Lots of items packed into the store but it’s all overpriced junk.
Same items can often be found cheaper online.
Great for gag gifts but don’t expect quality.
Staff is more interested in discussing, with each other, their plans for after work than helping customers.

Great store. Very friendly staff, unfortunately, we were looking for Star wars, game of thrones prints there as someone told us they might have some there, but they only had posters.

Was shopping in the store close to closing time when the staff had put the door gate part way down with no warning to customers still in the store. As I walked away from the cashier towards the door I graciously walked into the gate that was lowered and cut my head. As all the staffed and looked at me with no response to what just happened. No one even checked to see if I was ok just stared. I will never shop here again! If I could give no stars I would

I received the BEST customer service in this store! The owner and/or manager was kind, personable, and had the most exceptional vibe. She offered me a QR code to scan for a survey to receive a discount. When she learned that I didn't own a touch phone, she gave me the discount anyway! Bless her heart! Such incredible kindness to offer a stranger/customer.
Great stuff, great music, great vibes. Will be coming back again and again and again.

I went to West Edmonton Mall to grab a few new 00 gauge earrings a few days ago, it was semi busy in the store when I arrived so it’s understandable if customer service wasn’t immediate. I work retail management so I understand. I was checking out all the earring options and was trying to make decisions as I liked so many? A older woman with short hair walks past myself and this other customer with a stroller and rudely says to her that the child dropped its hotdog on the ground and stormed back with a broom as she angrily swept it up, it wasn’t that big of a deal it was just a couple chunks of a hotdog and it was a child! I looked at the customer and apologized for her attitude even though I’m not a worker. At that point not one of 3 workers approached me to offer help as it’s been a solid 5 minutes and two were chatting behind the cash desk (not sure if they have a designated cashier that’s not aloud to step on the floor). As I decided on what four earrings I really liked before I could find a worker to ask for assistance this same lady peaked around the cash and with an annoyed tone and a angry look on her face and says “ are you needing some help, are you ready? “ I was shocked with the attitude and stood there not knowing how to respond. I ended up saying “ no that’s okay “ and just walked out. Really bummed me out as I loved the earrings. Having a bad day? Tell the girls at cash to get on the floor and help people and Take 5 in the back to de stress, you’re working in customer service even if you’re having a rough day you manage your stress away from customers. I did nothing to this lady to have been treated this way with her approach, As I walked out I told my mother as a manager myself I would have given that lady a PIP if this is a reoccurring issue or a coaching conversation immediately.

I love Spencer's and have never had a problem before. We came in a couple minutes before close which i get it, you want to close, you don't even have to let us in. But the girl who let us in, blonde hair and glasses, she exaggeratedly sighed, rolled her eyes, and then complained for the entire time we were in there. We were in there for 2 minutes, we even said thank you and have a good night. No response but said good night to the people before us? Seriously like i get it, but extremely rude. Everyone else was fine, but she had a problem. I hope I don't see her again.

Good t-shirts, but for mass made products they always seem to be overpriced. I recommend only going during a sale sadly.

Tried walking in to do simple shopping and felt harassed by female workers to put a mask on when there was another worker without one on. I will not be supporting this business no longer.

Had a dude yell at me over not having my mask on while I was taking a sip of my coffee. Grow up!

I enjoy shopping in here. I walk in empty hands walk out with my hands full. Not a boring sleepy at all. Love the shirts shot glasses and drinking glasses. You guys have have way to many nice things for me to take home lots of eye candy. Wetaskiwin needs a Spencers. (Please)

This place has all the fun, humourous items you can imagine. Great for gag, bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Great selection and service! Naruto merchandise is very difficult to find but Spencer’s had exactly what I was looking for my daughter was happy with what she got.

Lots of different gift ideas and lots of different tshirts from horror, to metal bands, and iyer sayings on them. The tshirts are easy to pick out, becuz they are all displayed on the wall. Many different and popular gift ideas.some a little pricey and others very reasonable. Quite unique.

Lots of awesome swag from t shirts to coffee mugs and various other cool and interesting items.

Always find a something I love every time I visit this store. From DBZ attire, Random gifts for my crazy friends, to Fetish gear for the misses. Never a dull moment!

Such a cool store! Found the perfect gifts for two hard to buy for friends. Staff members were knowledgeable, friendly and more than helpful. Some great BOGO deals plus they came gift boxed for easy wrapping. Winning!
