Been going here for a bit now, getting massages and have had my nails done once. The massage therapists are very nice, the front desk staff are usually quite neutral in their attitudes. It's nice that they give you a little snack after a couples massage but that room at the back is kinda icky, bugs on the floor and stuff.

Reviewing on behalf of past employees! The turn over of staff is crazy! The talk, is the owner is a horrible person and is very rude. I have tried a couple of times to make an appointment and there is no receptionist. Was hung up on once and when I asked questions the lady on the phone was very ignorant and condescending. I walked in to see the place and was disgusted. Dog in a spa! The railing was ready to fall off the wall and I was not greeted by anyone. So unprofessional. I have spent thousands of dollars on spa treatments and I would never set foot back in this establishment ever again.

I was calling around to numerous different spas that offer facials. I would ask what kind of facials they offer and the other spas would ask me questions about my skin type, give me a variety of options to best suit my skin with no hesitation to help. When I called here and asked what kind of facials they offered, the lady on the phone Wednesday Feb 15th at 4: 30pm. Said “did you look at the website” I was so confused and startled because every other business was so open, and understanding to explain the facials plus asked about my goals for my skin. I let her know I did not look at the website and she said they are all on the website. Probably one of the worst customer service experiences I had went through. (Thank you to all the other businesses that do not answer your phones in this way and it truly does matter how we treat others and speak to others)

The services and atmosphere here were absolutely amazing. My sister and I had a duet facial and pedicures and she also had a massage and body wrap. Everything exceeded our expectations.

EXCEPT. Dealing with the booking process and front desk was quite frustrating. First of all, about a month before our appointment we called to change the booking (I wouldn't be joining for the massage and body wrap) during the process of making this change my sister was put in hold for 20 minutes while she made the changes.
On the day of our appointment, when checking in they still had us both scheduled for all services. There was a lot of confusion around this but they did end up going back through the calls to confirm the changes were made and so no cancellation fee would be charged.
Then the most frustrating part was at the end of our day. After our amazing services we were so pleased with the experience but trying to pay the girl at the front desk was confused by something when trying to input the charges and we waited 25 minutes standing at the door just waiting to pay and go home. I expect that she was new and having a hard time but instead of going to ask for help, she got progressively more anxious and instead of asking for help just continue to struggle until the manager came to ask why we were still waiting there.

I know that send like a long rant for 4/5 but the experience was overall amazing but I think the If I were to recommend this place to a friend it would come with a HUGE warning to be prepared to be very patient dealing with front desk interaction.

Every time I go to this spa, i am very happy! The signature spa pedicure was really relaxing and even came with fruit and chocolate fondue and a drink of choice!

This is one of my favourite places. I’ve had massages and pedi’s done. I will continue to return and also refer friends. Myself and my friends have had nothing but amazing experiences.
The environment is very calming and cozy. The staff are absolutely professional and kind.
I absolutely love and recommend Shyanne for deep deep tissue massage (I have yet to try the other forms of massage). I’m very picky, so proves she is absolutely amazing thank you to both locations and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

I’ve been going to Alysa for years for all my waxing needs! She’s so incredible at what she does, and has made me feel so comfortable from the start! I’ve also had a massage and pedi at spaology and cannot say enough good things about the staff there! Definitely a great place to go for all your self care needs!

I went for a brow clean up (I was specific when I told her just a clean up) and she took a huge chunk off one of my eyebrows and made both of them super thin. She also said “wow you really need to book a facial”. I’m not one to complain but when I saw my eyebrows I was shocked, and upset. I had my eyebrows cleaned up two months prior here (different employee) and was very happy, so I’m not sure where the disconnect is.

I have had a lot of massages at different stages of life, pregnant or not. Jolene’s technique was truly amazing and I left feeling relaxed and so much more comfortable. I’ll be recommending her to many! She was also so professional and I felt taken of from start to finish! Thank you sooooo much!

I would like to start this review by noting that my service providers for my hot stone massage, facial and pedicure were outstanding. 10/10.

However my experience with the front desk staff and payment was in one word disgusting.

I booked the Spa Getaway package advertised for $249 on the website. Noting there is no disclaimer provided to identify that there would be a change in pricing depending on how I chose to pay for my services. Noting I booked via the HOME page of spaology and selected the Spa Getaway package which took me straight to the booking date and payment. This is important as if booked looking under their packages tab there is small disclaimer - like noted I did not as I went via their home page where no disclaimer is listed. So was not aware it was there until yesterday after my services to review the web page again.

