Great place, family owned. Really good food and on special occasions they have a roast lamb to die for. Great service as well

I was there with my Greek class on Monday and we had a great time. The food was tasty, and the service was friendly.

First and foremost - I have been coming to this restaraunt for 2 DECADES! That thought is absolutely crazy to me, but that should be a test to the quality. Their pizza is hands down the best pizza in the entire city - maybe even the entire province. I have never had a bad pizza here, or really a bad meal here. They are super generous with toppings, and I don't know how they make their crust so fluffy and airy, but so crunchy and buttery. Their ceaser salad is SO good too, there's no way they don't make their own dressing with how flavorful and garlicky. Their calami, their spanakopita, their chicken, their lasagna. Every single item here I would recommend. Not only the incredible food, the incredible service. It is through and through a family run restaraunt. The sisters have worked here all the time I've been going there, so it's been nice to grow along with them, and now seeing their kids working in the restaraunt brings me so much joy. Everyone is so welcoming and I have never bad a bad experience here, and I look forward to coming here for the next 2 decades.

In addition to the incredible pizza, the service at Spiro's Pizza was outstanding. The staff were attentive and helpful, and they went out of their way to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with comfortable seating and great music.

Overall, I give Spiro's Pizza 10 stars for being the best pizza in Calgary. The combination of delicious pizza, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere make this restaurant stand out from the rest. Don't hesitate to stop by for a slice (or two!) of the best pizza in town.

Really nice establishment with a great on theme decor! The speciality pizzas are great and definitely worth a try.

Had 14 inch pizza (half 5 sister / half house special). Was delicious, thick toppings and good price. Had to wait 20min as it was busy but worth the wait.

Spiros has been my favorite restaurant in Calgary for years now. A wonderful family runs it and the atmosphere is always cozy, warm, and welcoming. Their food is incredible and I've never had a bad experience there. The lasagna is out-of-this-world good and you can't beat their pizzas! I highly recommend you go there as soon as possible.

Ordered out last year when another pizza place said they didn't deliver to our area. Best decision ever. We ordered an extra special (pizza) as well as Calamari and a greek salad. They were all excellent and if the later of the two are any indication of the rest of the dishes I don't think I'd be disappointed. Portions are a good size. It a must when we're in the city. Staff are very friendly and out going when we call in. If you don't give this place a try you're really missing out. Great job guys keep it up.

Fantastic food and staff. Been going with our family for many years but the one complaint is that there are no specials for take out, delivery or multiple items. Prices have increased which is obviously expected but helping the customer save a couple bucks for an order that is a bit bigger would go a long way. Win-win

Wonderful generational family restaurant that has been around for decades. The food is delicious, especially the Greek salad, Saganaki, Arni Psito, and the lamb pizza! We went recently and the restaurant has had a great renovation that has added some bright colours and made it feel more open and modern. But the fantastic traditional food and wonderful people remain the same as ever. A true Calgary gem!

Delicious! It was our first time at Spiris but we will be back. The pizza was so good. We went personally fond of the proschetta (spelling?) as it was too fatty for us.

Best greek restaurant, food and staff in Calgary. Thats all you need to know. Tried everything and it was awesome.

One of THE best gluten free pizza crusts I’ve ever had; the day of AND the next day cold out of the fridge. Not dry. Not flaky. Delicious flavour.

Both times I’ve gone I’ve ordered Anjelika’s Greek (feta, ham, red onions, olives, tomatoes, banana peppers, Parmesan) and have enjoyed every bite.

The only downside is that I live in Edmonton. Can’t wait to travel back to Calgary for another one!

BEAUTIFUL! The cheesecake is a must have. Love the food so much and don’t get me started on the amazing people working there. They made our day a hundred times better. They are so kind and nice. Highly recommended

Best Pizza in town! I hadn't been there in quite a long time. I definitely won't be making that mistake again. I had the 10" Meat Lovers and all I can say is I wish I got a larger one

So as a bias reviewer bcause i was born n raised on mtl island which is two thirds greeks i can tell you honestly that spiros menu and cooking style reminds me of back home also as a professional cook i can honestly tell you the only thing better than all that greek food done properly is when youre surrounded by a family of georgeous greek women.ten stars outta five lol

I had their gluten free and was the happiest girl in the world to find out that it's thick crust. I couldn't even tell the difference! Best gluten free pizza in the city in my opinion.

I hadn't been to Spiros in years and I was craving Greek food so ordered take-out the other day. I will continue to support this amazing family restaurant. The portion sizes were huge & the food was bomb. I appreciated that they didn't fry the calamari until I arrived so it was fresh and crispy. Love this place, I highly recommend.

The gluten free crust is incredible! You wouldn’t be able to tell it’s gluten free. And with classic Spiros pizza toppings, you really cannot go wrong. An absolute must try.

Have ordered from here twice now. Their Greek food, particularly the souvlaki and calamari, are just top notch and probably the best Greek I have tried so far. Rice is tasty same with the Greek salad. As for their pizza, they are MONSTROUS and can easily be mistaken for Chicago deep dish style. On top of that, I'm pretty sure they use a homemade marinara sauce as it has a distinct taste. Definitely stop by here!

You must try the HOLY SMOKES Pizza, it is unbelievable. There is pizza and there there is the holy smokes. Best pizza I’ve ever had, think a Ruben sandwich on a pizza. I had to be convinced by my husband the first time I tried it (I’m a Hawaiian or pepperoni order) but after the first slice I am addicted can’t get enough and keep going back for more! Do yourself a favour and try it!

Spiros Pizza & Greek Taverna is a local (Calgarian) Located on 17th Avenue in Calgary, Alberta, Canada that claims to have the best pizza in the City of Calgary. Our Family Agrees with this claim. Currently they only do pickup and delivery due to the local lockdowns and COVID-19 Restrictions.

The Village Salad is the best salad in Calgary! Always friendly staff, great food. We often order take out and its always correct and delivered in a reasonably time. We are grateful for a family run business so close by, with amazing food!

If you want to be full off one slice of pizza, this is the place! It means you can have great leftovers. But it doesn’t stop there. Their entire menu of classic Greek dishes are amazing. From the Moussaka to the Lamb. Great home cooking. Can’t wait to go back in and be with the great staff - they make you feel like family! Oh, don’t forget the cheesecake!

Excellent Greek food! We ordered the Athenian chicken, kalamari and the lasagna, plus dessert. I can’t believe how everything tasted fresh, wholesome and homemade. 100% recommended
