Splash Park

This is a great location for cooling off on a hot summer day. Plenty of shady spots for the parents to relax while watching their kids having fun in the splash park.

Real bathrooms! Shade! Ideal splash pad for 6 and under. I like how it’s enclosed so the kids can’t wander away.

Lovely splash park. All water apparatus working perfectly. Set in a lovely park with plenty of shade for parents to make use of while the children play.

Nice park, around the fence. There are toilets, showers, and fits rooms. There are benches and a table. There is also a picnic area. I recommend it! Parking is available.

Plenty of shade from surrounding trees, great line of sight to the children playing, adequate parking.

Not extremely busy but definitely a great active park.

Wish the shielded fence was taller for better shade opportunities.

Great spot for taking young kids to play when it's warm out. If you're there early, you can sit on the South side for some shade!

It's amazing. Great for families with 0-10 year olds. So much fun. Stay for hours.

We've now started using the tennis court part of this park!

Gorgeous tennis and Pickleball courts in park like setting. Quiet, easy to park, newly resurfaced courts. Did not notice the splash park.

Super good place to beat the summer heat.fully fenced so that kids cannot accidentally escape. Bring shade with you, as the shaded areas seem to fill up immediately and only one side to the park has trees that will provide shade.

We met friends at this splash park and I really appreciated the shade that the trees inside and outside of the fence offered myself and my infant while my preschool aged daughter enjoyed the park with her friend. Site lines are great because it's a smaller splash park and jot overly busy. My one complaint was the city sprinklers that were going outside the park also sprayed inside the fence, making most of the shaded areas unusable. Side note: I found it mildly funny that there were signs up along the roadside reminding residents not to water their lawns in the heat of the day and yet the city was doing just that to its green spaces around the splash park.

This splash park is great! They have lots of trees for shade as well as a table with a big umbrella. There was lots of variety for the kids to do with water. Only downside I felt was on busy, hot days it can get a little crowded as it is fenced in and on the small ish side.

Great littlesplash park. It wasn't too busy and the kids loved it. There was enough shade for adults to sit back and watch in.
I would suggest you bring your own chair if you want a place to sit other than the ground.

Great place for a kid, not so great for the parent. There is no logical reason for there to be a fence. The fence surrounds about a 5m wide strip of grass that goes around the perimeter of the splash park. That area is TINY considering the amount of people that visit the place in the summer. There is usually no place to sit by 3pm. Of course you can sit on the outside in the park field, but then you can't supervise your child.

PS: The water in the park is very cold, like the water from a garden hose. Don't go to the park if you have a problem with that.

Not a lot fun during winter. Strongly recommend summertime if you're planning your first visit.
