Drove a friend here to pick up his new/used truck after receiving a signed bill of sale with his bank draft in hand. Sales manager informed my friend since the terms of the sale were not written on the BOS (by them mind you) it is invalid. The terms were a cash sale, sales manager demanded that it be financed for min 6 months and pulled the truck because financing is not approved (not required either paying full amount cash). Extremely disappointed in the lack of integrity this establishment has. They would rather get a kickback through a finance program than honour a papered agreement. Say NO to South Trail!

If you are thinking to sell your car to this dealer, beware!

Trying to maximize profit either way, buying or selling car with dirty sales tactics

Here’s my experience selling my car after they did the inspection

1. There are 25 hail damages in the hood. My response: Really? I know there are few but you say 25?

2. Does your leased car have leased protection? Even if we buyout the car, we have to pay for any damage to the car. My response: Really? I know if I return the car after lease expired, I have to pay for any damage but if I buy the car after lease then I still have to pay the dealer for any damage to the car? His response - Yes

3. We will buyout your leased car for $36k and we would sell it after for $41k. My response: Thank you for your time and I walked out

I know dealers sell the same model 2019 with 60k mileage for $45k and model 2020 90k mileage for $46k. I would not be suprised if they actually sell the car for $50k

People buying these expensive used cars from the dealers are getting rip-off

I would have accepted the lowballed offer if

1. Didn’t mention anything about 25 hail damages. I know there are few but not 25

2. Didn’t mention anything about leased protection. It just gave me another idea how people are getting rip-off

3. Didn’t mention how much they would sell it. That was a dirty sales tactic to tell me they will make $5k profit off it. I know they would sell it for $45-50k and make 10-15k profit off it.

To maximize profit off commision? Looks like it

Shoutout to Logan and Darcy for helping us find the perfect vehicle today. They were very nice, straightforward, not pushy, and didn’t try to upsell unnecessary stuff. Anyone buying a Nissan should ask for Logan cause he was wonderful to work with. Looking forward to picking up our Nissan Qashqai in a few weeks!

I didn't buy a car here I just had a interview here for washbay job and interview guy was that grumpy boss with a bad attitude no one likes. He wasn't very nice, or polite or even pleasant. So sad, love dad. I didn't get the job, thank you very much wasting my time, you know what I mean Mr. Grump. Thank my lucky star cereal he didn't like my face. Five stars for the vehicle quality of Nissan, very solid quality and I have driven these vehicles, but also unaffordable if you wash cars for a living and still want to eat.

Their Parts Department was a life saver, when it came to having the right parts available (and even willing to allow me to exchange one that got damaged during instalation, for no additional charge and after hours). Will be back and will also consider using other dealership services!

Ask for Logan Bullock! We recently got our Nissan Rogue from South Trail Nissan. Our car salesman, Logan, was really knowledgeable and detailed in his explanation about the various features offered in the car. He provided exceptional customer service. The entire staff at South Trail Nissan is friendly and made our car buying experience seamless. It’s a beautiful clean dealership with complementary hot beverages (great for the winter days) :)

Tried to make me sign a document with a purchase price set in stone when I didn't even look at the vehicle and was set to come in on the weekend. Offered $2500 to hold the truck and as long as everything was good I was set on buying it. They refused to discuss numbers in person and sent me multiple messages asking me what I wanted for a price. I explained I needed to see the truck in person before I would agree to anything in stone and then they told me someone else was interested in the truck. Long story short just avoid these people. Quite a few dealerships have already reached out and told me I am not the first one this has happened to. Shady way to do business. So happy I didn't buy their lemon.

Horrible dealership they are everything wrong with a car dealership. Once they sell you a car they really don't care about you. But more important is the fact that they lie on the Mechanical Fitness Assessment report they offer you for the car you buy. CODY CROSS Tech Trade Cert # 134659a did the inspection on my car, he reported the brake were 8mm front and 6mm back, the front/rear spindles where marked as complies. The date on rthe ticket was June 21/22. This week I had to have $1250.00 brake job and left week I had $1125.00 worth of work to the spindles. This has all happened after 5100 km. Also when I picked up the car after buying it the seats where broken and the new windshield already had a crack. These guy are the worst

I recently bought a used vehicle from them. The sales person Logan, was great to deal with. There were some mechanical issues with the vehicle that were not apparent from the test drive. Logan was very helpful and responsive with my concerns, and got the problems fixed for me. I give 5 stars for Logan alone, he made the experience a positive one overall.

Nik and Matt were fantastic to work with. I zoned in on a car, test drove it Monday and had it in my possession by Thursday with a lot of extras that I wasn’t expecting (ie winter tires on rims in the trunk)

100 percent will buy from here again and will recommend to others.

I walked into this dealership on a whim where I was greeted by Ify. I told him what i was looking for and what I needed to happen in order to make a deal. They made it happen without any hesitation. Even with having to find the colour I was looking for, they managed to get it all done in just 4 days. Thanks to Ify, Darcy and all involved. This was a great buying experience.

We are first time car buyers. Reading all the stories online combined with knowing the stock shortage situation, we were dreading going into a dealership a little bit. But our experience at South Trail Nissan turned out to be rather smooth and pleasant. And we walked away with a brand new Kicks on our first visit! A special shoutout to Devyn, our salesperson. She was warm, friendly and very gunuine. She took her time to listen to us and answer our questions. Once we got things narrowed down, she offered us straight forward informtion on the model we set our eyes on and went through trim choices and financing options with us. There was no hard selling, no add-ons you don't want, just the information necessary to make our own informed decision. We went back and forth a little with more questions and options but Devyn was patient and considerate throughout. The rest of the process and pick up was pretty smooth too. From the financing manager to the delivery consultant and to the customer service manager, everyone was professional. I would definitely recommend South Trail Nissan. And be sure to ask for Devyn. We will be back!

