The salemen was nice and accommodating to a lot of my last minute requests. The car came earlier than the suggested date and in perfect condition

Came to the dealership to get my engine on my 2017 Elantra looked at as it had stalled twice at low speeds. 169,000 km and 9,000km out of third party extended warranty. Was told I needed a new engine. They said I could drive my car for a couple weeks until I should bring it back for more pictures and submitting to Hyundai to see if they would cover it. Drove it off and immediately started glugging and engine light came on and all engine power was gone.
Took it back the following day and they say "oh yes you probably shouldn't drive it". Claim submitted to Hyundai for coverage. 9 business days later it was declined. 8 business days after that they finally gave a quote for a new engine to my mechanic. All while I had to be in a rental that they would not cover.
Later told it was because I had third party warranty and did not do my maintenance at a dealership that Hyundai wouldn't cover it under "Goodwill program" Also those engines they don't make anymore because they are faulty.
The dealership was useless for any help with trade in or even finding new vehicle or helping with options of any sort. All in all will cost me 12,000$ with rental and new engine. I bought the car for 13,000$ in 2020. I would never recommend a Hyundai vehicle if you want anything reliable and would never recommend this dealership.

I showed up back in September and was introduced to Coen. I wanted to order a palisade as we were waiting on our suv to go to the shop for a hail claim and we wanted to sell our suv before getting the palisade and he was understanding and when the next one arrived in early November, it be ours and if we hadn’t sold the suv yet, he’d hold on to the palisade for another 2-3 weeks for us and on top of that, he negotiated with us a great deal with the help of Chad (finance guy). So of course the palisade arrived a month earlier and our suv was still waiting to go into the shop so we passed on it and we were on the list for the one coming in December. Our suv finally went to she shop and the cost or renting a car for 3 weeks was just as expensive as if we had a palisade payment on top of our suv till spring time so instead of getting a rental car and throwing that money in the garbage, I messaged Coen to see if they had some stock and they didn’t but he said we could get the new demo which ended up saving us thousands of dollars instead of waiting and getting a new one later on. Long story short, I signed paperwork that night and rolled off with a brand new vehicle the next day. It’s like Covid never existed lol. Go see Coen, he literally went above and beyond for us, always keeping in contact and getting questions answered.

I just stepped in to the showroom just to get the trade in value of my Jeep. But really I felt to buy the car in STH because of Dio’s excellent gesture and trying to understand and fulfill customer expectations. THANK YOU SO MUCH DIO for your help and kindness.

Came in today for an appointment with Raj. We ran a little late but sent a text beforehand to let him know. When we got there we walked in and looked around for anyone. As no one came out to acknowledge us, we sat at the centre couch area and waited. After 5 minutes of no acknowledgment we left. Pretty awful experience

We bought 2023 Santa fe hybrid at this location.
The sales representative Coen is very honest and kept trying his best for me. He has professional knowledge about cars. He also helped introduced the best options.
The atmosphere here is great, everyone is welcoming.

We Came in today for appointment with John. We wanted to see electric cars and when we said that we are looking for bigger car and other options, sales rep was furious and gave an expression and said " why did you come today? " He was literally asking the reason for not buying and made us feel that we were wasting his time. This is the first time at any dealership, we had humiliated experience. Never coming back.

I had a great experience purchasing my first new car. Nagmat, the sales person who had helped me, was great at understanding my work needs as I work on the road 90% of the time. I was looking for safety, gas efficient, space, and style. He was great at suggesting what type of vehicle would best fit my needs. Not only that he was great at negotiating with me. Everyone at the dealership were friendly, and made the decision a lot easier and smooth. My family member had also purchased from these guys the same week and I’m glad they recommended myself to go visit, and now I recommending you to go visit them as well!

Scammers, avoid them. They quoted me at 100$ to cut and program my after market key. I show up to the appointment and now it's 500$ and they have to order it from Toronto because they refuse to cut an aftermarket key, claiming "it could damage our machine".

Worst purchasing experience I've ever had, with any type of product. Not just a car. The team lied to us, and most likely others. We went back and forth between 3 different vehicles, and on all of them we were told the same story, they were a customer cancel and we had to purchase the 3M, under coating, and premium mats. It didn't make sense to me that 3 different customers in 3 different vehicles had the same story. I called them out and they refused to sell me a vehicle. They said they had to make up revenue because they're selling 1/3 the vehicles they did pre pandemic. If they told you this too, and you bought the vehicle, call AMVIC and make a complaint.

