Purchasing our Kia Seltos from South Trail Kia was a very positive experience for my adult daughters and I. We want to especially commend Joe Jimenco who's sincere, well informed, patient and straight forward demeanor we appreciated very much. He went above and beyond by delivering the car to my home. We found as well the stuff of the finance and service departments straight forward, helpful and no pressure approach.

Got an appointment within a week of calling and my car was ready before noon. When I picked it up it was fast and very well priced for an oil change. I asked for help with my starter and the lady helping me was great! I have gone back multiple times and the service is still the same excellent service. I would highly recommend going to see them for all of your service needs!

Yesterday I had an emergency with my 2019 Stinger. A 5/16th J bolt punctured my left rear tire. Being close to South Trail Kia I popped in. I was met with a smile by a lovely, knowledgeable and accommodating Denise, the service writer. What a pleasure to meet such a wonderful person in a time of so much negativity. She got my car in almost immediately, but it was determined the damage was too extensive to repair. So she got another wonderful lady, a lube technician by the name of Jocelyn to take time to drive me home to get another set of tires to replace all 4. This is above and beyond any service expected. Within a couple of hours, no appointment made, the car was sitting on its new rubber and to top it off, they had washed my car before returning it. The bill was negligible and again a complete surprise. I did speak with the service Mgr, Dave, also smiling, accommodating and very knowledgeable to let him know how wonderful my experience had been with his people. I will be returning to South Trail Kia for all my automotive needs and will let everyone I know, this is a dealership you can trust and more importantly enjoy. Denise, Jocelyn and Dave, thank you for the truly wonderful experience. I will not forget you guys.

Booked my car in for a diagnostic issue. Was a long a painful process but regardless services rendered where services rendered. The issue all become apparent when talking to the service manager David about billing concerns. David decided to escalate the issue himself by accusing me the customer for talking disrespectfully to the girl behind the counter that I had no issues with and was quite pleasant the entire time to deal with (shelby, great work you deserve a raise) David then accused me and decided to get up into my face 6 inches away and pointing his fingers in my face telling me what a terrible person i was and not to talk to him how i was. I asked to speak with another manager about davids actions and the new manager seemed concerned but not fully. Seems like managers at south trail kia need to go through a little more training before they have aggravated assault charges filed against them for letting their emotions get in the way of business.

Service rep said 45$ for seasonal tire swap. Final total included 7$ more for “shop supplies”. This the second time I have done a tire swap at KIA and the second time I have been extra/charged like this. If this is a standard charge, tell people up front. Otherwise everything fine.

My experience with South Trail Kia was amazing. People who really care about you, who is willing to work out the best deal for you. I just got my new van there and they made me feel comfortable in my decision. Ryan and Ha were great to work with people who are honest, and humble, and willing to make things work. Great place to go to if you are looking for a dealership that has good integrity, who are honest, and a dealership that has a client first mentality.

and had us leaving that same day with a smile and a very reliable vehicle that was almost exactly what we wanted. With a family of four and a large dog this is the perfect SUV for us.

Service used to be good but lately it is anything but. Simple things that were supposed to be done weren't and as a result I was left with having to bring my vehicle back for a second appointment to complete the work that I initially paid for. Follow up on 2 seperate warranty inquiries have been ignored repeatedly and it has taken multiple phone calls to get issues addressed. I am very disappointed with the poor customer service.

Went in for warranty service and ended up getting quoted close to $2500 worth of work they wanted to do for no reason. Only thing that may actually need doing is a brake replacement, which can be done for much less money elsewhere.

Got me in quickly, checked what they said they would and finished the job as advised. They always forget to reset my headlight setting to Auto and I always remember to check for it when I pick up my washed car. Fair trade.

Very disappointed with my detailing service. Not worth the time and cost. They had the car 24 hrs. I won’t be going there again for any services. My car was dirty, but I could go to bubbles and get the same quality of work for a third of the price or less.

I will preface my review by mentioning i waited over a year to get a new vehicle due to bad experiences at other dealerships.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Alexandru Batog (Sales) and Shimpei Kobayashi (Financing) over at South Trail Kia during the purchase of my 2022 Kia Seltos.

Alexandru was extremely friendly and willing to take the time to discuss every feature of the vehicle. Alexandru answered every one of my questions without ever making me feel the least bit pressured.

