They were really friendly over the phone but the technician was hours late to our house (came to check out or hot tub that isn't working). Had no idea he had even showed up, said he knocked on the front door once but we didn't hear him. He went into the backyard and checked the tub, but we were hoping to have been able to see what he was doing, see the problem and talk to him about it. I would have appreciated it if he would have at least rang the doorbell or called us to let us know he was here.

First time pool owner here. I went to Spa Tech for help getting my water balanced. The staff were friendly and VERY helpful. Both Leah and Maria were great to talk to. They educated me on what was required and how to add the chemicals properly to achieve results. I went from a greenish tint water to an amazing crystal clear water that we are enjoying all summer long. Thank you Leah and Maria.

We moved into a new house that came with an Arctic Spa hot tub in the late fall of 2022. We didn't have time to deal with it when we moved in so we had it winterized by Spa Tech. I chose them as their website said that they knew how to service Arctic Spa hot tubs. The technician came out and completed his work. When it came to starting up the hot tub in the spring we found that the technician had failed to take out the Spa Boy sensor. This is a pretty critical piece of equipment that if it is exposed to air, it's damaged and begins to give incorrect readings and the system can't regulate the chlorine production properly. This sensor (just the part alone) costs $250 to replace. When we called up Spa Tech to point out what had happened, they said that they could send someone out to look at it in about a month's time. The woman on the phone that I talked to said that she wasn't with the company at the time that this service was completed, though I fail to see how her not being with the company has anything to do with the fact that the technician didn't perform his job properly. They've said that they'd pass my complaint up the chain but several weeks have gone by and I've heard nothing. I would not recommend them.

I’ve used Spa Tech for years and was perfectly happy with their service until they made a mistake winterizing my pool and refused to make it right. In draining and blowing out my lines last fall the technician failed to uncouple the salt generator as he had done in previous years. Well that led to a crack in the housing of the unit after the winter freeze so now the generator is useless. I fully expected the company to stand up for their work since that’s why I had them do the winterization in the first place. They refused to cover the damage with the explanation it wouldn’t have been possible to have water in the unit after servicing. Then why had it been left uncoupled in previous years for the winter season? Subsequently, the one year they don’t uncouple a crack develops along the bottom of the plastic housing. Sure seems amazingly coincidental.

Honest and highly skilled with many years experience in the hottub industry. Have used Shane & Florin many times over the last 12 years to service and repair my hot tub. When it was time to replace my old hot tub it was a no brainer to purchase a new one from Sundance Spa, the company they purchased.

We purchased a hot tub in August and have had some issues balancing the chemicals. Shaun came to the house took a water sample back to the store and offered to deliver chemicals if needed as he was close by. Have had so many calls with Lia and she has helped me over the phone and walked me through the process balancing the chemicals several times. From the sale up until now, Exceptional customer service. Many business' could learn from them what customer service is all about. Definately would recommend them. They go above and beyond for their customers

I got recommended to Spa Tech when my original hot tub provider closed.
Corresponding with the office was pleasant and informative. Easy to get the information I needed to set me up with the right service plan.
Shaun, the service tech, was awesome! Super knowledgeable, great to chat with and very thorough. He made sure everything was working and had me up and running in no time!

Spa Tech has been nothing but amazing to deal with when it comes to service & products. I have bought chemicals/filters from them and their prices & stock are great. Their service techs are very professional & knowledgeable. The response time was impressive and the problem was fixed! I highly recommend checking out their new store

Sean and the team at SPA TECH were a pleasure to work with.great communication with fast and friendly service. I would highly recommend them.

Our backyard hot tub's secondary circuit board burnt out after warranty was up so we called the ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER to buy a replacement. We installed it ourselves but nothing was working. Called the manufacturer for a service call.we couldn't be home during the day but we didn't hear anything from the tech on the day of the call.nothing was left at our home to indicate they had been there or what was the result. We had to call the main office the next day and were told that we needed to call an electrician.with no other details other than the tub wasn't getting enough power. So frustrating!

We called SPA TECH instead based upon a family referral.they had someone in our section of the city that day so added us to their schedule right away. Sean called to confirm when he was on his way.called again to let us know that the main circuit board had also been fried in the initial incident and the entire Control Unit needed to be replaced (main circuit board no longer being made for that brand based on previous service calls with similar tubs). He had a spare control unit in his truck.they had started ordering them in advance to have on hand so they could get things repaired in one visit.especially with cold weather on the way.

He explained that he might be able to make the unit work with the existing keypad in the tub for jets/lights.he would try it.but if not, he had a matching keypad as well.

He called back within the hour to let me know everything was working.the original keypad worked so we didn't need a new one.and the tub was almost at full temperature by the time I got home.

Spa Tech was SUCH a better experience than the original manufacturer.and it got fixed in one call with no extra electrician required. Spa Tech will be my first call in the future.

Just had spa tech come out and replace the mother board in my hot tub. They were awesome to deal with and their pricing was very fair!
In fact they were 60% lower than arctic spas quote and everything was exactly the same if not better. I undoubtedly would recommend Spa tech to any of my friends and family and even strangers who are looking for repair work or service done on their hot tubs.
Price was right.
Service was quick.staff was easy to deal with on the phone.
The service tech that came out was friendly and did a great job and was quick.