Genuinely friendly, and very efficient. I told them what I wanted, the price I was looking at and I had options immediately. Thank you so much!

We were only suppose to test drive the 2022 tucson but we ended up getting it! We don't have any complaints and over all we are very very satisfied with the service they provided. This is our first time buying a brand new vehicle and we were so happy we went with Hyundai. Their service department noticed that I was in for my first oil change and realized I should have been given a free oil change coupon for my first one, I wasn't given the coupon originally and had no idea. She went out of her way to track down Brian and get me one. She did not have to do that and I would likely still have left a good review.

There is a lot of frustration these days with supply chain issues. Here you will get clear, honest answers regardless of what the outcome might be.

Leilani was outgoing and very well mannered. She secured a deal with me that was more than fair.
I am definitely sufficiently satisfied with the level of service and attentiveness I received while conducting business at the dealership.

I found the car I was interested in online and decided to go and take a look. When I entered the dealership I was paired with Leilani to help me see the car, test drive it, and understand what I needed to know about to vehicle. She wasn’t a typical sales woman. She showed lots of support and kindness through the process to make sure I knew what was needed and help me on my journey to get to where I needed to be. Obviously she wanted to see me in a vehicle from South Trail Hyundai to make a sale, but she wasn’t pushing me into something I didn’t want. We explored other options to see if it was a fit for me. I ended up making a deal on what I thought was comfortable. So far I have been happy with the purchase, and Leilani has been communicating and following up with me post sale. Often times I don’t like going through dealerships on brands that they don’t sell, but she did an outstanding job.
I bought used and I know that she will be there to help with feeling satisfied with my purchase no matter what.
She passed me on to Vinh to finalize the deal, and he was very helpful and to the point.
If you want to deal with someone who truly cares about their customers and just wants you to be happy with your purchase, then I would recommend talking to Leilani. Thank you for being on top of things and wanting nothing but a happy customer. I know that if I need something moving forward she will be there to help, even though she doesn’t have to be.

Went to buy a car and we agreed on everything like the price and total roughly around 26000 for the car, (Elantra 2023)
Now a week pass by and they couldn’t get me the car and finally when they got the car they said the price of the car is different because it’s a demo and more stuff is added on,
excuse me, excuse me.
I never told you guys to add anything on as per I told you exactly what car I needed and you guys showed me that car promised me that vehicle and later on change the story and telling me now the total is 33000.

Please be aware before you sign any documents as per they can change the total value especially for the people with visible minority groups.

Just recently bought a used vehicle from here and the sales process was great. Salesman was professional and informative. Took care of my concerns and overall went very smoothly. That being said, after I signed the papers I was told I need to wait a few days before picking up my truck for some repairs that were discussed before buying. It went from a few days to almost 2 weeks before I was able to drive my vehicle. And even so 3 out of the 5 things are not even fixed and I will need to come back on separate occasions in order to get those fixed. I have a fairly busy schedule so having to come back is an inconvenience for me. I did not appreciate the delay and even after waiting it was still not completed as discussed.

I do hate car dealership. I got brand new car in the past, the first 1 kept dying during winter and the second one isn’t good either. I ended up in this Hyundai dealership bec it is closest to where my car broke down. I am desperate to go home with my family & im still 350 km away from my home. I still do not fancy dealership as they always wanted to get extra from consumers but this one had the most passionate workers, they are like angels who will make you feel relaxed in a place that you hated to be in. All the personnel are friendly, Sukh is the best guy ever. If the car that he sold me fail me like what happened to my 2 brand new car- I wont get mad at him. Even his manager [i didnt get his name] is so connected to whats been happening. All I could say, is I am so lucky that I ended up in a right place. And I am so thankful with that.

Anyone who tries to buy a car and living outside calgary don’t even bother to call them …they don’t sell cars to people who living outside calgary…. And the reason is INVENTORY SHORTAGE …that’s strange cause every delarship update the buying process online after COVID-19. Strange!
They have couple of cars of my choice but the sales person just denied inquiry.