I entered the store on Friday May 6th for my appointment and notified the front desk that I would be using some wayspa gift cards (sum of $200) to form part of my payment. Of which the cards were requested right away which I provided. Based on the package price my remaining total should have been $49 plus applicable taxes.

You can therefore imagine my surprise when I come to pay once completing my package service that my total is $107. When I mentioned to the front desk that this was more than I was expecting I was informed that because I chose to use wayspa gift cards (which were purchased for the same monetary value) that I was not entitled to the package price and that i would have to therefore pay full price for each service individually.
When I stated it was not on the website the front desk made no further action to assist me. Noting again it is NOT listed if booked from their home page. As I am now stuck having received the services of which I feel I was falsely advertised for cost I was left no choice but to pay full price for something that was meant to be a package deal. This unfortunately affected the level of service tip I wished to leave due to the unexpected additional higher cost.

Now the issue is that there is no indication on the website that as a paying customer I would be penalized for using gift cards for part of my payment. I have been back onto the website and double checked. The home page where the package was selected from there is no disclaimer - if you dig deeper you will eventually find it under the packages tab showing all packages offered- which is not where I booked from - Additionally the front desk could have informed me upon entering as I made it clear I was paying with gift cards and they collected them off me;
Prior to my appointment to allow me a chance to adjust my services if needed.
Instead they chose to leave me feeling as though I have been duped.

Noting that this was meant to have been a relaxing get away that my husband and parents purchased (the gift cards) to allow me to enjoy my mother's day. It has certainly turned sour.

I have emailed the Spa and I am still waiting for someone in management to contact me about this issue and how they can rectify this situation, will update accordingly.

Our group travelled from 2 different long distance locations. The booking staff was so patient and accommodating. The location was perfectly in the middle for both of us. They were training a new staff person but overall the experience was fantastic. All were pampered with a non-alcoholic beverage of our choice, 2 received the sweet deal, 3 had facials, 2 pedicures, & 1 manicure. Staff were so pleasant & accommodating. Jenn was amazing, Chantel did a great job, & Pola did a wonderful manicure. Would definitely recommend!

The staff here are A-mazing! They are so friendly and really great at what they do! The atmosphere is very inviting and relaxing. I just can't say enough great things about Spa'logy, truly a treasure that deserves recognition.

I had an appointment today, the roads and traffic were terrible. I called, as I knew I wouldn’t make it in time, and the woman in the phone was so amazing! She said not to worry and that she’d wait for me, she told me to drive safe. What I found most impressive was that the reason for the appointment was to fix a small issue I had with a recent pedi. The manager took care of the fix herself, which I think speaks to the passion and care for her business. She thanked me for letting her make it right. Excellent service and really great staff. Very clean and I loved the ambiance?

Today I had a fabulous 90 minute therapeutic massage with RMT Sheerie. The room was large and inviting and the massage table was of high quality complete with a warmed under sheet.
Sheerie is amazing - very knowledgeable and so very skilled! She is quick to identify problem areas and taylor her massage service according to your needs. Her pressure was perfect for me.
It was totally the best experience. I highly recommend Spalogy and Sheerie.

I've been going to Spaology for over a year now. I get the full package service. Massage, pedicure, manicure, lashes.it is so relaxing. I love the spa music and the theme rooms. I feel like I am on vacation everytime I'm there.

Staff and Owner are personal, professional and use up-to-date tools and techniques. The variety of services and attention to detail is awesome. Oh, and the chocolate fondue is so good! They do spoil you there!

