We always receive the best care from Southfork Animal Hospital. They remember each one of our pets and ensure that all their needs are taken care of.

We took a kitten that we rescued there, only because he needed immediate care and they were the only ones able to get him in right away. We loved the vet so much we decided to keep going there! They always remember us, and I feel like they give amazing care to our cat.

Dr. Louren Tronqued and staff are very friendly & knowledgeable. I recently brought my 14 year old cat Mitzy in several times for low appetite and weight loss, and Dr. Louren was very helpful and so good with Mitzy. We did blood tests, an ultrasound, and then finally started Mitzy on appetite stimulants and she was referred to a specialist vet. She suddenly became very sick before seeing the specialist vet, so we went to an Emergency clinic (Pulse Veterinary Specialist and Emergency= Excellent, I highly recommend), where I decided to say goodbye to Mitzy because her health issues were not treatable.
I’m so grateful to have had 2 extra months with Mitzy while on the appetite stimulants, and thankful to Dr. Louren and everyone who helped Mitzy and I. Thank you.

Also too bad that it was unannounced that he left. Only found that out when we called.

I had two animals who came away with severe burns from heating pads during what should have been routine dentals on two different occasions. And one of them died from neurological complications within a month after surgery. Heartbreaking.

Impressed that the clinic took care of her so well after, at no cost, in apology. But then in December my dog had a dental and also came away with two burns. She never recovered from the dental. I brought her back to find out what wrong and was just given more pain meds. She eventually collapsed and I rushed her to my new vet and horribly had to let her go. I am forever regretful that the last month of her life was spent suffering pain from the burns and the rest. I brought her in for a dental because she was in such great shape - one last one to last her through her last old doggie years. 30 days later she was dead because of it. I’ll always blame myself for taking her there. After what happened to my cat I should have never gone back.
It took me a full year to be able to write this review. In the end I decided to, in case it could save someone else’s baby.

We had a great experience recently, since the new ownership. Will definitely continue to take my cat there

I recommend them to everyone! Wonderful place, with a great vet and support staff that makes a stressful situation for your pet and yourself much easier. The prices there are much cheaper then any other vet clinic I’ve been to.

They are over billing non-licensed, non-caring animal lovers. I would still have my dog alive to this day. If it wasn’t for them, they overcharged me by $1000 from what they quoted me didn’t remove. The tumour proper grew back. I lost my dog.
Didn’t send me the email on the bill told me that’s how it was really ignorant at the end after they got their money really play in the beginning beating me right in if you want to save your animal, don’t take it to this place the doctor should be deported back in a c-can!

After my mom was treated unkindly at our old Vet clinic, we saw Southfork Animal Hospital had the best reviews in Leduc. Nobody makes my mama cry and gets our returned business. I was immediately impressed with the amazing and kind service I received from simply even booking in the appointment. We were able to fill out the straightforward paperwork in advance, which expedited the appointment greatly. We received multiple reminders for the appointment via text, email and phone, which is great for my goldfish memory. We were also able to download a custom App they have for future appointments and managing our account. Dr. Sandi was compassionate and amazing, my pup loved him immediately. This was the first time my willful little French Bulldog allowed anybody to cut his nails without sedatives. The ladies at the front desk assisting Dr. Sandi also did the nail trim with Pablo and were exceptional. Not only was the treatment we received very effective, we also got a follow up phone call this morning which is an absolute first for us from a veterinary clinic. Thank you Southfork Animal Hospital for treating us with compassion and kindness. I can’t recommend this clinic enough. If you’re looking for a new vet, stop looking, this is the best one! Thank you!

Dr. Louren is wonderful! We have seen her twice. She has a great personality and I trust her with my dachshunds. Highly recommend

My pet is 14 years old with severe allergies. She gets a monthly allergy shot, the serum was brought from the USA. We moved back to Canada 10 months ago and seek local veterinarians. This veterinary practise is prompt and courteous of my pet when other pets are in the waiting room. Their pricing is competitive and they respect both my pet and my time. Highly recommend them.

On Saturday our dog swallowed something nasty at a local dog park. This needed to be removed asap. Went to Southfork Animal Hospital. They listened to the story and recognized the urgency. Within 15 minutes we were done and my pup and I were very happy! Great staff! Great service! Great outcome!

Dr. Sandy and his team have been amazing over the years! They have been fabulous at helping us when emergencies have a risen. The team is kind, compassionate, patient and honest. Highly recommend.

Had to bring my cat in for an emergency situation today and after calling around to multiple different offices, Southfork was the only office who could get us in, and was very compassionate over the phone. We were able to bring our cat in right away and were brought to a room as soon as we walked in the door. We had the pleasure of dealing with 3 very loving ladies and the gentleman who was the vet. Everybody who we dealt with was more than amazing and we are now home with our cat on the mend. I do not have enough words to describe how grateful my family is for them and that we were able to bring her home. ️

I was very impressed with the staff at this facility. The vet not only listened to me, but heard me. The staff were friendly and professional. I will be back with my fur babies. Thank you!

