These guys are the absolute best. We had an issue with our television and they were able to get us and appointment quickly. They came to our home took the TV off the wall and completed the repair in our living room without issue. Both Technicians were friendly and professional and stress free. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Honestly the best customer experience I have had in years. I had a failure in my SHARP drawer microwave and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating, especially given the short notice. They communicated through the repair process and they had the parts in stock to make the repair which is unheard of these days. I can’t say enough positive about my experience, and will Southland Technical will be my go to for any future issues.

Need a part for my lg tv and talked to the front desk. What a waste of time. You cant order a part (main board) with out a technician looking at it for 200$ an hour. Perhaps their field people are nicer but the telephone girl is terrible.

I have never been so impressed with customer service as I have been with Victor with Southland technical services. We have a built-in Thermador oven, warming drawer, and microwave unit. The oven relay board had to be replaced. Thermador no longer makes the relay board which basically left the entire unit redundant even though all three appliances (with a workable relay board) were in perfect working order. When I called Thermador I was told I had to buy a whole new unit (no longer available). Victor went to great lengths to obtain a part from the US to repair the relay board. I don’t know how many total hours Victor worked to research, obtain parts, and repair the relay board but he saved us thousands of dollars as there is no way we could’ve found a similar unit to fit into our custom cabinetry.
I can’t thank Victor enough for his dedication to this ‘project’ - he was determined to fix this Thermador unit as he said it is an excellent quality appliance. I definitely will call Victor again for any other appliance repair and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable and dedicated repair service. Thank you Victor!

We brought in our Panasonic microwave to get fixed as it wasn’t working properly. We didn’t want to buy a new microwave as we have a custom spot for it in our kitchen and it would have been a big hassle. Victor was able to diagnose the problem and have it fixed in a few hours. The price was very reasonable and we’re very happy with his work and the overall experience. Next time we need an appliance technician we are definitely coming back!

They said my panel is broken. Then they wanted almost 6k to fix it. Then i troubleshooted it myself bought 80 dollars module and fixed it. Complained about it they said they will forward it to the manager?

LG Canada outsourced the replacement of the top of my new LG Range. They blew out all the circuits when the plugged the stove back in and left quickly. We had to get an electrician and access to the main panel outside to restore power. Took 3 hours. I would never recommend them to anyone

Technician was professional in his approach, even though he didn’t have the parts on hand during the first visit, he made sure that parts were ordered and a follow up appointment was scheduled promptly to fix the dryer. Dryer is working fine for now.

Hi, I would like to say that if anyone looking to use this service look elsewhere, this company is the least professional company I have ever worked with. I bought a Panasonic TV from visions which is covered under warranty, while watching TV the picture went black but there was sound, turned the TV off and then On and there were lines on the left and 15CM from the bottom. The technician comes out to view the TV, takes less than 5 minutes and takes some photos and claims impact damage. That TV has been hanging on the wall ever since and hasn't been touched or damage not one single impact on that TV ever occurred.

I called the company after receiving the email about the report and the woman on the phone Jennylen Bustamante was extremely rude and unprofessional from the first word. This is one terrible company and no one should even waste the time spending a dime there.

I will be taking this matter further with Global news consumer report and every avenue possible

Reply to owner: I honestly am not interested to hear any excuses, I can say with 100% fact that that TV did not have a SINGLE impact sustained, it has been hanging on a wall mount. A finger has not touched that screen in over a year. If you say otherwise you are calling me a liar, no impact damage occurred. I will be contacting Visions head office next and then Panasonic directly as well as global news. Have you seen the reviews on the better business bureau site, many others have the same feelings towards your technicians. I will also be taking the TV to bestech a way better company than yours and get their opinion and we will see the diagonis.

Southland was great to deal with. They fixed my TV with the first part they ordered. Wish they would push a bit more to get part orders approved a bit quicker, but I imagine there is not much they can do.

I liked that they called set up the time. Gave me a window of 2 hours to expect them. Called to confirm before they arrived and arrived on time. Took great care to put down protection for my floor moved the fridge out and back without scratching my floor. Got the job done quickly and efficiently. Answered any questions I had. Overall a great experience.