During the process of purchasing my vehicle we were also assisted by Shimpei Kobayashi in regards to the the different financing and leasing options available to me. Shimpei Kobayashi was able to assist me with finding an aesthetic warranty that will keep my vehicle looking fresh and new in the years to come.

Zero stars should be available. Negotiated a deal in good faith via telephone. We had a deal, then they sold the vehicle while I was making my way to the dealership to finalize the credit app and pay the deposit. AFTER they put $1K on my card they told me that they sold the vehicle to someone else 20 minutes ago. Unbelievably unethical. We will never deal with them or their affiliated dealerships.

Could rate this dealer negative stars if I could! The salesperson we encountered- Ryan, was the worst car salesman we had ever met. He was pushy, annoying, and never listened to nor cared for what we were in the market for. Not only that but this dealership is incredibly overpriced, he kept pushing an Alberta weather package for over $4,500 when other delars offered the same package much cheaper at $1,500. If on the market for a kia do not go here.

Tried to call Shimpei on my soonest convenient time but was not answered today 05-August, left a message but was not called back yet…

This is my first time to loan a car since we arrived in Canada last 2015, i bought a pre owned car, the Finance Manager Serge and Shimpei were not transparent about the interest rates and the add on warranty w/c was $2500. At first there was deceit already, the instalment price was based on the price that has the add on warranty and they did not tell me over the phone and even at the last part of our conversation when i was about to get the Unit, they still lie to me about the interest rate.i was also given a waiver that says they didn’t push the warranty add on for me to be able to get the car but was it always in the amount of the loan at the first time they told me about the instalment rates and i wasn’t told that i can choose not to get that warranty. I have checked the reviews which says good things about Kia South Trail but why did i get a bad misrepresentation about the Branch? I won’t recommend this Kia Branch. Definitely first impressions last that’s why i won’t come back here…. GFY

We purchased a preowned Tesla model S from this Kia dealership. Steve Hwang was our sale rep. He was very friendly to deal with. The purchase experience was very pleasant and transaction went smoothly. There were a couple cosmetic repairs outstanding when we picked up the car but it was communicated to me the reasons why. Since it’s a Tesla, all parts and service has to be done through Tesla. There were a list of things that they promised to do and they completed them all!

Thank you Steve for going above and beyond in every aspect to ensure we’re happy with our purchase.

They were friendly and kind, however they weren’t clear about cost. They didn’t mention once that if the problem wasn’t covered by warranty I’d have to pay $88 for their time just to diagnose the problem (that there apparently wasn’t a problem, the person who did my oil change was apparently wrong.) - I was frustrated with how I was trying to ask questions but they didn’t make the possibility of a cost clear at all.

Just had the KIA in for a checkup and detailing. Denise in service was very friendly and helpful. We were able to bring the car in earlier than scheduled and everything worked out great. I like the way KIA emailed me a recap of the free inspection so I could see what needed to be done. I could also choose which items I wanted them to complete or not. The detailing package was fairly priced and they did a good job overall.

The service is always awesome when get my car serviced. However this time I had a burnt out tail light bulb and I had it replaced. When I looked over my bill I found a labour charge of 43 dollars to replace a 5 dollar bulb. Had I know I was being charged a half labour I would have replaced the bulb myself. I contacted the service rep and have not heard back

Absolutely horrible service with South Trail Kia. They over promised and under delivered 100%. Once I ordered my 2021 Kia K5 I was left in the wind and had to wait over 11 weeks. They promised me a date the car would arrive not once but twice and both times went back on their promises and played me around the entire time. Even up to the point of sending in an email to cancel my order and demand my deposit back they never even replied to my email or returned my calls! Appalling service.

I’d been looking for a car for two months and finally saw the perfect 2013 Kia Rio LX. I worked with Alex Batog, who made the sale super easy and not scary at all (which is what I thought it would be). The car was warmed up and ready for a test drive the moment our appointment started. During the test drive there was a funny sound being made, so Alex made sure to have the mechanic take a look at it. They found the problem and fixed the noise, then I took the car into a third-party mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. The mechanic found something near the brakes that needed to be lubricated, and when I brought it into Alex he had services fix it right away. The detailing was wonderful as well. I was disappointed the car didn’t come with a spare tire or tire repair kit, but Alex found one for me at no extra cost. This was a really smooth sale considering how terrified I was of making a (big for me) purchase. I highly recommend South Trail Kia, and suggest you request Alex Batog by name!