Thank you for helping us while traveling. We were delayed in Leduc due to severe weather returning to Wyoming. Our 14 year old German Shepherd needed care and Dr. Patel was very kind to an older animal and caused her to have less pain. Top people, compassionate, efficient!

Brought my puppies for their first shots. The staff were fantastic. Puppies got a photo shoot, great food recommendations and gave me all the information I needed. Their app is easy to use and helpful reminders on upcoming appointments.
Would highly recommend them.

My dog's (2 toy poodles) feel like they are at home here. Never once have they been scared going for a visit to Southfork. At previous veterinarians, they would even want to get out of the vehicle and were scared. All the staff here is awesome and very professional. We live in NW Edmonton and I will do the 40min drive anytime to leduc for my pets.

Sandi and his staff were amazing! They came highly recommended to me and exceeded my expectations. Thanks for making Oakleys experience a good one. It was a first for him and me to be treated so well at the vet. I highly recommend everyone takes their fur babies here for the best care.

Dr. Sandy and the two ladies who assisted us were BEYOND amazing. I was very apprehensive of vets after having one too many bad experiences, but the staff at Southfork Animal Hospital went above and beyond to help my kitty out. Fast and efficient, kind and friendly. Welcoming to not only us but our kitty boy, he felt so safe and comfortable it was amazing. I cannot wait to continue to see the staff at Southfork Animal Hospital as George’s regular vets. They are AMAZING! So grateful for all that they do. Cant recommend them enough!:)

Dr Sandy is the most genuine caring Vet. He is my number one go to for my little guy. It’s a little bit of a drive for me, but the care and treatment he provides is outstanding.

Been bringing my puppy here since I got her in April. I've had nothing but great experiences and my puppy loves going here. That should say everything that needs to be said.

Great care for my staffy and pug, 2 surgery's and I couldn't have asked for more, and his prices are amazing! I wish he had emergency services but only because I trust them that much.

I was very impressed as this was our first time there. Our regular vet wanted $175 emergency fee to walk in the door. You were able to get our dog in right away with no additional cost. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Even in the pouring rain that day it was fast. We didn't have to wait long at all. No unnecessary tests were asked for, appreciate that. The vet was knowledgeable and right to the point. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Male vet here mis diagnosed our family dog. He didnt do a proper exam another vet told us. We felt like something was wrong after our visit here so decided to get her into another vet asap the next day she had to go into emergmecy surgery and died about 12 hours after her surgery. It was too late. All the vet here did was talk and perscribe an antibiotic instead of doing a quick culture or actually looking at the infection to find out the issue. Guess that was too much effort. This couldve ended alot better for everyone if this vet took the time to do the examination he was paid for instead of assuming she just needed antibiotics. We also left her muzzle behind after our appointment and they will not give it back. 10/10 would never reccomend this place to anyone. Wish we wouldve brought her somewhere else and gotten her the help she needed when we brought her here before it was too late.: (

My dog is well looked after and Dr. Patel is very kind and helpful. I'm very happy with this clinic.

I volunteer with Alberta Homeward Hound Rescue and Dr. Sandy at Southfork Vet Hospital has been our rescue vet for a while now! We need to highlight him and his team who go above and beyond for us all the time! BUT TODAY, on Christmas (when they were closed may we add for 3 days for a very well deserved break) one of our pups started showing signs of an infected incision. Dr. Sandy at Southfork Animal Hospital in Leduc, came in on his day off this morning and made sure to get our pup the meds she needed so the infection doesn’t get worse and she didn’t get sick.
Words can’t express how grateful we are for humans like him. We can’t recommend him enough if you need a vet to trust your fur babies with. Simply the best.
Merry Christmas to everyone

We recently got a small bunny as a pet and were looking to have him neutered but were a bit conscious about how much we could spend being our first pet. We did some research, asked for recommendations and made some calls to the several options and found SAH to be the most cost effective and came recommended.

They were only one of few vets who completed the procedure in one visit and that saved us some time. In these uncertain times, they had strong procedures in place to sanitize their areas and we were impressed by the attention to detailing. Dr, Sandip Patel (Sandy) was very informative about the procedure before he started and then met us after to make sure what to expect for the next few days. The front end staff who dealt with me was quite brusque but I am sure everyone is stressed out these days - or she may have been having a bad day in general.

Nevertheless, I would recommend this hospital especially for small animals which I have heard is more challenging than others! Thank you Sandy!

We have taken our new puppy to Dr. Sandy a couple of times now - more recently to get her spayed. She must have gotten a little too playful while recovering because we noticed that her incision had gotten swollen and red so my sister contacted the vet & he agreed she had a small infection & said he would meet us at their offices on CHRISTMAS DAY when the clinic was closed to get us more antibiotics for her to fix her up. We cannot explain how appreciative we are of this above & beyond effort, otherwise she would have had to deal with the infection for at least 3 more days as all vet offices are closed for holidays. THANK YOU DR SANDY AND TEAM!
