Special Event Rentals - Red Deer

I would recommend special event rentals to anyone! We rented chairs and tablecloths for our wedding. The entire process was very simple. Their communication skills are wonderful and everyone I spoke to was pleasant and professional!

We ordered a light up bar for our wedding just for fun and to add some colour. The bar showed up both damaged, and extremely filthy, which honestly isn’t the end of the world, we cleaned it up and it looked good. Upon pick up nobody told the people receiving the bar there was a remote included. Once it gets to our venue we wonder how it works so we call, and the receptionist tells us there was a remote taped to the top of the bar, and she “saw” someone touch it (who was in the truck, so impossible) So at this point I speak to her on the phone and politely explain my frustration. I called her out for lying about someone touching the remote and she began screaming at me over the phone, at which time I told her to quit raising her voice at me as I was just looking to solve a problem 12 hours before my wedding. Apparently she didn’t like this and hung up on me. One of our friends drove all the way back out there, talked to the owner them self, and HE solved the problem for us immediately which is amazing and we were very appreciative. This would have been 4 stars due to the bar being dirty and damaged, however the lippy, unruly receptionist had earned 1 star. In the future, don’t yell at your paying clients who are just trying to figure out a problem.

Used for chair and table rentals for our outdoor wedding. The staff was friendly, easy to contact, And gave us all the info we needed. The return and pick up times were very reasonable as well which was wonderful

It was great working with Special Event Rentals for our wedding. The sales rep Lori was easy to work with, and delivery was smooth and easy. I was impressed with the quality of everything I ordered, I will definitely rent from this company again.
