I had a great experience at Splendid in Edmonton. With all 3 associates, Shabeen, Ali and Ahmed (I believe). I apologize if I'm wrong with the names. It was a few months ago when I was in the middle of moving and everything was chaotic. I went and called a few stores and by the time I called Splendid, Shabeen sent me some options. I was pleased to find Canadian made sofas. I was looking for a medium sized sectional. Once I chose a few to look at in store, I went in and I was promptly assisted. I wanted to think about it and talk to my partner. We went back 2 days later and picked up a sofa. Everything went smoothly and Ahmed went above and beyond basic customer service.

Excellent furniture store, excellent customer service. I built my own table and had trouble finding chairs to go with it. I needed counter height stools. Shabeen showed my wife and I through the store and explained what they could order for me. High quality and reasonable price. Thank you very much.

Wow! I had a wonderful experience thanks to the fabulous customer service Shabeen provided. Right from the first phone call - she was incredibly amazing. She made sure that my daughters bed was in on time and provided detailed updates on the status and expected time of arrival for the bed. Not only that she inspected the bed and ensured it met their quality requirements before releasing the bed to us. It was from start to finish a SEEMLESS experience. She made sure we were looked after right from the start. THANK YOU for making our experience amazing … you deserved every star from this review.

They had a lot of options that suited our style - it was difficult to choose! I had been to multiple furniture stores prior to this and it never felt 'right' to pursue anything. I was in this store for about an hour and I instantly felt it was the right place to be. We had moved from out of province and needed a couch, fast. They had many options available within a reasonable time frame (not 6-9 weeks like the other suppliers) and everything was reasonably priced! There was some miscommunication and we found out that the couch we were going to take home was actually not in stock (only the love seat was). So we had to wait 20 days. The upside to this was that we now got to chose a custom fabric and pillow set and the delivery time was still shorter than the other stores we went to.
The delivery guys had some issues which delayed their delivery 1 extra day but they were on time the next day and efficient. Splendid's delivery fees were also much more reasonable than the other stores ($80 vs the $150-$200 at other stores!)
Even with the communication and delivery issues, I can't give them lower than a 5 star rating because the service, options, and prices were fantastic. We will definitely be going back when we are ready to upgrade our bedroom set. Oh and our sales rep, Shabeen, was so wonderful to deal with:)

I was very much excited of purchasing sofa from here, since they have good deal and their sofas are beautiful. I was about to purchase the sofa that I liked and ready to come back the next day to pick it up; however, the way my questions were answered with sarcasm from this lady today just made me decide to walked away from the store. I am pregnant and cannot be stressed. If she is the owner or just works there she should not be talking to her customers like that. Just ruined my day.

Got a good price on a sofa and loveseat, picked out our color and they had it received and ready for us in less than a month! Super easy to deal with.

This is the second time visited in the past 3 months (had not heard of it previously). Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and not pushy with sales. Furniture is mostly locally made, well built and reasonably priced. Will continue to do business with Splendid Furnishings.

Bought sofa from Splendid Furnishings and its worth the price. Very good quality and very comfortable sofa. It is way better than what is available at Brick or other stores. If you are looking for any furniture for your house or office then I highly recommend to visit Splendid Furnishing showroom. They also customize it for you and lot of fabric and colours to choose from. The furniture is locally manufactured in Canada in B. C and Calgary with amazing workmanship.

10/10 experience here. I purchased this dining set. I reached out to splendid furnishings through a Kijiji ad. It was 345pm. Shabeen (owner) let me know that they close at 5pm today. I told her that I can make it in just after 5pm. Shabeen and Asif (both owners) waited for me and did not rush me or pressure me into a purchase! We left with this package at 6pm! Very friendly service and great great great quality furniture! This is a solid wood table made from the rubber tree. It is very sturdy and easy to put together. Competition has them for sale for around 3500$. I purchased this WHOLE SET for 1800$ tax in! Would 100% recommend all my friends and family! Will definitely be buying all of our future furniture from this outfit. Thank you Asif and Shabeen!

Outstanding to deal with…. There prices and quality are outstanding. My 92 year old dad was getting out of the hospital and placed in a nursing home.
I live 12 hours away so i called Splendid Furnishing and asked for help. Not only did she help me out but i needed it delivered and set up the next day.

I also needed everything EG pillows, sheets, duvet and cover…. She went out her way and stepped in as if she was my bet friend. She made the magic happen and the nursing home could not believe the quality.

This is one of the best place i have bought from in the last 40 years.

I also just happened upon Splendid Furniture and happily was finally able to find something a little out of the ordinary without having to go very high end in price. Shabeen was very pleasant to deal with; patient and very helpful. I needed a smaller space dining set as I was downsizing and I think I’ll be back again for living room furniture in a year or so. It took awhile to get my most of my order due to the global supply chain issues, but otherwise a good experience. They were also helpful loading the order into my vehicle.

I purchased a Canadian made, custom sectional and ottoman from Splendid Furnishings. The pieces are extremely well made, made in BC and come with a lifetime warranty! After visiting a few of the larger furniture stores, I stumbled upon Splendid. What a different experience. Both Asif and Shabeen are great to deal with. They have high quality furniture and provide a personalized service. Asif and Shabeen were upfront about the delays manufacturers are dealing with to set my expectations which was nice. Shabeen went above and beyond and matched fabric and colours for me. Truly amazing. If you want top notch service and great quality furniture, just stop looking around and go to Splendid.

Finally found what we were looking for. It is really a gorgeous dining set. And the great part about this table is extension stays inside the table storage area. No need to remove or store anywhere else. Easy to install.

We ordered a bed frame from Splendid. The bed itself is beautiful and service was excellent. There was a small hiccup with the assembly process due to a missing piece which the company went out of their way to ensure was corrected. I would certainly purchase from this store again!

We have an amazing shopping experience with splendid furniture. Initially we just stop by for browsing dining furniture and turned out we also got two double beds for our two girls and coffee table too.
The owner came to help us with listening our needs and highly recommended the bridge dining table which comes with ceramic top and metal legs. We loved it at the first sight plus it is stain and hot resistance.
We just got delivered with all our furniture last week. Already got lots of compliments on our pieces. And my two girls love the bed and nightstands with the pink knob.

Good selection of furnitures. We almost did a one stop shop because they have everything we wanted for our mainfloor. From dining to kitchen island to living room area we bought everything with them. It was a nice experienced dealing with them.