Booked a 90 min hot stone massage on February 6th online for a February 14th Valentine’s Day gift for my wife. I got the confirmation email the same day saying we were booked for feb 14th at 2pm with Trish. Thought everything was booked and confirmed. My wife was excited to get in for a massage, she drove an hour to spruce grove (we live west an hour in the country) on Valentine’s Day and decided to call 20 mins ahead to let them know she would be arriving soon. To her shock she wasn’t booked in for any appointments, she called me confused and upset so I decided to follow up thinking there was some confusion. To my dismay, she was right. There was no bookings, after talking with the receptionist I sent her the confirmation email that they sent to me and she brought it to the managers attention. After some time on hold she told me that they cancelled the appointment because they were only doing couples massages on Valentine’s Day. I asked isn’t it customary to let the client know their appointments get cancelled. They told me that there should have been an email sent and maybe went to junk mail. (Which there wasn’t I double checked). I asked to speak to the manager to clarify what exactly happened, and she said she remembers this appointment and she did cancel it and they had every right to cancel it. Which I don’t disagree, they do have every right and I would of been okay with it and booked another date or time but we didn’t get ANY notice whatsoever and not even an apology. She blamed it on tech problems and it’s out of her hands. I said I said I was very disappointed as my wife was sitting in the parking lot for her Valentine’s Day gift massage, told them I wouldn’t be using them or referring their spa with the lack of courtesy or transparency. Her response was ‘ok’. So long story short, don’t go here. Unapologetic and terrible communication with clients.

Went for a couples massage as well as a hot stone massage and both ladies were amazing. Not only did the massages feel amazing and much needed but they had a really cute waiting room to get robed up and relaxed in and that's where we got our post massage fondue as well.:)
The front is filled with amazing products and super friendly ladies as well! Highly recommend these gals if your new to the area and unsure of where to go or if you just need a beautiful badass place to come and relax with some even more badass women!

DO NOT go for a massage here if you were in any kind of accident or assault and filing a claim with someone via a Lawyer or Victims of Crime Financial Benefits. When Spalogy is contacted by anyone to verify your claims they will toss your claim aside like it's garbage and not even call you to clarify the letter that was sent to them. When I spoke to the manager they didn't know what the form was about and didn't have the decency to call me to ask about it.

My experience at Spalogy has been amazing. I used to go to the old location in Spruce for Tanning and Massages. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I was happy to learn of the new location. I will start booking my Tanning and Massages there.

I've felt torn about this review. I like the space, I like most of the technicians I've ever had, and the service is usually really good.

There is one huge issue though that makes it very uncomfortable to be there. There is one nail tech, not sure her name but I've had her a few times, that is rude to the other staff. I like to chat with people and she makes it nearly impossible. She has bragged to me about a nail gel stuff that she gets to build up nails without a lamp but won't share what it is with the other staff. She's abrupt when asking her co-workers for help. She seems very reluctant to do anything to help others. And I've sometimes gotten the impression that myself and my guests annoy her.

We are uncomfortable enough that we'll either book when she's not there or go elsewhere. It's a shame because everything else is great.

***Just found out the unprofessional one that makes us uncomfortable is the owner! Guess we're finding a new spa. ️

If there was an option for 1/2 star, that would have been my pick. Let me begin by letting others know that this business wants to have your credit card to hold your appointments. I can understand that businesses are tired of getting stiffed by people that are no shows. I get it. However I had a gift certificate for a pedicure, so I wasn't going to be using my credit card to obtain the service.

I booked my appointment 2 weeks in advance; and not only was I going for myself I brought additional business along as my sister was joining me. I also was upgrading the level of services; from what the gift certificate was to what I booked. I used my gift certificate to secure the appointment; the booking receptionist said that it shouldn't be a problem.

Fast forward to Friday Aug 30th, we show up 10 minutes prior to our appointment to find out that Spalogy gave away my booking! Because I didn't use my Credit Card to secure a pedicure appointment. They told me that I was called to let me know.what an unprofessional business. Even though I have a gift that my GF paid good money for me as birthday gift; I don't think that I could even walk into that business again.

This just illustrates to me that Spalogy is happy to take your money to get gift certificates.they just don't want to honor them. Shame on you Spalogy!

I have always had a stiff neck and tight shoulders so I finally booked a 60-minute Deep Tissue Massage appointment with Regan, and wow! She spent the whole hour locating every knot in my back and loosening them. She definitely knows her stuff and applied the perfect amount of pressure. I walked out feeling so so relaxed and feeling loose. She also offered me fruit infused water on the way out, which added to the experience. Will definitely be back!

Very nice place! Got a pedicure and was one of the most relaxing pedicures I’ve gotten. Will defiantly be going back and highly recommend this place if you want to get away for some me time!