I really wish I could leave zero stars. These people are terrible. I honestly don’t know how they are still open and servicing people appliances. They lack basic skills like professionalism. I had to unfortunately deal with them because I was having some issues with my LG television. I initially had an appointment booked with them and they called me last minute and cancelled after I had to take time off work to be home for the appointment. They took a week for someone to call me to rebook because they were “short-staffed”
When they finally called the lady on the phone was extremely rude and seemed irritated by me. I’m not sure how they feel that it is appropriate to speak to their customer like they do. When the technician finally came to the appointment he was late. He made feel extremely uncomfortable and refused to wear a mask. I did insist that he does wear a mask seeing we are in a pandemic and I was wearing a mask when he arrived and he kept refusing. Please please please stay away from this company at all costs. They are so unprofessional I am really not sure what to even say. Learn from my mistake, and avoid them for any service. I just wanted to let everyone know my experience with this terrible company!

We have been trying to get our tv fixed (through visions warranty) for over a month now. It took 2 weeks to get a tech at my place. When he arrived he shined a flashlight at my tv for 2 seconds and assumed he knew what the problem was. It took 2 weeks for the part to arrive after they said it would take 3-6 days. The tech came back to fix my tv to then realize that the problem he thought it was (from a flashlight) wasn't actually the problem so he told me he was going to order ANOTHER part to see if that will fix the problem and they will give me a call back. Here's to assuming I will need to wait another 2 more weeks to get our tv fixed.
Customer service is just as bad. They wait until less than 24 hours to call you and say "our tech will be by tomorrow between 12- 4" as if we can just randomly take time off work with less than a days notice and if that doesn't work well you will probably have to wait another week before getting home booked him.

House call to assess an erratically functioning older LG TV. Very clear information about the assessment charge and out-of-town travel costs. Effective and speedy assessment, with very honest advice that repair possible, but not worth the cost. Referral to Visions, from whom we purchased a new TV. Good.effective service from Southland. Will happily use them again.

My experience with Southland Technical was very good. They called the day prior to my appt.to confirm the time slot. On appt.day, my service technician named David called to inform me he was running about 30 minutes behind, which is always appreciated. After he arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem, and gave me an estimate as to how long the repair would take. He worked efficiently, and cleaned everything up after the repair was completed, and then he even returned the fridge back to its usual space, and was very careful doing so. David was following the appropriate Covid precautions as well, and was masked up, the entire time he was at my home. Thanks Southland, for a professional, courteous experience!

I asked for a service call (quote) for my out of warranty Samsung LED. In my request form, I clearly mentioned the screen problem which of now I found out, is very common issue in Samsung LED and all technicians are simply aware of. After couple of days, the technician came over and just after only a two minutes VISUAL observation (without opening, even touching, etc), he said the issue is known and was supposed to prepare a quote. Lately after, I received the verbal quote on the phone and one simple message (No report! No email, nothing) that it is not worth of repair as it costs 850$. Again.without opening the frame, etc.
Visit fee (at my place) for diagnose was about 100$ which I paid. My complaint: If there was no need to open the frame and the issue was quite simple to diagnose without physical observation and in one minute, why should I pay 100$ only to be said to replace the TV? Called other technicians in some other well known places, They just simply told me the issue on the phone and fetched that the Southland quote was at least double the price than the other places.
So disappointed.

The tech was great, came in and figured out the issue right away and spoke with visions about a replacement TV.

The reason I'm giving three stars is the lack of communication. I understand things can take time, especially now, but communication is the key in any kind of relationship, business or otherwise. The only time I ever heard from them at all was after I asked why everything was taking so long (three weeks after the tech came by and I had heard nothing from them).

Southland, here is an email template you can use in the future. You need it.

The service was up to the standards. The tech came on time and ordered parts for the microwave. They made sure they followed all COVid protocols when they were inside my house. The microwave was repaired for the issue plus they ordered one broken part for no cost to me. I will highly recommend this company for any appliance service.

Convection fan on LG Oven started making grinding sounds then eventually stopped working. Called LG to tell them I need a new fan. They said said they would book a service person to come out in Calgary. Get a call from Southland to book a time. Guy shows up with no fan.takes the back off and says "your fan is not working, you need a new fan" gives me a bill for $100 says we'll call you when we can get a part in.a week goes by and then they say they have a quote for the part.it is $66 for the fan and another $150 to install it. (They hadn't actually ordered the part yet) I call LG and complain and they say Southland will take the cost of the inspection off the final bill, fair enough. I tell Southland this and they say that is not their policy. I call LG to complain again and they say they will accelerate the complaint upward. I say, they should not recommend Southland for LG repairs. LG says they will pass that on up. (Probably won't) meanwhile, I ordered the part off of LG site for $56.it is 2 screws to replace. (plus the 14 screws that the technician took off and didn't put back on to save him time when he came back.) Not impressed with LG or Southland

Absolute joke of a service company. No sense in making an appointment when all they will do is give some lame excuse as to why they can't make it. Claiming they are short staffed when that's not the customers problem. Even tho it was scheduled days in advance. It's unfortunate they are responsible for the Visons electronics warranty claims because their customer service is pathetic.