Shawn from Spa Tech came out last Friday and resolved our water leak in our hottub. Shawn was very knowledgeable, professional and provided some additional suggestions. Pricing was reasonable but more importantly took care of issue on 1st visit!

They actually answered the phone which was a great start, a tech was at my home within 2 hours and we had the new parts ordered and installed the next day. Fantastic service and turn around time. The tech was also very friendly and informative. I will certainly be calling Spa Tech for future needs.

I don’t generally leave reviews but I have to say the buying experience I went through with Florin at Spa Tech was exceptional. Me and my wife were comparing a few Spas - one at Spa Tech (LSX 800 Michael Phelps Legend series) with Florin and a few others at a different manufacturers and locations. I have to say that we were surprised by the difference in presentation. Florin excitedly told us about all of the cool and exceptional features whereas at the other locations we had to ask 100 questions to get the information we wanted to make the decision. While I felt that 2 Spas were worthy of my consideration; it was Florin and the team at Spa Tech that made the difference.
We ended up buying the LSX 800 Michael Phelps Legend Series from Spa Tech.
Again, he made sure we knew everything about the Spa, was willing to have us look at as many models as we liked. He allowed us to take as much time as we needed to make a decision. So we got what we wanted within reason to seal the deal. After the purchase, they delivered on their promise to install my Hot Tub and all the accessories on time. The follow up after the purchase was exceptional. Jim, the manager, made us feel great about our purchase, arranged for an extra visit to get help with balancing the water chemicals, so that we could enjoy our Hot Tub immediately. Personally, I have been a sales representative for quite some time and I have to say I learned more about the importance of the follow up after the sale and how it makes you feel really great about your decision. I would definitely recommend Florin and the team at Spa Tech for your Spa buying experience.

Excellent, quick, very knowledgeable. My heater on my tub stopped working. A technician was at my door that day before noon. Had the parts (used, new or to repair it) options available with him. Definitely will be calling again in the spring for some maintenance work to be done. Very reasonable in price too! Thanks guys

These guys are awesome hands down. They showed up and gave us an estimate of our leaking hot tub in the early fall. It was first thought we would need to have the tub brought to their shop and fixed in-house however we waited till the next summer after deciding what to do and getting other quotes. They were more than happy enough to diagnose and repair the tub on site (we have a full foam tub so there's quite a bit of ripping apart) cutting down the costs substantially. This also saved quite a bit on time as we had the tub ready to go within a couple of hours. Super honest people and a pleasure to deal with. Have no problem recommending these guys for someone unsure of who to use in fixing a leaky tub. Thanks again guys!

We have an older Beachcomber hot tub that came with our home. When calling Spa Tech, they were very prompt and professional and were able to schedule us right away! The techs were also very professional and knowledgeable; especially Sean, answering any questions I had.

The first call involved testing the circuits, replacing a pump, and going through a checklist. The first tech took bout 3-4 hours, and told us the hot tub looks okay and depending on the water level in a few days, they may need to come back to repair leaks. This call cost over $600.

The second call was because we had slight water loss of a couple of inches over the next week For this, two techs were required; neither of which were the same guys. They basically emptied the tub, flipped it, making a huge mess (they left the pump and heater disconnected; the electrical boxes that also feed our landscaping features were left hanging and open). Told me it wasn't worth my money and just to get a new one. Pretty much 30 minutes for close to $300 to tell me it was too old and not worth it.

My issue here is why is there not the consistency between the techs. The first tech did a great job, hopeful about the repair and we invested quite a bit of time and money in the first call, but the second call was the opposite.

It's too bad the reverse didn't happen. I wish they flipped it over first, saw the bottom and said it was not worth it; rather than have a tech go over the checklist properly and sell a new part and have a costly repair for no reason. It would have saved me a lot of money and saved the tech his time.

We spoke to a friend who said they had a tub that was freeze damaged with the purchase of their home (abandoned). The tech cut through the spray foam, and then replaced a distribution manifold, and a few lengths of pipe. This took 26 minutes total.

Really liked the first tech and would work with him again. Just an unfortunate situation that resulted in a costly service visit that didn't amount to much.

I have owned a few hot tubs and have had good experiences with many different repair companies. I Would not recommend this company. There are other more honest repair companies around. In 3 service calls my experience has been negative 2/3. They overcharge for their services and have poor communication. The last straw is when don’t show up when they have a booked appointment.

Added edited response to the company: parking is not an issue. There is visitor parking as well as a parking stall on the road. You could have contacted me to ask for the parking spot or say you are no longer coming instead of wasting a day of my time waiting around for your tech

I’ve had Spa-Tech out twice now. So friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve given their name out to several people. I won’t call anyone else for issues with my hot tub. They explain what’s going on and I don’t feel like I’m being overcharged or taken advantage of, which is huge for a single parent. Hands down the only people I’ll call for my hot tub. Keep up the great work guys! Your customer service is amazing