This dealership followed all Covid protocols, but it didn’t feel difficult to make an appointment for multiple test drives, or a meeting with a salesperson. I dealt with Edgard, and he was happy to answer all my questions without being overly pushy. My car arrived many weeks ahead of schedule and I’m very happy!

I had a very pleasant experience at South Trail Kia. Felipe Pacheco helped me a lot through this purchase. Always available for clarifying information and helping me make the best choice. He was very honest and transparent with me throughout the entire process. The finance manager Serge was also very helpful in the closing processes of the purchase.
The dealership follows all COVID protocols and we felt very safe while there.

If you're in the market for a new vehicle, you need to stop by South Trail Kia, and talk with Matthew St. Lewis. His passion, enthusiasm, professionalism, and thoroughness explaining the features provided us with a great experience. He spent a lot of time going through the new features so we were comfortable with them when we left the dealership on our test drives. My wife and I are thankful and lucky we had Matthew as our salesperson, as past experiences at other dealerships have left us needing more.

I am very disappointed with this dealership. I saw add on Facebook by sales man Edger (my best guess with name). Asking price is about 17000 for Hyundai Santa fe. I offer him 16000. He agreed and told me come to dealership. We went there and after spending around 1.5 hours, the sales man and manager told to me that Edger mistakenly priced wrong on Facebook. The actual price is 18000.but we will take 17000 from you. I denied and come back home.after 2 weeks wait and check their price from Edger and still 17000. So they waste my 3 hours include travel because of lie of that dealership. So please care full about their wording. They don't own their promise or wordings.

Not overly impressed currently. A month ago I purchased a used vehicle from South trail KIA. We received awesome service when we first went in, We were greeted immediately and the purchase process was smooth. We test drove the vehicle and it drove awesome. No issues at all it seemed. It had low kms looked like a great purchase at the time. The financing process went great. Kramer was amazing, as a matter of fact probably the only person there that treated us well after the purchase was complete. Fast forward to 2 days after purchase. Brakes started to squeal like crazy (I have video proof of this) we were told to bring the vehicle back in for them to fix it. Apparently the brakes and rotors were done by them before we purchased the vehicle. Brought the vehicle in, they took a look at it, told me they washed the brakes off and they were good and not squealing. Gave me some excuse about the salt that calgary uses on the roads causes it to happen even though they had Apparently just put new brakes on and I had only driven it a couple of days. I have also never had a vehicle do this in all the years I have driven on Calgary roads. So I took the vehicle back and within a day it was squealing again. I was told to bring the vehicle back in again, however this time I was asked for video proof as of course the vehicle didn't make a sound when I brought it back. I provided the video proof and had to show up at the dealership to get an answer to my email. They took the vehicle back and gave me a loaner vehicle until they had it fixed which I was appreciative of. They called me a couple of days later to pick up the vehicle as they stated they put brand new brakes on and did a full brake service. Great! I went right in and picked up the vehicle. I was however a bit suspicious as there was no paperwork for the work they did, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and took the vehicle. Low and behold, its been a few weeks and the vehicle is now squealing again. I'm not too sure what it's going to take to get this vehicle fixed properly. This isn't even to mention the problems that were not disclosed to us when we were purchasing the vehicle, example the giant crack/hole in the back door panel which I didn't see because we didn't look straight up when we looked initially, or the fact that the speakers in the vehicle are blown. The only damage disclosed was the dents in the hood. I feel seriously duped and that I'm now paying $30,000 for a junk car thats always going to squeal and have issues. I went to a dealer to avoid this from a private sale as I have had zero luck with that as well. Now here I am again. Awesome! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE! The whole time all of this was happening they just seemed annoyed with us coming in. It was not a comfortable experience. I didn't want to be there any more than they wanted me there. If this would have been fixed from the beginning, I would never have had to return. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because Kramer was awesome! He was the only one that actually a helped us!

I am reviewing Service department here. The manager, Tyler is phenomenal, he is really caring, responsible, honest and will go above and beyond for the customers. He deserves a big raise.