New dealership has a great sales staff to serve you. I was searching for a fairly new SUV, and was pleasantly surprised, within 24 hours, several vehicles were found. I test drove the one I was most interested in, in a few days everything was arranged. A huge shoutout goes to my sales tech, Logan, awesome service. A complete explanation of electronics followed, greatly appreciated. Fantastic experience.

Terrible waste of my time. They contacted me about buying my car. I made my bottom line very clear to them. They had me come in and then without even looking at the car tried sleaze ball used car salesman tactics to badger me. These guys can’t get new cars to sell (they had 5 cars in stock) so they are trying to screw buyers and sellers alike. Seller Beware! I feel like I need to have a shower and burn my clothes after speaking with these low lifes…

After looking at several dealerships that claimed to have inventory online, and getting disappointed when they in fact didn't, we tried South Trail Nissan.

Originally contacted them online and set up an appointment for the next day Saturday. To our surprise the car we wanted was in stock, our specialist Devyn was super helpful in explaining the car, discounts and arranging a test drive, all the time with a great attitude and smile! This was not the case with most other dealerships where we were just ignored as if we weren't serious about a car. Devyn treated us the opposite and was positive and excited to fill us in on our potential new vehicle with zero pressure at all, because of this and the quality of our new Sentra, we put a deposit down only hours later!

Would highly recommend Devyn and South Trail nissan in general for anyone looking for a low pressure, pleasant and informative experience!

My least favorite buying experience yet. All the numbers from trade in value to extras put onto new vehicle were hidden until it was too late to back out of deal. Unfortunately the whole process left me feeling taken advantage of.

Had no knock down another star. Wish they would take the truck back so I don't have to deal with them. After multiple reminders to bring my truck in for service at 8: 30 they weren't even open the day I arrived.

Open and honest review while looking for a new vehicle.
Southtrail Nissan is definitely the place to go.
Being open for only a few years, many people may not realize it's right around the corner in New Brighton. It's a hidden gem.
First off this place is beautiful. Well organized with a friendly atmosphere. We brought our 2 children under the age of 8 and even the kids were greeted! They like being noticed ha ha.
I had booked an appt online. Rae was efficient and helpful.
When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly face named Devyn. Devyn was informative and made us feel comfortable right off the bat. She worked hard to get us a great deal with no BS. She's confident without being arrogant and so friendly that we felt at ease.
When we agreed upon a purchase price, the dreaded appointment with the financial manager was next. BUT DON'T FREAK OUT! I spoke with Darcy and instantly felt comfortable. He's calm and speaks to you, not at you. He was very informative and open and honest. He was quick to respond to questions I had even after I had already picked up the vehicle. I left this appointment feeling respected and not taken advantage of.

Also had a short interaction with Paul and he was great! Not pushy at all and honest.
Every single person I interacted with, however short the conversation, was lovely.
So no matter if you find the perfect vehicle or not, you'll leave here feeling super positive. Best dealership experience I've had in a very long time.
Thank you so much to Devyn, Darcy and Paul for giving us a relaxed and stress-free experience. We're excited to drive our new vehicle!

Pretty bad experience overall.
Had emails confirming a vehicle I had inquired about is "in-transit" (April 9th) and would land close to the end of April, so I requested the "window sticker" for that vehicle to check included options. That was provided promptly and all looked good, so we worked out a price. I went to the dealership a couple days later (April 11th) and met with another rep to sign papers and place a deposit. I was told again that the vehicle would be arriving close to end of the month.
The next day a finance specialist called to confirm a few things also saying they would call back and expected the vehicle to arrive close to the end of the month.
In order to line up insurance I'd contacted (April 13th) the last rep I'd dealt with to attain the VIN. No answer after text and voicemail. At that point I'd called the reception and asked for the manager, as something did not seem right. The manager then told me the truck I had just "bought" was not going to be in at the end of the month. After questioning why and being told it was due to supply chain issues I knew they had bait and switched me. The in-transit vehicle I had bought didn't exist and all of the info they sent me was false. I had just pre-ordered a vehicle that wouldn't arrive for 4-5 months. The window sticker they sent me I can only assume was for a vehicle that they had sold in the past.
So as an attempt to get a vehicle in my target timeline I had to pivot to other colors which would mean to source from other dealerships. This went nowhere besides trying to upsell a vehicle with added features I don't require.
In the end I'm thankful I was able to get my deposit back. I took my business elsewhere and I have the vehicle I want now.

I just had my car serviced at this Nissan dealership and was absolutely delighted with the customer service I received. From start to finish all my questions were answered and taken care of. From the receptionist Jasmine, to the customer service rep. Sam, I was treated excellently. It is a beautiful facility, very clean and new and very safe. It’s also located close to my home, so also a plus for me. I would highly recommend using this dealership for all your Auto needs. On time service was also great.

I took my car here for an oil change, 2 weeks later a piston blows up on my engine, I took it the dealership I bought the car from, (Infiniti) and they tell me the engine was overfilled with oil on my recent oil change, I told them it was Nissan their parent company and they just fixed the car since its under warranty. Check your oil level before you leave the lot.