Unfortunately my 5 star review has turned into a 1 star review. I received pregnancy massages by Katerina throughout my entire pregnancy and it was perfect. She knows what she’s doing, she’s the reason I always returned. However, I just had a massage from Tiffany and she will be the reason I will not return nor will I recommend to anyone. I arrived 5-10 minutes before my scheduled massage time. She must have began the massage at 3: 10-3: 15 after the short wait for her to bring me back, speaking with her, & undressing ect. She ended the massage right at 4 o’clock so I did not get my full hour. Unprofessional and unacceptable. When she brought me into the room, it was absolutely freezing! When she came in to begin the massage she said “if you get cold I have another blanket. ” Another blanket wasn’t going to do me any good. Where was the heaters or the heated bed pad? It was -25 outside. Very hard to relax when every part of my body was an icicle and on top of that, every time she moved the sheet it would shock me from the static, no apology from her. My car keys were even SO cold to the touch afterwards. I voiced my concern about the cold room to the lady at the front desk and all she had to say was “Did you tell her you were cold? , That is a big problem for us, thanks for letting us know. ” No apology, nothing. Why would I bring my business back to a place where people do not truly care about your experience and about making it right? Worst experience of my life so I have found a lovely brand new spa elsewhere where it’s warm and full of happy & caring people. There are much better places to be spending your hard earned money at than Spalogy.

Had another wonderful pedicure done by Hazel. She is sweet, professional and so thoughtful about comfort details; ie.warm neck pillow, hot drink, etc. She also was perfectly fine with trying 3 polish colours until we got the one we both were happy with. She also has a great memory and could ask how my trip was. Four months ago! Highly recommend!

I saw Tiffany before she worked at Spaology and I will be going to see her now at Spaology. She is kind and listens to my massage needs. She's willing to hear her clients needs to provide them with the most comfortable and relaxing experience. If you let her know, she will accommodate you.

Had an amazing pedicure done by Julie. She was sweet and informative. She was knowledgeable about my ingrowns and sensitive not to hurt me or make them worse later. The cocktail was also very enjoyable.

I got an express pedicure done at Spalogy before leaving for a vacation. Hazel was the one doing it and she was amazing! So friendly and went above and beyond. She helped me decide on a color and gave a specialized touch as well! Will definitely be going back and will be requesting Hazel again!

I've been going that place for almost 3 years and I couldn't be happier. Very warm, welcoming environment. Although my favourite massage therapist recently moved to the city and doesn't work there any more, I still go there. I like everything about that place, the relaxing music, the color of the wall, By the way, the new relaxing/ waiting room was great idea and I just love it. Highly recommended

I’ve been going here for a couple of years now. All of the massage therapists are great and very talented I would absolutely recommend any of them.

I wouldn’t recommend a pedicure though. I had a hot stone pedicure and the technician put the wax on my feet and said she would be back in 5 minutes, nearly 15 minutes later (I could hear her having a conversation at the front that whole time) she slapped my nail polish on very fast and then sent me out the door giving me no time to dry. I felt like she lost track of time because of her conversation and didn’t give my polish the time to dry as a result. The hot stone massage was not very good at all which I was very disappointed by because it was more expensive to get that and I did it as a treat to myself. My pedicure was ruined before I got home. I was also very pregnant when I got this and I fell trying to get out of the chair- thankfully I caught myself on the wall. It would have been very nice of the technician to try and help me up since the chair was quite high and there was nothing to hold on to. She was nice but I left feeling like she didn’t like her job and that I was just an appointment to get through.

I also recently had a facial as part of a birthday package which I was excited about because you get a discount for your birthday. I arrived at 9 for my appointment. They asked me to come early to do a facial form but I wasn’t sure if I should or not because they didn’t open until 9. I called before 9 but there phone system doesn’t allow you to speak to someone until 9. I quickly filled out the facial form when I got there. It asks a lot about what the you would like them to focus on during the treatment. I said extractions and my skin was oily. I’m assuming because I was late that my appointment was cut short which is fine but what’s not fine is the technician didn’t do one extraction and my skin was so oily afterwards it was gross. I didn’t say anything because I was already getting a discount and I figured there wasn’t a point. I’ll just go elsewhere for services other than massage. Again I felt like this technician just wasn’t into her job. I’m not sure what the point of filling out that form was if it was going to ignored.

The spa is beautifully decorated and the staff at the front are very polite and easy to deal with. The online booking system is also awesome! I wish the other services worked out better than they did. As I said though I would recommend this place for massage any day.