Steve was kind and clearly asked for what was required for him to do, and what he needed from us. It's unfortunate that the LG fridge is designed so that parts break (or get scratched as well) when removing/repairing.

I will never recommend this company to anyone. After a week of waiting for someone to come out to even look at our washer they tell us something has come up and the technician won't be out. The epitome of worst customer service I have ever had in my life. They couldn't care less and do absolutely nothing to help you. They even told us they don't have time to call the technician and we have to do it ourselves even though it's their contractor. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE COVID!

Alan arrived on time and was professional. Wouldn’t have had to bring him all the way out if LG had not sold me a washer with a defective drain pump in the first place, but I digress.
I really enjoyed having Alan around. He knew His way around the machine and got it finally sounding like it should. It sounded like I hid a dog in there before the pump was replaced.

Overall, I recommend the company

The receptionist spoke English in a way that was hard to understand, she left voicemail twice and I could comprehend the phone number she left us. Listened 4 times to her message never could get the number.

The technician was capable showed up on time asked me for some help which I didn’t mind.
He did his job in about an hour. I was happy to be given the price ahead of time.

We had Southland Technical come out to repair our washing machine via LG Support. We paid a intime “out of warranty” fee so I cannot vouch for the good value and the quality of the parts as only time will tell but fir responsiveness, professionalism and time management they were very good and I would use them again.

My TV is broken and I've been in contact with them for a month now and have not gotten a clear response yet. I will update with the outcome.
I got the panel replaced today and tv is as new.it took longer than you would expect but finally it is done and people have been very nice in the process.

David the technician was extremely thorough, professional and considerate of my home! He fixed the initial problem and while doing noticed also a leak. He showed me the rusty screw, condensation and small amount of water under the washer. His explanations of what he was doing was appreciated with both issues even though they were covered under warranty.

I was put in contact with Southland through LG. They not only kept their promise with respect to the day of service but came out a day earlier after asking if that was ok. The technician was on time for the service call and was very professional and friendly while here. Not only fixed the problem that we called for but also gave me sone advice on another appliance I was having trouble with. I would recommend d Southland without reservation. Keep up the great work, we will use you again.

Mar 2 22020. Never ever use Southland or buy LG products. Our 7 year old fridge needed repair. We could only use Southland as per discussions w LG. Southland comes out & we pay for them to replace the broken compressor. In the process they break another part & then they tell LG the fridge is unfixable. LG Thxs to Southland gives us $200 towards a new LG fridge that costs $3500. Wow it’s that great you break something rather than fix your mistake we get a broken fridge w little or no money to replace it. I have read the other bad reviews below & I fully agree w then all. Southland is in this for their money & forget customer service! My quest now is to make sure no one ever uses Southland & no one ever buys LG.

When our LG refrigerator simply stopped working on Sunday night, we called LG for service. Got through to the Philippines call Center which was not a good experience due to waiting 1.5 hrs, hanging up and calling again.
Anyway, once we got an agent, we were told Southland Tech was to provide service for us. They booked us an appointment for Thursday, 4 days later. That was the only negative thing about it all was that it took a long 4 days to get our service.

The service we received was great, tech Stephen arrived on time and with all the parts he needed. He got the job done in about 3 hours. Stephen was very polite, got right to work and explained the odor from the sealed unit bring recharged would be around for a day or so. He did everything just right, no problems at all. We appreciated that he did such a good job and we're very glad to have our refidgerator back up and running. Parts were covered and the service charges wasn't cheap, but it got done properly and when we were told it would be. ONLY issue was that LG said it would be 48 hrs and instead it was 4 days so that's why I put 4 stars.

When my 2010 Panasonic vt25 quit working, I looked around the province to find someone who could repair it.
Stephen responded to my inquiry quickly, and when I dropped it off, they quickly diagnosed the problem, found parts to repair the TV, and I had the TV back in the time frame that they advised me of, and the price estimate is what I paid.
A Top notch company, I strongly recommend and will definitely use again if I have any electronics repairs.

Long wait. You need 3-5 working days to find out weather ur device is repairable or not but have to pay $52.50 diaganose fee first. Phone is not attended always.

Great service. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable. They arrived on time, were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They fixed my LG Linear Compressor fridge and it’s now working great. They even gave me some extra advice and answered all the questions I had. Very High Recommended.