Brought my brothers Hyundai SUV for service got a quote approved it for the work, They fixed and we got a phone call it is ready for pick up. Went there picked up the car drove away from the dealership, two blocks from the service shop the car started with the same issue we brought it for. We went back to the service shop obviously upset. That is where I was like wow these people are professionals, From front desk Brittany all the way to the manager Scott they were superb handled our issue explained to us the miss-communication about the extra issue the technician has noted and what it is causing but we have never been told that during the call we received. They apologized and they will make it up to us, Next day I received a call from the manager to get our car it was all ready to go, We got our car all fixed. Very happy with the service we received after all. I will not hesitate to refer anyone to this dealership or my next car to be Hyundai

We found JD to be wonderful to work with. He was very informative, patient, kind, and low-pressure - pretty much everything we could want in a car sales person. The dealership offers unlimited free car washes with a new car purchase, and they have a great kids' play area that kept our daughter occupied for pretty much the duration of our time there.

Roughly 18 months after vehicle purchase from South Trail Hyundai, the HomeLink on my 2020 Sonata failed. It would not open the garage door. I attempted to re-pair the HL and the opener with no resulting change. On June 21, I took the vehicle in to Service Advisor Monique Bezeau, who to that point I had considered the best in the business. She reported that the tech couldn't/wouldn't correct the problem, that a new RV mirror assembly would be required and that she would order the part which should take a week to arrive.

On July 22, not having received a single word from South Trail Hyundai about the part that was supposedly on order, I attempted to email Monique for an update. No-go; the email bounced.

On July 23 I received a note from Service Coordinator Brittany Harmes advising me that Monique had left STH and "as for the part I have given the information to our parts department and service manager and they are looking into it. I will have an update for you as soon as possible and hopefully by the end of today. " That is the last I heard from Ms. Harmes or anyone else from South Trail Hyundai about the subject.

On August 19 I came to the decision that South Trail Hyundai figures my issues are not worth the trouble to resolve, and I returned to my try-this try-that methodology developed over a 40-year career in IT. Two hours later, I had the HL working the way it should.

I figure that if I pay top dollar for all the bells and whistles in a vehicle, then the bells better ring and the whistles better blow when I want'em to. And if they don't, the dealership better work on them until they do. South Trail Hyundai didn't.

I am considering replacing the Sonata with a vehicle more conducive to dealing with Calgary's unplowed winter residential roads. Will I again purchase from South Trail Hyundai? Sure I will, when pigs fly. Will future service of the Sonata be done at South Trail? Not very likely.

What an awesome experience purchasing a new vehicle from South Trail Hyundai. We had the pleasure of being assisted by Iyrina. She is extremely knowledgeable with the Hyundai brand. For us, her knowledge and ability to convey to us the features of the vehicle where one of the reason we chose South Trail Hyundai. Brittany, in the Finance Department, was also amazing in assisting with the purchase and explaining options. Vinh and his team are amazing. 5 stars for sure!

Overall an excellent experience here. Bit of a rough start but once I connected with Rashelle in sales I was very pleased. She was very helpful and quick to respond to my questions. Jared helped me out a ton to get into the vehicle I wanted at the right price. Kavvy was great and got me in and out on the finance side. I went in looking for a vehicle half an hour before they closed just to look around and that is when I got to meet Tim Page. He stayed with me for over 2 hours going over everything and discussed all my options, we managed to find the perfect vehicle that I am absolutely in love with.
Even after the purchase he follows up to make sure everything is going great, the customer service I have experienced at South Trail is hands down the best I can think of.

I'm amazed by all positive reviews this was not good experience for me. I initially went in looking at a new vehicle and had appraisal done on my vehicle I returned 2 weeks later to purchase the vehicle and was told my truck has now depreciation of $ 2000 in 2 weeks. Then the sales contract was brought to me and I asked specifically if there will be any surprises once I went to finance I was reassured the payment on the contract was it. The payment was fine but I was shocked to be told that I'd have to pay the gst on my trade which was never told this should have been all figured out in initial deal with sales manager. Not sure if was intentional or they made a mistake I just warn watch the numbers and ask questions. I'm sorry I can't recommend this dealership.

The one sales person, Ryan, was a sly, a liar and a dirty car-salesman. They presented different prices at two separate events, tried to sell us a bunch of add-on features we didn’t want or need, saying they can’t remove the added feature, but we were looking to buy a brand new car. Their fees (outside delivery charges) were over 2k, other Hyundai dealerships were under 500 all in fees. Furthermore, they were selling us a 2020 model at the same price of a 2021 model! When confronted he said he can sell us a 2021.just like that. Not even an explanation. The interesting part is that his manager was playing along. Dirty tactics and possibly they may be guilty of price discrimination. We will be filing a complaint with AMVIC.

