Bought a used 2012 dodge journey 134,000km for $10,995 didn't even fill up a tank of gas, as I only had it for twenty days (back and forth from shops constantly.) They sold as a working vehicle no issues but soon to find out after 5 trips back and forth to their recommended mechanic (VIP Autocare) and mechanics of my own the differential needed replacing, the drive shaft, as well as the axles.communication was pretty horrible throughout the whole process Ali is smug among other names. Think this is one of those dealerships where they buy broken cars for cheap put bandaids on them and upsell for twice as much. They bought the vehicle back from me after the few days that i had it, but removed $1500 from the price, so i was at a loss. That plus the amount i had to put in to actually get an honest opinion of the car (the places they took it to never showed the diff and drive shaft were broken)
Totalled me at about $2888 in money down the drain. Not a good experience for a first car at 18 ended up buying one months later at a real name brand dealer i’d recommend you do the same.

Best customer service of all the dealerships we visited! Great inventory to choose from, and everything we test drove was clean and well maintained. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle!

Great experience and amazing service, MO went above and beyond, from picking me up from my house when it was time to take delivery and also going over all the features of the vehicle. Will definetly be back in the future and definetly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to give them a shout.

I bought my second car from Ali and was just as pleased with this purchase. Ali worked his butt off making sure I got the best financing rate possible. It was clean shiney and full of gas when I came to pick it up.

Edit: previously 5 stars. Dealerships are not your friends, I learned it the hard way. I purchased a coupe from them last year and everything was fine until a fee months ago. The car started giving me mechanical problems even though it had very low km’s. They did provide me with a mechanic report but i found out that some parts of the car have gone under repair which I wasn’t told about. When i got the vehicle i was rushed into the process and after i made the hold payment for the vehicle the guys working there didn’t seem to care at all and just wanted to get the car out of their inventory. I should have been careful and done my research. Now i had to sell the car Cos it’s burning a hole in my pocket.

Ali made my experience very very pleasant. Buying a vehicle is stressful for most. The non pressured environment they create at this dealership is something i have never experienced before and made me feel comfortable with my decisions, while being educated by the team. Thanks for all the help Ali, it goes a long way.

Gotta chuck delivered from calgary to kitten at the trailer system light was binging 20000 km later. Check Angela comes on. And it's a dead cylinder with five thousand misfires that was diagnosed before the truck was sold to me

This is the best used car dealership I have ever been to. Ali and Mo were both very friendly and professional, were honest about the vehicles and had all documentation available (CarFax, inspection, etc.) and did not apply give any pressure to purchase anything as we were exploring our options. When we did decide on our vehicle, they also patiently worked with us to get the best possible deal through financing from the bank as well. Would highly recommend this dealership.

Ali did a great job making sure everything was ready for me when I arrived to checkout a Expedition. All my purchase options where explained, sale went very smooth. A couple days after I was home with the expedition the engine light came on. I called Ali, he immediately told me to take it to my mechanic and get it fixed, Southview covered repair cost totally, no questions asked.

Great Experience. Purchased an F-250 with 230 000 km. I was nervous about buying a truck with high milage, but the dealer went above and beyond my expectations. There were a couple of issues with the truck, which they immediately took care of, and then threw in a warranty just to give me peace of mind. Ali and the team at southview motors were amazing! They helped me through the process of financing and getting me into the vechile I have wanted for a long time to get into. Everything seem to fall into place and aline just right.

We were able to negotiate getting a pre-purchase inspection done, so I would be confident in my purchase; since I am not a trained mechanic.
The inspection revivealed that the Vechile did have a minor leak, but Ali offered have it fixed by their people. So, that is one less thing I have to worry about.

It was a long, and tough road to gather everything for the Vechile financing (there were some surprises) though I luckily had the resources to meet everything I needed to finance the vechile.

It was my first time ever financing so I was feeling extremely pressured and stressed out to get the vechile, money, and all the paperwork for it done.as there was also a lot of interest in it.

However, Ali decided it would be in my hands, so long as I got everything sorted quickly by the end of the week. Which is fair and which I did.

