. Mom even says that Maher is nice to look at while she waits! Thanks for always going above and beyond!

Easily Calgary's Best Barbershop. I am pretty particular with my hair style and usually like only one barber to cut my hair; however, I have had multiple barbers at South Trail and every time its been great.

Being the largest barber shop in Calgary, you never have to sit and wait for a chair to be open.

The shop inside is incredibly clean and have a large selection of hair products.

I have been going to South trail crossing barbershop for about 5 years now. Omar cut my hair and did a great job. He will be my new regular barber from now on. Fantastic service!

Ive been coming here for 2 years now. The hair
cutsgenerally pretty good. However my most recent experience was absolutely less than ideal. Adel left my "fade" very choppy and uneven. I have to go elsewhere to get it touched up. I was his last client of the day so he was in a rush to get me out.

Amazing service here! I was always a salon person and the service and expertise here is better than anything I have done before. Quick and good cut, shave back hairline, hot towel and vacuum after (it's a great idea haha), all for a good price!

This place used to be awesome but the last 3 visit they didn't want to listen to what I wanted and left dissapointed

Ali changed my life. One of the best barbers in Calgary he knows what exactly what you want and what style will make you look good. Highly recommend the whole staff very nice team they have and very friendly! Competitive prices for their quality of their haircuts too!

Most recent was done by Ron and wow he left me speechless. I now live in the far north east but will gladly drive 45 minutes just to get him to cut my hair! There isn't a better barber in town. Enough said.

I have been going here for about 10 years.and this place makes you feel like family! The owner Maher is a great guy. And my Barber ABE is awesome he's been taking care of me and giving me great haircuts since day one.if you want to see the best barber in Canada go se ABE, you won't be sorry.

The whole team acts like a family toward each other and their customers, it's a great vibe! The complimentry face towel is a nice touch leaving you felling fresh. KEEP IT UP!

They may do great cuts - brought a 4 yr old for his first official barber cut (due to covid have been cutting at home) and told them its his first time but no - super rude and rough and just looked super annoyed at him the whole time.it was very awkward. After the cut my child said he was scared of the hairdresser and did not want to go there again. Still tipped the stylist because we are good people but not going here again.

I love getting a cut at Southtrail Crossing Barber! It’s been my barbershop of choice for the last two years. Always a great experience. Never had a bad cut and nothing better than a clean shave to finish!

Got a hot shave for my head and face. Service was top of the line and I was pampered for this shave. Great atmosphere and service.

I’ve been going here for years and the business has never lost its uniqueness or quality. You really get what you pay for and you get the true barber experience. I drive from airdrie to get my hair cut and beard trimmed because I have never been disappointed with the final result. Above getting a great cut, the experience and atmosphere is always awesome.

Had my first cut here today with Shay, my hair was the longest its ever been. Despite that, she actually cut my hair quicker than anyone before and it looked great. She was very down to earth and easy to talk to. I will definitely be coming back here for my future cuts and can recommend Shay to anyone!

Been coming here since it opened. Walk in every time and I never have to wait. Haircuts are always good; even if I don’t know what I’m talking about they seem to figure out what I mean.

Had the pleasure of Adam cut my hair and shape up my beard. I have to say that the experience overall was relaxing and I will continue to return as always. I am very thankful this service exists!

Went in for a haircut and beard trim. Haircut was mediocre but I left with half my beard half an inch longer than the other side. Didn't notice until I got home.
Probably could have done the same job with some rusty scissors and a dusty mirror. Fifty bucks poorly wasted.

30+ straight cuts with Kam, I drive 40km one way for every cut, well worth it, keep it up guys. This place is what you're looking for, you have to come in and try them out, you will be back

Have been here several times, but first review, and first time seeing Leo. He definitely wasn't expecting a woman to sit in his chair this afternoon, but he listened to exactly what I wanted and did the cut perfectly. Did not expect me to countinually chatter at him, and I was able to enjoy having my hair done, something that does not happen at any of the salons I have ever been to. Both my husband and I cannot imagine going anywhere else to have our hair (and his beard) done, and I will be sure to see Leo again the next time I need my hair cut!

I love this barber. I started going to Sam a while back. Not sure how long but I definitely would call him my regular barber. Does an amazing job and all the staff are so friendly and cool. 10/10 for sure.

It's the First time I liked my 13 years old is hair cut. Ali who did my son is hair cut was really professional and really nice took has time cutting my son is hair really made me feel that I got the worth of my money. Going back for sure.

There is absolutely no other barber shop I would go to in Calgary or area other than STCB. More than that, I won’t let anyone other than Abe fix and trim my beard - not only is his word and service impeccable but his artistry beard skills are untouchable. It’s not only about the trim but about a mini spa treatment with hot hotels and straight razor care. If you’re gonna see anyone, go see Abe. You won’t be disappointed.

I really like coming to this place. The service is always top notch and the guy who cuts my hair does a fantastic job. I have been to a lot of butcher shop (I mean barber shops) in my life, and i am very grateful to have found a place that does quality work. I am sure the other services they offer are great too. Just walked in to pick up some products that are extremely hard to find in Calgary. Found them, but they're definitely much more expensive than buying the same product on Amazon. Proasso pre shave is $11.00 at shoppers, here they wanted $ 38.00! Having said that, I was impressed by the place, it was really nicely designed and has a great atmosphere, well done. It's more like a large franchise hair cut place and appears to be pumping out the same type of haircuts popular with barbershops in the middle East. Extremely busy, lot's of kids running around. Not really sure why a middle eastern barbershop needs to have a grenade launcher and m 16 riffle with bullets on display, kind of creepy.
