Always awesome service. Always fast and fresh and you always get your money's worth. The food is delicious! My son loves the garlic Naan and our absolute favourite is chicken biryani
Took my daughter for supper and a drink as a first time visit. I had a butter lamb combo and she had the butter chicken combo. 1 well spiced, 1 med spiced. Both combos come with drinks appetizers and desserts. There was alot of food! We both took some home and all was very well prepared and presented hot from the kitchen. Pricing seems high, but for a complete App to dessert meal with a drink it was well worth it! Staff was helpful with choices and checked up alot. Will definitely go back.
Best butter chicken EVER! Crazy big portions and good value for your dollar. Veggie samosas were delish and the beef vindaloo was soft and melt in your mouth. The location is not the greatest with a lack of parking and not located in the best area of town. I have never been to Lloydminster before and I found it a little sketchy.
A take out order of butter chicken consisted of only 3 small pieces of chicken in a bowl of sauce. I’ve been loyal to spice hut for years, but will now be going to one of the other Indian restaurants in Lloyd from now on. Was expecting to receive at least a small serving of rice with the meal, but that was not included. $51 for two small, appetizer sized portions from this takeout order
Food is great, but the service is terrible. No water refills or asking how our meal was. The roti and the Karachi paneer was fantastic, just the right amount of sweet and spicy. For the price, it should be both great service and great food.
Always delicious food. Ordered take out. Was advised 20 min for pickup. I arrived in 15 and it was already out front to be pickup up. My only complaint was that my food wasn't hot when I got home. I was home in less than 5 minutes after picking up. The server was friendly when using payment.
My Granddaughter loves the garlic naan bread. So today she tried the butter chicken and rice, and said if she could only eat 1 thing the rest of her life it would be this meal. She's 7. It was very amazing!
The best indian food we have ever had. Unbelievably delicious and very large portions. One order of rice is more than enough for two people, the Naan was huge and perfectly cooked and presented.
This restaurant was recommended to me by several people so I decided to try them out. The setup/service at the restaurant was decent. In terms of food, I have tried their Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, Lamb Masala, and Lamb Biryani at Medium Spice Level and their Garlic Naan. The butter chicken was one of the best I have had. The chicken was tender, juicy, and crunchy. It had a nice flavour on its own but even better with the sauce. As for the sauce/curry, it was less creamy than a lot of other places and it was actually a bit spicy at medium level, both of which I prefer for the dish. The lamb vindaloo and masala were also really good. There were nice pieces of lamb and potatoes. Both were nicely cooked and felt hearty with the curry. The vindaloo curry actually tastes like vindaloo with a bit more tomatoes and spices and it was more spicy than other curries, all of which made it satisfying while the masala was less spicy but more fragrant. The Lamb Biryani had good flavour overall, nice rice, and good pieces of lamb. It was definitely a value item. The Garlic Naan looked nice, was nicely cooked and crispy, but lacked a bit of the garlic flavour.
My young daughter went in with his boyfriend and dine in sunday night, she told me after food was great and they really like it but the service was bad experience, unfairly treatment from other customer, not even smiling. She may be lack of proper training for good customer service skills. So they said, they won't ever come back to that place.me and my husband will try some time to go there and see and experience for ourselves.
Consistently delicious Lamb and Chicken Curry! And the Gulab laman is SO good! If you are getting take out though I'd recommend making your own rice to save a few bucks since it's so expensive and the rice isn't included.
I cannot do spicey food, they have different heat levels Mild, medium and hot. I ordered mild and it was perfect. My son in law had the hot and he said it was " toasty" definitely would eat here again
We have asked for Halal food.they served us beef and lamb which is Halal.we asked for chicken they were very honest and told us it's not halal. The taste of Biriyanis are good. I recommend this restaurant. People are friendly and good. 5stars from my side.