You'll always encounter some compention out there.though it was helpful that Ali was very patient, and worked with me to figure everything out.
(Lots of back and forth calls and emails- though that is just more points for stellar communication.)

Buying a used car is always a foray into the unknown. I wasn't too sure about a 'used car dealer', but I was very pleasantly surprised. Had a great experience working with Moe in purchasing my vehicle. He was very transparent about the flaws of the car and had the mechanics immediately repair an issue I noticed upon test driving. The vehicle was clean and a mechanical report and Carfax were readily available. I went to look at a Jeep Southview Motors had for sale for my 17 year old daughter. The overall condition of the Jeep was great. I pointed out a couple small problems that should be fixed and if they were I would be happy to buy the Jeep. The two Mo’s were a pleasure to deal with. As soon as I pointed out the problems they immediately sent the Jeep for repair at no added cost to me. I definitely recommend Southview Motors! All their cars come with a complete inspection which is hard to find in Calgary. It gives you added insurance compared to buying privately. I also got a great deal on a year protection plan for the entire power train! I will definitely be back to look for a used car for my son in a few years when he turns of age! I just purchased my beautiful Lincoln from Southview Motors and had a great experience. By far the best experience I have had with a business in general, let alone a dealership. Moe and his team worked tirelessly to get me into the vehicle of my choice and provided me tons of options. After all was said and done, they got me in to the vehicle of my choice. The amount of time, care, and communication was absolutely incredible. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

UPDATE: So, my review did get some attention. Issues are now completely resolved, and now for the review I always did want to give them.

Moe was the salesman we worked with, and he was amazing. All the guys are absolutely incredible at Southview Motors, even Ramzi.
I have in the past been screwed over by a different dealership, but here, the guys came to my aid. We figured out a solution, and got the vehicle back up and running in tiptop shape. It was a pleasure to work with them on a solution, and it was so kind of Ramzi to really go above and beyond to make things right. This is definitely a dealership I would go back to, it's only a couple more years until my kid starts driving and this is by far the first place I would go to again. Thank you all at Southview Motors for restoring my faith in dealerships, and for the amazing vehicle.

I thought this was the perfect place to buy my car. All the associates were very friendly, not pushy at all. Bought the car, and have had nothing but issues with this car that was supposedly perfect according to the staff. So far I've had to put $500+ into this vehicle that I bought 3 weeks ago.and then you try and speak to anyone again, or have anyone call you back. Impossible! Not impressed, and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone, let alone my worst enemy.hmmm.maybe this will get their attention.

I'll be upfront, I do like the vehicle I bought and Moe was very friendly and personable. I debated over 2 and 3 stars and wish I could have given 2.5. The reason for the 3 stars is the lack of transparency about many hundreds of dollars added in fees (granted I should have read the bill of sale closer, although all the individual costs also weren't gone through either, just the totals, and I should have been more familiar with the law). Check out the AMVIC website for Alberta's all-in pricing law - documentation fees must be included in the advertised price, not added in later. Also, the vehicle condition wasn't disclosed properly, in my opinion (it had been in an accident) and the there was a smell that wasn't noticeable at first due to what I think was an "armour-all" type smell from cleaning, but when I went to start the vehicle cold the next morning, the smell was coming from the vents and in the interior. I have spent days and money deep cleaning the whole interior, vents, and cabin filter. I still may have to get it professionally detailed to completely get rid of the smell.

Like I said, I like the vehicle and it was a pleasant experience, but I wish they were more upfront about the car and the fees. Live and learn.

He patiently walked us through every step of the buying process as we could not make the trip to Calgary. Moe did an excellent job explaining the various warranties, and going to bat for us with the banks to ensure we got the best rates and terms possible. Moe was available even on his own time to answer our questions. This was all done through email and text. I could not have imagined buying a car could be so pleasant!

Was looking for a specific unit on Kijiji and found one from Southview motors. Contacted them right away and was unbelievably impressed on the quick response and how knowledgeable the sales associate is, Moe.
