At my recent orthodontist appointment, I had a scan done for my teeth to get retainers. The process was smooth, and the staff was attentive. The scan was quick, and I appreciated the clear explanation of the next steps. Overall, a positive experience!

They're good at what they do and their customer service is top notch. Not much more you can ask for from an orthodontist.

Sphinx Orthodontics, has done a wonderful job in stopping my jaw from locking and clicking through use of invisalign and not having to do surgery. Although the process took a few years to complete it was done with care and a great level of throughness. Also the office is very accommodating with in person and virtual consultations and checkups.

From my virtual consultation to my first in person appointment Dr. El Bialy and his staff have been very pleasant and helpful answering any questions I have had. This is my first experience with an orthodontist but they truly seem to care about the patient. I have just had my Invisalign aligners installed and so far everything has gone smooth as silk.

Knowledgeable & friendly staff. We are so impressed with our daughter results of phase one so far. She gets compliments all the time on how beautiful her teeth are.

My son has been with this team from the beginning and the service is exemplary. Very understanding when it comes to schedules! I think we only had difficulties with the Dental Monitoring App, but that's more a technical issue, and did not affect care at all. Highly recommend!

We have been very happy with the service. Initially we were seeing someone else who advised my daughter was not a good candidate for invisalign as her teeth were severely crowding her palette and she got metal braces, which due to the awkward angles kept springing their wires and cutting her. We were advised to try Sphinx and they indicated with anchors invisalign would work. Cut to yesterday and I watched the update scan and her teeth are incredible, no sign of crowding. Just about ready to switch to retainer and we are very happy with the result.

Communication:
The day before the appointment I didn’t get the usual confirmation call or text which I thought odd, few days after I attended the appointment I saw they sent a confirmation email, not everyone uses email as their first form of communication.
Appt day… My first few minutes in the office was quite chaotic… The process did not appear to be streamlined, least of all seamless. At the front desk I was attended to by three different people, each with different forms. I was not quite sure who I was suppose to be asking questions at some point. I didn’t wear a mask into the office. I asked one of the ladies at the front if I was suppose to. Simultaneously, she said it was “optional, ” while the guy by her side said “Yes! ”A few people in the office were walking around without mask, including the doctors who had them anchored around their necks. I optioned for one since there was some confusion, and a sign on the front door said it was mandatory.

Privacy and Confidentiality:
From the front desk, you can see one end of the office to the other, there are only glass walls in the office and open areas and not the frosted kind. The computers are open to full view of anyone. No privacy; u share your health information and images with everyone walking by, both patients, their family members and staff. If your self conscious about how your teeth looks perhaps you should think about that because it doesn’t seem like they do.

Hygiene:
I saw one of the other doctors (not El-Bialy) performing a procedure that involved drilling or scrapping and there were tooth particles flying around him, and he did not even have his face shield on, it was literally hanging around his neck. The dental assistant assisting him had to tell remind him to put his shield on… this was after I was watching him, literally grossed out for 10mins at least. I was dumbfounded! Ur a dentist… hygiene is the first thing you should know. Forget COVID, as a dentist you know what bacteria live in the oral cavity, or you should! Also, the doctors all take off their mask to talk to patients, and not social distancing. If your okay with people not wearing mask, then don’t make it mandatory!

Pricing:
Price of Invisalign is extremely expensive… sometimes over 7k. And I’m not convinced they do anything to really add value for the price they charge.

Parking:
Had to pay for a 2hr parking for an appt that in reality shouldn’t have needed to be more than 30mins at best. If they had free parking, they never said.

I could go on but those were the major take away for me, others experiences might be different, who knows… I will update as or if I choose to proceed. The back staff hygienist and Dr. El-Bialy was friendly and apologetic for the delay.

Answered all my questions clearly and were very nice. They provided clear instructions and seemed to genuinely care about my progress.

I finally went to Sphinx after seeing three other dentists/orthodontists. I was told from these ones that I'd either need teeth extracted or my case was "too complicated". Dr. Tarek, on the other hand, was incredibly knowledgeable and immediately came up with an Invisalign treatment plan I was comfortable with, in a shorter time frame and for cheaper than the other places were offering! It is very evident that Sphinx Orthodontics is always learning and adapting their practices as new and better treatments come out.

This place is simply amazing! I was impressed from the moment I made the first phone call to inquire and book my appointment. Then you go into the clinic.the girls at the front desk are wonderful. The assistants very kind and patient (I have a bad gag reflex so took at lot of effort to take the scans). Then you meet Dr. Tarek.he is unbelievably knowledgeable. I was told I would need jaw surgery or devices that are apparently outdated. Dr. Tarek walked me through everything. He assured me I do not need surgery and that he can help with all of my issues. The costs was WAY less than what I had previously been quoted as well.

Awesome experience! I've had Invisalign for about a year now and the staff at Sphinx have done a great job at making my smile look great!

I'm on my 2nd tray of invisalign and I am so glad I chose Sphinx Orthodontics. They prepared everything I will ever need for the treatment. From oral hygiene stuff to the gadgets I'll need to send them scans. They've given me comprehensive instructions on how to use each gadget. I shared everything I got in an FB Invisalign group and I was told by invisalign group members how lucky I am with my ortho and I couldn't agree more with them. Also, I was bracing myself for the pain since most people from other ortho said that the pain will be unbearable for the first 2 trays but my experience is different. I think Dr. El-Bialy designed my treatment plan where my teeth would have little movements per tray so as not to cause too much pressure on the teeth and the pain will not be excruciating. Most importantly, all the staff is very polite and lively. The clinic is immaculately clean and high-tech. Definitely the right choice for my orthodontic treatment!

I was referred to this place by my dentist as he said they specialized in Invisalign. My consult was informative, professional and the information is presented very clearly. They explained all the options of treatment available (not just invisalign) and in a way so I could understand without leaving me feeling over whelmed. I was happy to find out I was a candidate for invisalign as I did not want traditional braces. There was no pressure to commit and they gave ample time to think about going ahead with treatment or not. I did a free assessment here. The process was online and took about half an hour, they answered all my questions and provided me with enough information to make an informed decision. I was very happy with the level of professionalism and knowledge shown by the doctor and his staff.the costs, rates and payment options are all within line for a Invisalign procedure.