When picking up my new Palisade I received the most thorough run down of my car which was so greatly appreciated as it has so many features.only thing missed was how to disengage the automatic parking break.and winter floor mats which I missed negotiating in on the car deal.: (

I Had my 3M put on my new Palisade and was given a n/c loaner vehicle which was such a great surprise as not many places offer a loaner when your vehicle is in for service. The first oil charge free gift was a really nice touch too.wish I had winter floor mats too though.: D

Unlucky circumstances that I was seeking a new vehicle but I met with Iryna after viewing this dealership's used vehicle inventory. Iryna was absolutely fantastic to work with so accommodating with my changing schedule and showing me all the features of the vehicles I was test driving. Am so pleased with the vehicle I chose and fits exactly what I need. Working with Iryna especially made the purchase smooth and painless. She knows her stuff and made for a great experience at this dealership - highly recommend!

My experience buying my car at South Trail Hyundai was outstanding! Maria was amazing. She was patient, thoughtful and knowledgeable. She wasn’t pushy, took her time in answering our questions or addressing our concerns. She went above and beyond to make sure we get everything we need. I’m very pleased and can’t wait to pick up my new car!

Poor customer service post sale. No communication between sales and service on agreed services. There always seems to be a surprise charge after every service that should have been covered on the agreed sale of the car.

I have even tried talking to my sales associate before bringing the car in to assure there will be no surprise charges. Promises made, promises not followed through.

Last time I was in for service, they tried to get me to add service items that they said were "Recommended or "Required". That would have added several hundred dollars to my bill. I declined, asking for a list of items. Cross referenced with Hyundai Canada's recommended services. Of the 4 or 5 services they recommended, only one matched up with their site, that one was only a recommendation item as well.

Even when I have tried to bring these concerns up with the dealership. Very little ownership has ever been taken on any mistakes made. I have tried responding to service surveys honestly, with clear constructive criticism, but have never had any responses or feedback. In fact I seem to be avoided by my sales associate when I bring my car in, for (again) agreed complimentary car washes.

Mistakes happen, but when they happen nearly every time you need to interact with them. With no ownership taken. That really isn't acceptable.

Maria Jacso did a great job showing us the Tucson. I would recommend talking to her if you are in the market for a Hyundai.

I cannot say enough great things regarding my experience with Iryna Yakubovska when looking to purchase a vehicle here.

She spent hours answering my questions, walking me through the process and teaching me about my vehicle once we got to that point. Polite and courtesy is an understatement. She was honest, straightforward and did not try to steer me towards something I wasn’t interested in.

The entire team was open and direct. It was a pleasure to work with everyone on their team.

We were in the market for a new vehicle and had been shopping around at different dealerships. My husband decided to go and check out South Trail Hyundai and we could not be happier that we did. Several other dealerships had given us the run around. Meeting our Hyundai Salesman Kylian was a relief. No pressure salesmanship. He let the Palisade sell itself. From the test drive to the finalization of the paperwork we could not be happier that we bought from South Trail Hyundai. We have stopped in a couple of times (had the car for not quite 2 weeks) to get the vehicle washed, Kylian has always been available, even washed my car for me today and installed my new Weather tech floor liners. I can not say enough good things about South Trail Hyundai.

I went here to purchase a new car and my experience was great! Maria was awesome to deal with and she never made me feel like she was just trying to make a sale. She took the time to make sure I knew every part of my new vehicle and made the overall experience pretty stress-free and seamless!

The people were very helpful and our salesman was kilian and he was very honest and helped us with everything and was able to answer all my questions and also I can’t walk so he let me hang on him and he helped me through the dealership and even helped me to the washroom.he is very nice. I have just purchased my third Hyundai product this week from South Trail Hyundai! I worked with Tim P. Who was amazing and super patient. (and I truly mean SUPER patient) He understood what I was looking for and when we could not come up with a trade that I could agree to, he came up with an alternate plan that made me feel like he was listening and understood - in the end we came up with a plan that worked and I have a brand new Tucson Ultimate with all the bells and whistles!
